Very Impressed
Comment:
I had the G-15 until my dog destroyed it, then went back to a regular keyboard and thought I lost the best keyboard I've used. Then I did the purchase of the G-19 and I can say it is very impressive. Good response playing games, the color on the screen is great. I'm looking for more apps to run like for teamspeak and COD 4. One minor thing that is a little hard to get used to is the angle of the keyboard itself. Even with the foldable flap extended the angle is a little low. Besides that they need to make it about 50 bucks cheaper and you probably can not find a better keyboard out there for gaming.

Comment:
I have own and still have the G15 and G15 SE I think this one has the right balance. And the price .... if you got a camera and a keyboard and try to marry them together it would be cheaper to get the G19 Trust me I build and modify alot of gear Darrell W NW Ontario

Amazing
Comment:
This keyboard has everything that the G 15 doesn't have. The keyboard is a bit big, it doesn't use the keys like the Razor Lycoza.

Nice.
Comment:
Good product, especially like the backlit keyboard for those times where you see better in dark light. Besides the proice, the onyl down side I ahve to it is that it didn't come with an instructionmanual, and the macro's don't seem to want to work in some games(SWG is my main one), even though the info display works for them.

Great product, kinda high priced
Comment:
This is the second G series keyboard. I had a 1st gen G15 which went to my nephew when I got the G19. The programs are kinda slim right now but once the KB has been around for a while I expect that to get better. My only complaint is that it is kinda expensive but in the end it is worth it.

Logitech G19 Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- Price

Pros:- LCD screen- Multiple color led for keys- Twelve G buttons- Typing is great
Comment:
Well the weakness was a no-brainer, this is an expensive keyboard. But aside from that it's great, awesome LCD screen and the typing on it is better then my old G15. The keys are crisp and feel very good. The LCD is definately the highlight of this keyboard, the resolution and colors are astounding and it is the most useful screen so far in the G-series keyboards. Overall feel is of quality and craftsmanship, and the ability to customize almost every aspect of this interface makes it a great buy. The fact is, even at $200, if it lasts several years it is worth it. Recommended.

Logitech G19 Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:gets hot (in fact mine melted part of the plastic. I wouldn't be surprised if this was recalled but then again i may just have a defected one)the lcd can't be flipped down (like g15)priceuncomfortableplastic palm restspongy keys

Pros:LCD displaySmall (compared to g15)customizable backlit lightingbetter placement of keys i.e volume (compared to g15)
Comment:
basically if you can get the g15 get it. Yes its bigger, Yea it doesn't have all the cool features but you know what the g15 is WAY more comfortable and the keys feel way nicer. in fact if i can't get a refund for this im giving it to my brother and then getting myself another g15. i wasn't going to bash this but i miss my g15. this thing costs like 150$ more, you must be crazy if you think its worth it. the lcd display is nice but i didnt buy a 24 inch screen to watch youtube on my keyboard.i'm basing my opinion off of two things that i find to be crucial in a keyboard it has to comfortable and it has to feel nice the g19 is neither of these things, the extra features i mentioned above are worthless without those key components.o yea and wth logitech why would you go and make the palm rest thing hard plastic...it felt so good on g15...SAVE YOUR MONEY, BUY A G15. or alteast buy a g15 to use when people aren't around.

Great keyboard
Comment:
this is my 2nd gaming keyboard from logitech. i had the 2nd gen G15. this new one blows the G15 out of the water. If you are running Windows 7 you have to go the Logitech form for the beta drivers and software. the drivers they give you wont work. The LCD screen is really clear for the size. the response time to controlls are little slow but it works great.

Logitech G19 Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- Some 2.5in drive enclosures require both USB ports to function despite them being powered.

Pros:- Powered USB 2.0 ports- User-selectable variable key colour- Colour LCD screen
Comment:
I waited for the G19 to upgrade from my G15 V1. The narrower form is a nice change, along with the darker finish. The G19's screen is Windows SideShow compatible, so any app that runs there can be displayed on your keyboard. My one complaint is that certain keys exhibit a distinct snap/click noise when pressed at certain angles, for example the right-arrow on my keyboard is much louder if I press on the left or top vs the right or bottom. This compared to my G15 V1 which didn't do this with any key, not sure if I just got unlucky. But thankfully it's none of the primary keys.

Logitech G19 Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- Expensive

Pros:- Smaller then G15- USB 2.0- Damn Good looking- Hundreds of key colour combination- High res screen- Macro keys slimmed down- Slim media area- Good software
Comment:
The best word to describe  this keyboard is "Luxury". It has absolutely everything and then some. This is easily the best keyboard in the world right now. The ability to change my back light colour is something I've always wanted. I can watch video while waiting to respawn in-game and use the stopwatch in racing games. The only issue is the price. With taxes and everything this cost me about $270 Canadian. If you have the money and the desire for luxury, the G19 is for you.

