Logitech Z-2300 2.1 Speaker System
Cons:The only thing I could think of, which is really minor I would think, is a 'trebble' volume in addition to the 'bass' one on the pad would have been nice.
Pros:Excellent sound quality, good for anything (games, music, movies), strong build, THX certified, lound enough thank you, volume control pad (instead of on the speaker or subwoofer, which can be a bummer sometimes), bass control and earphone plug on pad as well. |

I don't own these speakers, but a friend of mine does and I've used them quite a bit. First off; they are LOUD for 2.1 speakers. 200w RMS is a lot of power for 2 speakers and a sub. Logitech makes great stuff for phenomanonly cheap. |

Cons:the speaker cables anre not that long and there is no mounting for the speakers... so you cant mount them on the wall. wired remote should be wire less. like the other systems.
Pros:All of it is the best... made form the best qualities of parts and woods. Remote. i like the wired remote becouse you dont have to reach for the speaker to turn the volume up. Comment:
This is the best system for about 150$ and it is very loud and very good quality of sound. there is very littel down sides to the system. it is all magnetily shelded so it is ok to put beside your tower. plus the covers on the Mid and high range are removible for a difrent look.my final verdict is thes are very good speakers and they are top of the line. |

AWESOME sound system. The subwoofer is really really huge and so powerfull! It could be use for an home theater system, really! The external volume control is relly nice, but watchout, some 3,5mm plugs won't fit due to it's design (ie. my HD595 headphones). These are excellent speakers. |

Absolutely stunning. I was skeptic about this model when I got it but, I actually considered the looks of it before I bought it and wow, was I surprised to hear the quality of these speaker, especially once you start tweaking up your sound settings. I'd recommend this to anyone to doesn't have space for a 5.1 system but wants to have great sound quality. Although these aren't the best (what do you expect for 120-150 bucks?), these are absolutely amazing for its price. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED |

Replaced the x-530 5.1 set from Logitech. It allowed me to clear out the wiring, while improving the audio quality. The best feature of the z2300 is the bass unit. With the proper audio track playing, you can really feel the bass deep in your chest. It'll annoy the stuffing out of your neighbors when you max it out.The most important part about the set is tweaking the audio. I found it necessary to reinstall an old Soundblaster Live! DE, install the KX Project custom drivers, and then mess with the bass EQ before I really felt that the bass unit was more than just a gimmick. The bass on the x530 was just always boomboomboom, but with tweaking the z2300 gets clear bass and you can differentiate between the booms. Despite that, the only thing wowing me right now is the bass. I wish I could say that everything sounds different, but they dont. Hey I'm not an audiophile, what do you want? Get this unit for the subwoofer, and dont think for an instant that it is jesus reborn in speaker form. |

I had a 5.1 creative system and moved to a new appartment. 5.1 is good for movies but for computer, i prefer to limit my wiring in my room so i purchased this set.... and wow!!!They sound really good... and I can't play with volume at 100% because it's really too loud!You can control the bass volume on the remote witch is really great if you are in appartment like me so you can boost it up the night... jokeSeriously, when everyone sleep, i just set the bass volume to minimum and the sound is still good.If you want a 2.1 set, this one is for you... Believe me! |

These speakers are definitely powerful, and the subwoofer produces great bass. Good sound quality. Wired remote is a good size and has a control for the bass. Also has a headphone jack too.However, I don't like having no aux. input for other stuff, like an iPod or something. You would have to reach in the back and pull the cord from the computer. In other words, a hassle. Moreover, no treble tuning, though it has a bass level control on the wired remote. |

This is an excellent set of speakers for the price. Lots of bass, (enough to get my parents angry:p). However, sometimes the vocals arent as loud, they're drowned out by the bass. I remedied this by using the equalizer in winamp. Its not perfect but its better than nothing. All in all, an excellent buy. |

I just have the sub hooked up, and i am using a surround speaker system for speakers, the sub pumps its great, replaced my broken 10 inch sub with this, this is more then a replacement its more then twice as good, when i have it on things fall off my shelf, and my heart and lungs vibrate, this is before setting it high enough to distort, its loud, and im sure the rest of the block can hear it to. The only place you would get better bass is a car with 2 12 inch subs. |

Purchased these speakers along with a new system 9 months ago. I have had only one issue (will discuss later) with them at loud volumes the sound is still clear and excellent quality. Only problem i've had in some bass tests the subwoofer can actually pound the cage which can be quite unnerving. Overall amazing sound for the price i would recommend these to anyone. |

Cons:- well it is only a 2.1 setup- the satellites look much worse with the black filters on if you ask me- the subwoofer is quite big so be careful where you place it on the floor.
Pros:+ Sound: Excellent 2.1 sound produced for the price, the sub has plenty of power and sounds great. + Ergonomics: The wire "Volume pod" has a headphone jack + the headphone volume CAN be changed by adjusting the volume knob on the "pod"+ Style: The left and right satellites look great with the black Logitech filters removed, I also think they sound a bit nicer without the mesh interfering with the sound coming out. These speakers are for the music lover without 1) the space for a 5.1 setup or 2) the budget for a 5.1 setup. These are one of the best 2.1 computer speakers available. I must recommend using them through a sound card for optimal performance. While these speakers sound decent, they could really do with some dome tweeters. Thats the only thing they are missing, as the highs in music aren't exactly all that compared to my cheap Sony bookshelf speakers. This is probably why most people say the Klipsch promedia 2.1's are better, as they didn't skint on the tweeters. Maybe Logitech should of balanced a bit of their efforts on the subwoofer and focused more on the satellites as well. |

The only problem is the higher the volume gets, the upper ranges aren't as clear, and there is static. Cons:- Nothing really, I got a great deal on them and am very happy with the purchase. One thing is I wish companies would make the satellite cords a little longer, my setup works but just barely reaches. Barely worth mentioning.

Bought these for my new system that's in the mail but I couldn't wait and tested them on my laptop. Wow. That's all I can really say. With my laptop soundcard and setup these things sound amazing, much better than my 3 year old Altec Lansing 2.1 setup. The sound is crisp and clear, bass is very loud and defined and this setup is LOUD! Can't wait to give it a go on my new PC. |

Look people, these are awesome speakers. Unless you have a huge room where your computer lives than you do not need a 5.1 or 7.1 speaker/woofer setup. These things BUMP and are awesome for all my games. I have used 5.1 setups that do not even come close to the quality of this 2.1 setup. Don't be a nOOb and think that a 5.1 or 7.1 setup is going to rock your world. These will do just as good a job for half the price. Big deal, you have a 5.1 sound card or 7.1, I have a 5.1 and the speakers are great. Buy these! LOL |
