I bought three of these for the companie I work and we love it. You have to change the batteries of the mouse, just dock it and for the keyboard the batteries are good for almost 5 months

When I seen this combo on sale, I jumped at the opportunity. I use this for my laptop when I connect it to my big screen and has worked great so far. The bluetooth reciever has an excellent range (sitting on couch about 10 feet away) and even worked for some of my other bluetooth devices. The mouse is very well designed with some great features and comfortable to use. The battery for the mouse doesn't need to be charged that often. The keyboard is a good size and comfortable to use, but I think maybe getting rid of the calculator function and putting in a num lock key would be more useful. I also wouldn't mind seeing a backlight for keyboard as it is all black and not the easiest to see in low lighting. Overall it is made by Logitech so you know your getting a high quality product. This is the best desktop combo that I've owned.

I bought this because of the mouse and blue tooth interface. I would have prefered a more standard keyboard build with feet that opened front to back. These open right to left and will break if you push you keyboard under your monitor and catch a foot on the monitor stand.

this product is great its bluetooth, but for those who have wireless internet, it can mess with the signal of the receiver especially with the mouse, if your wireless card and receiver is behind your pc and your downloading, you will get from time to time lag on your mouse signal. otherwise this item is great

I was looking out for a wireless combo and this one came up on sale at just the right time for me and has met my every need plus more. The bluetooth feature is really amazing as I'm able to get great distance from both keyboard and mouse. No problems with this combo and excellent battery life. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wireless combo.

Previewly had MX5000 then i saw MX5500 is on sale so i jumped on the deal. Sold the old set for 70 bux and MX5500 is the best keyboard mouse set money can buy so far....... Really easy to setup its almost plug and play ...

I love the mouse and its features. It seems Logitic designed it for me. The keyboard is good. I wish the clock in it would luminate more than it does and the volume controls are a little off and not smooth while increasing and decreasing the volume. Over all it is very nice combo.

I love the mouse a bit more then the keyboard, but the bluetooth feature is great since I live in an apartment complex. Most of the time with RF wireless keyboards, my neighbors take over my desktop. I love how sleek the keyboard is though.

and purchase this one. The blue tooth connection is the greatest. No base with wire that you have to keep moving so the keyboard keeps the connection. The mouse warns you when it is getting low and time to be put on it's base for charging. It is a comfortable duo to use!

The single best reason to use this keyboard and mouse combo is for the range Bluetooth provides. The lower end combos are fine for desktops when eliminating the cords since most of those can go 6 to 10 feet away. There are some mid-level wireless combos that rates up to 20 feet as well. Anything 20 to 30 needs Bluetooth unless you attach the USB adapter onto an extension cable and then place that it between you and the PC but that may not be practical in a living room to have a cord going across the floor from the HDTV to the seating area.

This combo is realy a trio You have the keyboard, the mouse, and a bluetooth adapter. If you use your computer for multi-media this is necessary. I have had the MX 5000 now for 2 years now and can't do without it. The keyboard has set ups to control all of your music and video and picture files and programs as well as internet and email. The screen display allows for access to music, video, and pictures away from your monitor. The bluetooth allows you to connect your phone and load any files on the phone straight to your cvomputer. Then you can connect stereo bluephone headphones or speakers or any other bluetooth devices. Logitech also provides current updates if you have problems with the drivers on the CD, or if they are out dated.

I really just bought this set for the mouse. I've had the RF version of the mouse since it was released and the shape fits my hand so well I dont want to switch to anything else. The keyboard really is quite nice as well. It's really quite compact for all of the stuff it does but it doesn't feel cramped. My only concern is how easy this guy will be to clean.

Great keyboard and mouse combo!! I have been using the MX Revolution mouse for over 2 years and wanted a keyboard mouse combo I could use one receiver with. My boss about had a heart attack when he saw what I spent but it is worth every penney. Only thing is I wish you could buy the Bluetooth mouse separately. I would retire my regular Revolution and buy a new bluetooth version for my laptop so I would not have to deal with a receiver getting banged around.

This wireless goes beyond expectations! I have my tower setup as a media server about 25 ft away from my viewing area, and I can sit on my couch and the mouse and keyboard work flawlessly. The Mouse is smooth and and comfortable, the keyboard has a very welcoming feel. performance and features are under rated ... the bundle is just a bit pricey though, after all it is just a keyboard and mouse.

that the batteries ARE NOT replaceable in the mouse! I have this combo for a few years now and for the money I don't think it's worth it., I am now looking for a new one because the mouse can not keep a charge and the keyboard is starting to stick. I would certainly think twice before buying.

This is obviously an expencise keyboard and mouse, too bad they don't sell the keyboard alone. However, the mouse isn't so bad on its own. I use this set for all my needs, including gamming, everything is working top quality and is the best wireless set I have ever seen/used. It may take some getting used to with all the buttons every where and the function key, by the way not all function keys are programable. You would want to set up the function key and programable keys to your liking before abusing this set. The keys are very quiet and thats a plus for me, the feel is very smooth too. I think the LCD is just for show but that fine by me, the mouse seems like it has more on it than it should but it works just fine, all the buttons are spaced out just right and I have yet to hit the wrong button in mid game. PS. Yes the mouse is for Righ Hand people only, sorry lefty. learn to use the other hand...this combo is worth it, good buy.

Have the older version, MX5000 Keyboard and Mice set. Had for a year now, and everything works fine, beside buying battery for the Keyboard. As for the Mouse. Its awesome, since being a laser mouse. Its a lot better than the optical mouse.. A lot more accurate than optical. Other than that, it serve me pretty good. I also like it because its capable with my PS3. I don't need to do nothing just push the button and have the PS3 search for the keyboard and mice since the PS3 have bluetooth built-in, no need to remove the USB bluetooth. Switching back and forth between PS3 and computer is a breeze. I would recommend they to anybody.

NO NUMLOCK!!! Why would Logitech remove the capability to use the numpad for arrows and home/end/del/etc when it costs them NOTHING to have it? I have long ago discovered that the numpad is superior for cursoring around in and modifying source code (or just simple text) and now I simply cannot stand the alternative keys. I really can't image what possessed Logitech to make such an idiotic move. Also, why change the size/shape/location of the function keys (e.g. F1, F2, Esc)? Just leave them alone! Make them the same as every other keyboard that has come before! That's what we're used to and happy with! Being a programmer, I use them very frequently and am used to them being a certain way. Oh, and the scroll wheels on the mouse are pretty lousy, they dont feel right, and clicking the wheel is horrible. However, all that being said, I would be relatively happy with this product if it weren't for the NumLock issue.

This keyboard and mouse combo are amazing. The keyboard has a few features that are mind blowing. 1 it has a built in calculator. no need to turn on your computer it is right there. 2 it tells you the temperature in the room. and 3 it lets you know when you receive an email. The mouse is also pretty amazing. it has the standard 5 buttons, but it allows you to set them to do pretty much anything. the thumb scroll wheel can switch windows in vista or it can turn the volume up and down to name a few of the options. The connectivity on both of these devices is not bad at all and the sensitivity of the mouse is very smooth and flowing with no problems like jumpiness and such. The battery life is amazing. on the keyboard i started with 181 days and 3 weeks later i have 186 days left of battery life. :) the mouse has a built in lithium battery and needs a charge as soon as you get it. The battery says it will last for 16 more days without recharging it and i haven't charged it for a week. :)

excellent keyboard and mouse. features include clock and date, alerts when you have email, displays music playing in windows media player and there is a key counter. the mouse is awesome. i've been using it for 5 days and its on an 80% charge. excellent product
