1-Small 2-Fit like a glove 3-works nicely Fan is a bit little and slow. Out of the box, it kept my P4 three.2 HT NW in the 40s C except for StalkerCS and Crysis working with a Sapphire Radeon 3850HD which runs about 50 C and tends to maintain my case warm and the CPU about 55 C. Once I replaced the fan with a quicker and higher CFM I haven't noticed 50 C on my CPU but.With stock cooler it would see 65+.With Masscool stock replacement 50-55 wasn't unusual.This model kept it just at 50-52 under load, 42 idle.I haven't noticed 50 C even pushing games since I replaced the fan on this model.Nice.

It functions better than the stock cooler. Looks nice. It is noisy. It is moving so considerably air that it is producing my other components dirty. May perform fine if you run it on a controller so that you can throttle it down a bit

Combined with arctic silver this heatsink and fan combination is the very best I've utilized to date. low price and it works quite nicely. even so it is quite loud, so either adjust the fan or get a fan controller. i got a fan controller to control all my fans, cause all fans are loud... so if you want very, GET FAN CONTROLLER! it is ideal with FAN CONTROLLER!

Powerfull...survived RadCon with out crashing...p4 three.four G with HT in a 90 degree room for 2 and a half days Clips are the cons in my case...well MB that isI have an intel MB when i got this Sync the clips didnt fit, but i was able to adapt them with four tiny zip tie chains, two for every clip...but this is a lot more of my poor, as i should have checked to see if my MB could support their clips....however with the Zip Tie Chains & clips the Sync holds properly make sure your MB can support the clips!!

Soon after a couple of months, NONE. Fan installed on these things is absolute garbage. Mine is dead about 2-three months immediately after install. Would NOT advise purchasing this. Hopefully I haven't fried my CPU. I have fans installed on this computer that are on their 7th year. I replaced a Northwood with a Prescott a couple of months ago, so I wanted an above typical cooler. Incorrect. This fan died in roughly two-3 months.

Let's face it, there's not a lot choice anymore whan it comes to socket 478 coolers! I bought this since of the great reviews and the 'all copper' construction. I was a small dissapointed simply because of the 70mm fan getting my only selection. Ideal out of the box this small heatsink/fan combo cooled my p4 three.4 G to 25C! Only a 70 mm fan choice... See below... I purchased a 70 mm to 80 mm fan adaptor on e<fontsizeɤ></font>Bay, and I'm gonna adapt a Masscool 80mm fan to this already excellent heatsink!

Installation was extremely simple, have always had problems with this ECS board Proc Temp., but this cooler dropped the Temp. by 12C., significant copper heatsink, quiet fan, and nice size. None Not a gamer unit, but will preserve most game play temps within cause. If your searching to improve more than you stock unit, at a good cost, this will fit the bill. Gets the job performed. Installed it on my P4. Operating at perfect i would say my temp is 27-29 celsius. Operating when OC 30% the max it hit was 35 celsius. Had to use my own thermal paste

It was effortless to install (and uninstall) and definately cooled the processor greater than the stock fan/heatsink. It worked with no issues at all for five months then suddenly yesterday afternoon the fan just died. No warning. Just stopped operating. In spite of it's sudden demise I just ordered another one as a replacement.

Cooled Pentium four in µPGA478 socket down to 86 degrees F employing Arctic Silver in continuous use from 3ቲ񳏇 until these days 12ቮ񳏉 when I removed it simply because it died. Without CPU fan, CPU ran up to 165 degrees F, so it cooled it normally by half with out a fan. A little difficulty initially in finding the CPU clips that came with the fan to grab the nibs, but this was minor.

Gave life to a 7 year old setup that I was ready to give up on. I was hastily applied the thermal paste incorrectly the last time I popped open the case and this last time I checked decided to reapply the paste effectively. Needless to say, I broke the holding clip on the stock cpu and had to order this.The stock cpu, when I applied the thermal paste appropriately, ran at 29c idle and went up to 45c immediately after/during gaming.With this new cpu fan/heatsink, it's at 25c idle and 35c after/during gaming. It looks like I'll continue to ride this setup until it ultimately fails. Glad cutting edge games do not appeal to me. I'll stick to CS:Source.The separate retaining clips is such a wonderful notion. I didn't require any tools to pop them in or out. None. It was so simple to install compared to the stock. I'm glad I broke my stock cpu cooler. This gives me a year or two to stick to my setup for now. I'll almost certainly construct my next technique 1 piece at a time.

Extremely easy to install. Superior directions if you require them. Decreased the temp in my laptop or computer by 20-30 degrees! My video card used to run at 170 degrees and was finding a lot of video difficulties but not anymore. None Watch out when you get rid of the clips from your old fan because when I took 1 side off it basically broke a piece on my motherboard so now I have to maintain my personal computer horizontal so it doesn't move :(
