As these are probably going to be applied as desk speakers, I see tiny explanation for a control dock separate from the proper speaker. As such, I am incredibly pleased with Logitech's decision on their choice to omit the separate manage dock when updating the Z623's predecessor.The woofer packs a lot more bass than the 10-inch subs connected to my 1000W amp that serves as a party stereo (those speakers are, admittedly, old even though). Not as loud--but Surely stronger bass. None that I have observed so far. Granted, I have had the speakers for much less than a day. my old speakers had amazing highs and lows but TERRIBLE mids...as if Inventive, Inc. could only manufacture twitters and subs...the Z623s have astounding highs, mids, and lows.Though I've only had the speakers for much less than a day, they have far exceeded my greatest expectations for them (which were extremely high to start with).I will be certain to update this critique if something does go incorrect, even so for anyone who has not had the opportunity to test these speakers in particular person (as I did not prior to buying them) know that your very first impression will absolutely be a good 1 for the price range.

It has massive bass. Wall shaking bass. If thats what you want, then buy this. But I ended up returning it. Im kinda a budget audiophile and I appreciate good sounding speakers. These are just ok. Honestly, they sound tinny and metallic if that makes sense. And they shouldnt at the price point. I instead recomend Edifier S330d which sound IMO much better at a similar price point. But these destory the Edifiers when it comes to bass so its up to you, do you want mids and highs or bass.

I received these speakers as a gift during Christmas 2011.They have great sound that's very crisp and nice. They do an amazing job producing quality sound from whatever I throw at them (Movies, Rock, Dubstep, hiphop exc).The price point may seem high, but, if you compare to a low quality professional speaker cabinets (used in concerts, plays exc..) they are cheap. A single speaker cabinet can cost anywhere from $200 (being rated at low 100-250 watts) to the 10s of thousands.Esentially, buy them, and you will be happy.

Speakers are strong, bigger than the image suggests. Sound is very clear. Power button is separate from volume as opposed to the Z523s. Bass manage is on the manage pod / appropriate speaker. Sound is a bit tinny - nearly sharp to the ears (or my last speakers were as well muffled). Volume manage has this incredibly loud static pop / crack as it's changed - as this is 'right out of the box' this challenge only stands to get worse, and when doing finer adjustments of audio, I consider this to be unacceptable. As I come across the volume manage to be a dealbreaker, I RMA'd these back to NewEgg right away. I just can't live with that type of issue, when the Z-2300s that I have in the residence are 4-5 years old and have But to exhibit that issue.

Incredibly very good excellent and very cost-effective. Has out standing sound and bass. Subwoofer is really strong. Like to have a lot more access to sound choices(treble, subwoofer adjustments, and so forth) Buy it!!!!

Flashy new style. Still superb sound high quality. Just not as fantastic as the predecessor. This is strictly a comparison with the Z-2300, which this is a successor to:- Smaller sized subwoofer speaker- Smaller sized amplifier, no heatsink- Smaller sized subwoofer box (this is a bad factor acoustically)- Much less wattage to satellites- No control pod. The manage pod was a important pro to the z623's predecessor. Now all adjustments have to be created by reaching toward the right satellite. Additionally, headphones must be plugged in there. This is a significant con. The manage pod was my favorite feature. If you can find them, attempt to get your hands on the Logitech Z-2300. It has been discontinued in favor of this. Such a shame. I suppose Logitech's marketing objectives have shifted since 2003 (the year the Z-2300 was developed), and this is the result: a less costly, inferior successor item.

Outstanding Stereo fidelity and separation even at high volumes with no distortion. Pronounced clear bass even at low volumes. Effectively packed for shipping protection. Bit overpriced at retail but I purchased with NewEgg discount + Logitech rebate which I consider a great worth. Brief propritary cable from right speaker to subwoofer limits speaker placement. There is no THX surround sound decoder as I 1st believed, but then again you must be searching at 5.1 systems. Previous knowledge with Logitech buyer service has been A+. This time eg, I got my rebate much less than 4 weeks immediately after submission in the form of a verify (not a clunky debit card). I nonetheless have not received rebates from OCZ, Asus and CoolerMaster for parts bought from the Egg in early Dec.

These sound awesome.Pros-New egg shipped em in two days!-Bass knob , yes you can turn the bass off if you wanted, thats a huge pro for me because i watch a lot of motion pictures at night and dont want to wake up the neighborhood.-Sound is clear and not distorted-Bass rumbles-Very properly produced, parts dont appear affordable, nice thick cords-Several inputs, im gonna hook my PS3 up to iy and play Battlefield Bad Organization 2 lol-Cost! They were 149 initially , then the price tag lords looked down upon me and dropped it to 107 lol, was 128 shipped! None are you crazy? Blown away, this is my 3rd attempt at speakers, and 3rd time was the charm, i will not be sending these back:)

Great highs, fantastic lows, and middles are incredibly good as well. I just replaced my old Logitech two.1 system that was 6 years old with no troubles. I wanted to upgrade to the THX-Certified program and it is a large distinction. Incredible play back, the sub is incredible. It has a huge hole on the left side which is the exhaust and in the loosest of lows it feels like a fan coming out of the program. Will blow all those dust bunnies away... ;)The two speakers are wonderful. I enjoy that you have all the dials on the appropriate speaker simply because my old method had the dial box and it was super stupid, designed a bunch of unnecessary cords in the back which would get tangled up with every little thing else and in the finish when I would try and make the sound go up I would her static in the dial. This is easy and sweet with all your instruments on a single side, no going behind the sub to lower it. All in all, it is excellent, and for the price?? WOW. Of coarse there are better systems out there but not for th The Sub is seriously massive, so if you have a tiny desk space, you may well have to put it on the side of your desk. Virtually twice as major of my old program.The air coming out may well distract you if your feet are proper next to it. When there are huge explosions in games a massive shot of air hits you, I sort of like it but some may not. If not you can put the sub on the left side of your desk and the air will hit the wall. I appreciate the black sleek appear. Makes my desk appear fancy and sophisticated.Delight in.

