Extremely clear sound, even at high volume. Subwoofer not as significant as my Z-5500s but could be felt just as well. None To test these out when we initial got them I hooked them to my LED Television and blasted Extended Edition of Avatar at about half volume. Really loud, really clear, really superior. The room we had been in is a smaller living room setup and the sound bounces off the rear wall so we have pseudo-surround sound... I was surprised the neighbors didn't complain about the noise. The only flaw in my setup is no remote so I have to get up to adjust the volume manually when I start off a movie or game. But that is not a fault of the speakers. Information cable from proper speaker to sub was too short for my initial setup with the sub on the left of the Tv stand. Moved sub to the right and had plenty of slack for clean cable routing.

Solid develop. Lots of input; a pair of RCA (red and white) and three.5mm on the sub woofer, and 1 a lot more 3.5mm on the correct speaker. Produces accurate lows and crisp highs. Mid range sounds great too. Bass is not overpowering. Can't tell if there is distortion in high volume since 40% of the volume is already too loud for me. No remote control. I'm not sure if THX truly applies to two.1 systems but I guess it assists on improving the sound high quality. I bought this from Best Acquire and it's worth every penny I spent on it. At the moment utilizing it for my Xbox 360, Desktop and Laptop.

I got this using a 50% coupon from Logitech awhile back. I decided to not get a 5.1 speaker set because of my room cannot hold onto it. I grabbed these, and they are awesome.The sub is very powerful, and when I watch movies with these, the sound is extremely good. On loud volumes, they are even better, but I get scared when putting these on maximum power, the whole room shakes!I'm not sure if this is just for mine, but the right satellite(the one with the controls), seems to be quieter than the left. Not sure why, but okay, I don't mind. When the volume is higher, you don't notice it.I would actually like to see this come with a control pod instead, like the z-2300s. Other than that, this is a great product!

Overall for the price its a pretty nice system. Good looking and good overall sound. But for the price you can get some 5.1 systems...
