Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard

design is much better than the old one, except for the MUCH smaller LCD and the red lights compared to the blue. I also preferred the "dial" volume key on the old keyboard more, but nevertheless this keyboard is a good one.

i upgraded my original G15 to this one, and i love it. I had no need for so many macro keys on the original G15, so it was wasted space, and just too big for my liking. This keyboard has a much nicer uniformed look to it also. The back lighting is more 'even' also. Definitely would buy again. i just love it.

I really love this keyboard it has really useful macro keys and an LCD screen which can be customized. They keys feel great and responsive.

This thing is awesome, get SirReal's lcd app and you start to unlock the power of the LCD. Write your own apps and you're starting to get really serious. The lighted keyboard is good for dark rooms. My only complaint is the tactile on the buttons isn't as good as my last 20$ keyboard and I accidentally hit the g buttons instead of escape and ctrl sometimes.

This keyboard is fantastic. I love the looks of it, very mean looking lol for a keyboard I guess. Some keys look like they stick out too much tho like the G and F keys. Looks odd. All the keys feel great tho and are very quiet, but since lots of them are sorta tall they feel kinda wobbly, but I got used to it already after an hour. The lighting for the keys and such works flawlessly, can see any key from nearly any angle. And the LCD is angled just right so you can see it very clearly. Programming the macro keys is very easy. Kinda wish this keyboard was wireless...I use my TV for a monitor, but I do sit JUST close enough for me to use it without too much of an issue. Typing on this keyboard is awesome too, the keys are all layed out perfectly. Weird how they used USB 1.1 for the USB ports on the keyboard...but I'll never use the things anyways so I don't really care. All in all, this keyboard is amazing and for the surprise sale price you really can't go wrong buying this thing. Best keyboard I've ever used and I doubt I'll buy another keyboard for a long long time. Lol I THOUGHT my old keyboard was awesome (the one from the MX3200 combo) but after comparing the two, there's really no comparing the two, this thing is miles ahead of the other. Love this keyboard, I like the orange but they should release other colors for those that don't like it or want to have it match with their case mods. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one when mine hits it's 1 year mark.

the driver on vista 64-bit is really buggy, at start up there's an error message saying that the drivers (echovoice gamer statistics *for the LCD i presume) didn't load properly and wants me to reinstall the drivers- which doesn't get rid of the error message at all. The error message slows down my start up by a lot.. and for me the error message isn't really worth the keyboard.

Backlight is good, its tactile response is great, it lets me control WMP from in game. I would buy it again. Macro touch is great. best price for good a keyboard!

sometimes i think the price is too much for this keyboard. it's not really the best out there, since its corded. and the LED...lets just say u wont keep ur eye on it as much as u keep it on the screen.

I am typing on this keyboard as writing this review. It feels amazingly clean, and smooth when typing. The LEDs look great in the dark, and the LCD screen is fantastic!

I'll start with the bad parts first: The LED's are only 1 colour. Orange is one of my favourite colours so I can't complain but it'd be nice if Logitech shoved in the G19's feature of multi-colour LEDs. Up next is that (to me anyways) the LED's aren't as bright as I thought. They look brilliant looking at them from a birds-eye view but at the angle most people sit, they do lose a small bit of their intensity. The USB ports on the keyboard are unfortunately USB 1.1. That kinda sucks for those of you looking to power devices or to have a high speed USB solution. Lastly is that each individual app you have on the LCD screen chews up memory. I've only got a few apps running totalling 10MB of memory but for those of you who will have 25+ apps going, I suggest having 4GB+ of RAM.Now for the good! The build quality is quite amazing. Logitech never compromises. The keys have a great feel and the product oozes quality. The layout of the V2 is way better than their old V1. The LCD/media controls just flow better with the keyboard and the G keys have been reduced to allow for a smaller footprint. I think 18 macro keys is pretty good! Lastly is the LED's. I'm new to the novelty but it is pretty awesome. They have a good shine and really do help you in the dark.Overall, it's a 5-start product. The negatives I mentioned are basically just me expecting a completely flawless product.

I had the previous G15 Rev 1 and loved it but it was starting to fade away so I had to grt this one to replace it overall Logitech is the best for its products. If your looking for a gaming keyboard this is the one. Fantastic deal also $59.99. :)

I don't know about you guys, but when I buy a keyboard it HAS to have a big backspace key. I absolutely hate the keyboards with a tiny backspace buttonThe LCD is nice for gaming..etc, but gets annoying sometimes because you can't fold it downI like the feel of the keyboard, and it looks very goodBut this is a VERY big keyboard. If you have a desk like me with very little space, I would avoid getting such a big keyboard (20" long, 10" wide)I don't like the orange, I would have prefered pretty much any other colour, but I guess it's tolerable. This keyboard is also quite priceyThe adjustable brightness is also a nice feature. Lit up keys are useful when playing in the dark.

I've had this for two months and I just bought another one. This is really an amazing keyboard. I've tried the Saitek Eclipse I and II and this is better than both. Definitely recommend picking this up when on sale.

Okay, its backlight is good, its tactile response is great, it lets me control itunes from in game, and it is in the old style arrow key format with end right above the forward key. I would buy it again. Yes I still use arrows, get over it. Price match wins!

Not bad for a Avg Gaming Keyboard im not use to the G1-G6 keys so they get hit :/. Was on sale for $50 so i had to get it then its $100 price at the time.

some may like the led screen some wont, I was dissapointed when I saw how unsensitive the keys where when holding them down (w key, fps games)I like the media keys, but there is a lack of support for applications using the display panel.

This keyboard works perfectly, looks great, best keyboard i've ever had. To the person who said it's not vista compatable, they don't know what thier talking about, I run it on vista 64, and to say logitech does'nt know is an outright lie that person just made that up. like people that return thier monitors because the component inputs don't work, all it is, is a dip switch on thier dvd player that need switched, warning half the reviews in here are by people that don't know what thier talking about!

Outstanding keyboard. Layout is great and the glow is not too dim and not too bright. Just right. Had a minor issue using this keyboard to get into BIOS but that was not the keyboard's fault for being USB. Simply adjusting BIOS to load USB fixed the issue. Have not yet installed the software for the LCD... waiting on my parts to complete my I7 build. Would recommend this keyboard to anyone. Great design, comfortable, sleak. Logitech has created a jewel. This along with my Logitech MX Revolution mouse makes for one amazing combo.

I've had this KB for about a month, and I'm impressed. A bit expensive, but worth every penny. This is by far the best KB i've ever had. The keys are crisp and it is excellent for fast chat typing. The macro (G) keys are awesome especially since you get 18 of them. Overall, if you want a great KB for gaming this is the best you can buy without spending a ridiculous amount of money. I'll give Logitech one thing, they made one heck of a KB.

The Logitech G 15 is a great product. The look and feel of the keys is very good, I can setup shortcut keys with ease. I play games in the dark, lighted Keys are the best. My wife saw mine and had to have one too. I also purchased the IOGear GCS932U USB DVI KVM Switch Switch at the same time, but when I set up the system the keyboard would not work. The fix for this is to plug the keyboard into the mouse port of the KVM, and plug the mouse into one of the keyboard USB ports. Install the KB software on both computers and all works good. When switching, there is a small wait time(about 3 seconds) until the system recognized the mouse and keyboard, not a big deal. I love walking into Tiger Direct- it's a BIG TOY store for the right people.

This is probably the coolest keyboard ever, i can talk on aim and play americas army. I LOVE IT, i've had it for a few months and it's got a ton of options, i highly recommend this if you play a lot of games and do multimedia things.