Really Happy with the Aux/RCA ins (Makes it quite simple also hook up to my ipod. telephone, tv and laptop. Alot of Power in a small package. Virtually consider the sub sounds clearer then the desk Speakers. Did notice at actual high high vols, Desk Speakers distort(again at Genuine high high vols), but the sound out of the woofer was still clear. Your not gonna find a better deal than this, I assume they sound awesome and i would tell any 1 of my good friends there worth it. Pleased with my item and newegg solutions/Product shipped to me in three days!

Stylish, Good quality built, THX certified, Highly effective subRegarded as the z506 due to 5.1 option, but decided to go a bit larger. There's no doubt Logitech placed a lot more top quality into the z623 series. This pair has rubber strips permitting them not to slide on ones desk. The tough protective grill/mesh versus 506's wimpy nylon is a Huge plus! Once again, quite effortless to see this set is Logitech's greater finish 2.1 process. Volume manage and bass are nice on front right speaker. These speakers sound excellent with music and movies. I can not think the power this little method has ( I say small when in comparison to my Z5500). I don't dare turn it up even halfway. Trust me when I say these speakers have power! Getting a gamer I expected significantly additional out of these speakers when it came to gaming. I recognize 2.1 speakers shouldn't be applied for gaming, but again I expected much much more. Not as heavy as the Z-2300Not as huge as the Z-2300 Not as loud as the Z-2300 I purchased this set for function to replace the Z-2300 because the remote died again. This is supposed to replace the Z-2300. Nicely, I work in a factory and have to be in a position to hear this more than the machinery. At complete volume, this was lower than the Z-2300 at about 1ǘ volume. This is a excellent set for at house but not very good sufficient for my desires. It doesn't pack the punch that the Z-2300 has.

This speaker set will cover you on all types of music quite customizable to get the sound you want. Bass is extremely clean and crisp. its heavy 24 pounds in all and they create good sound. Covers your mids remarkable highs are good and nicely the low end will do whatever you want in my oppinion. I dont have a soundcard =/ a small pricey nevertheless it sounds Amazing, superior than i was expecting, a different three pointer for Logitec.

I have only owned these for little over a week and all I can say is these things kick tail. The sound quality is really remarkable for the cost. The variability in the sounds based on genre of music alone astounds me. I was listening to music, playing Counter-Strike: Source, and had my tv plugged into these and everything sounded excellent together. Having the capability to access the bass control appropriate next to the volume is worthy of five eggs alone. Also, having an additional headphone input is quite a lovely feature. I am getting a small amount of static from the headphone jack built into the suitable satellite. It's incredibly subtle and it doesn't bother 1 minute so I can't dock the speakers something for it. These are now 贝 though they had been far more when I purchased them. Luckily, I had a ฮ mail-in rebate. For the price it's challenging to complain about their sound. Comparing these to the older speaker systems that these replace is virtually like a low blow. These are a different speaker method in a unique class of their own. If you're going to gripe about sound high quality on speakers of this cost, you need to have nothing superior to do to be honest.

Fantastic, but not great sound high quality. The cables are sturdy and form solid connections (especially compared to spring-clips like my old z560 amp used to have). Knobs have a very good feel to them, and the volume, especially for bass is way more than I require if I don't want to annoy downstairs neighbors. THX certified speakers do sound noticeably better than other speakers of their size (I think these sound far better than Bose speakers I listened to which price about twice as significantly). Size is great for my desk, not too massive, but not tiny/flimsy, either. Currently have each a laptop and desktop connected; I just have to play with the software program volume in each to have their relative levels nominal since these speakers don't have adjustments for individual sources - they just amplify all inputs the very same (haven't tried the suitable-speaker's input terminal, only the 3.5mm input and dual RCA input on the sub/amp. If you're definitely an audiophile, these won't impress you in sound fidelity and timbre. I like them, but for sound top quality, my sennheiser hd280 pro headphones have superior tonality. Durability, I hope.... Nothing spectacular I am the proud owner of a set of Logitech Z-2200s that I bought about 7 years ago. They still amaze me. They are attached to the 50" Television setting in my family members room.I also purchased a set of Klipsh Pro Media 2.1 to use on my laptop or computer. They were crystal clear, but lacked the bass "punch" of the 2200s.This was great until a couple of months ago when the Klipsh sub woofer blew..... The satellites still sounded fantastic, just no bass.I ordered these Logitech Z623s in hopes that they woud amaze me as nicely....................they didn't.Overall the sound is pretty clean (for personal computer speakers). I just miss the "kick in the gut" bass.