Logitech G19 Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:- PRICE !!!- Average keys feel- Seperate power source required

Pros:- Beautiful- Alot of usefull features- Color LCD works well, and is crisp- Macro system very elaborate
Comment:
I bought this to replace a Razer Lycosa mirror. The reason is mostly the gadget loving geek voice in me telling me to, but also because the Lycosa's multimedia controls suck. I use the multimedia controls alot, and since I decided to change keyboard, might as well upgrade.Let me tell, this keyboard is excessive, in every possible way. It boast so many features, I doubt I will ever use them all, even though I'm an avid gamer. The keys feel good but not great, I admit I rather liked the feel of the Lycosa more, with its flat surface keys, but its a quality keyboard nonetheless. The backlighting is beautiful, and customizable (although there seems to be a bug right now which makes the all blue not so bue, but purple, maybe its a software issue that will be fixed later, either way, no biggy). The LCD applets are mostly useless, but the ones that you end up using (depending on personnal preferences), are really fun and worth it.This board is like 70% usefull features, and 30% pure vanity and geek power. If you arent very secure with your geekyness, you may end up second guessing this buy, as its hugely expensive for what it is, but if you do, you will feel all fuzzy inside. Additional points for the programmers in us, which I am, as the drivers include the full SDK, making it possible to make your own applets for the LCD, which I am already working on ;)

Logitech G19 Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:Plastic wrist restHigh price

Pros:Colour LCDCrazily CustomizableNice feel on keysGood multimedia keysProgrammable game buttons
Comment:
I had the original G15, then the second gen G15 and today hooked up this beauty. I've been using it for several hours and I am already used to it. The keys have a decent feel, maybe slightly muddy but they are quiet so midnight messages to your mistress would be stealthy. The LCD is quite a showstopper. It is bright, surprisingly very clear, angle adjustable and can offer a wealth of information. I will be loading up a few games soon to see how much better it is over the G15, but already I can tell it is going to be much better than the orange dot matrix the G15 has.The scroll "wheel" is actually a long cylinder located above the number pad that has a textured rubber part in the middle. This is used for the volume control which is much better than the buttons that were inconveniently placed on the G15 at the very top. The rest of the play/stop/pause/track buttons are above the volume control. Not much bad I can say about the key board. The first thing is the price - $200 or so in July 2009 so you have to be a bit of a gadget junkie like me to justify it. I suppose the price may float down some in the future. The plastic wrist rest it comes with is not the most comfortable so you may want to get a gel one to replace it if that is important to you.Overall I am happy with it. If it was $75 less I would give it 5 stars.

Logitech G19 Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:Comes with a power supply

Pros:Amazing screen, easier programmability, tons of macro keys, nice sound dial, sligthly larger than the G15
Comment:
I have just upgraded a G15 with this G19; I was already happy with the G15 (which I use as a business/software development keyboard), but this is even better.I do not know what drugs the other reviewer was taking when he mentioned that the G19 was smaller than the G15, but the keyboard is a good bit larger than the G15, and even sports a larger keyboarding area.1. Bright adjustable screen: the G15 was stuck at a fixed angle; this one is finally adjusting to me. It is bright, clear, awesome.2. 36 macro combinations. Wow. For those who can program, the keyboard comes with a simple programming language (looks like the old BASIC from way back when) called Lua. Adding features and complex macros, using the screen, all are a piece of cake.3. It comes with its own small power brick but that brick's wire is tightly coupled with the USB cable do it doesn`t really take much more desk space. The brick is narrow and uses vertical prongs so it won`t take more than one slot on a power strip. The brick seems to power the screen and the USB 2.0 hub I guess (the G15 was 1.x), I haven't tried operating the keyboard without it though to see if it works in no-power UPS conditions.4. You can adjust the keyboard backlight to any color you want, and assign up to three colors (one per mode). A button lets you turn it off all at once. Awesome.5. The sound controls are much better than the G15; it uses a scrolling wheel that is perfectly located. The mute button is also better separated than it used to be.6. The new software that comes with it is amazing; assigning features, macros, code, or defining defaults is a piece of cake. The feel is a bit softer and cushioned than the G15 (not by much, it is almost imperceptible), which I like. One of the best pieces of equipment I bought this year, and I am particularly demanding when it comes to keyboards.

Logitech G19 Black Wired Gaming Keyboard
Cons:Seperate Power Supply

Pros:Smaller than G15
Comment:
I have owned both the original G15 and some other keyboards. The one reason i bought this keyboard was because of the similarity with the original G15 but not the same big size.
