Straightforward installation, really detailed manual that produced setup a breeze. Haven't performed any OCing yet, but the BIOS gives a lot of alternatives in that regard. Board is ridiculously sturdy. The CPU socket push-lever requires ridiculous force to snap back into spot. This is apparently perfectly typical, but is scary as heck if you're not utilized to it. None so far! Let's hope it stays that way. Intel i5 2500kMSI N560GTX-TI Twin Frozr IIAntec TruePower New TP-650 Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 4GB DDR3Windows 7 64-bit

1. availability - one of the only boards I could uncover, when the initially batch of "revised" chipset boards hit the market place in late March. two. AUTO-overclocked itself from three.3GHz to four.2GHZ proper right after installing windows 7 ultimate, and the msi drivers.three. swift connect "header connector blocks" for all of your chassis cables, front panel USB cables, and so on. No far more having to use needle nose or hemostats to connect your chassis wires directly to the mobo.(okay, not confident what the official name is for these block assemblies but you plug in all of your chassis wires into these "labeled" blocks. Then the entire block plugs in the mobo) -power switch, -reset, -HD LED, -PWR LED- Pc built-in speaker,- four USB wires [-GND, Ƴ, +data, -data]four. fit nicely in my old coolermaster chassis.five. solid really feel6. booted up and began working7. graphical BIOS navigation 1. one pci-express-16 slot [knew this going in, so not actually a con].two. one of a kind startup tones emit from mobo at power up. When the "revised chipset" sandybridge mobo's came back to market after the recall, the very first 5 or 6 boards I tried to purchase came up as "out of stock".I used a number of MSI's before and still do, so I grabbed this 1 and took a likelihood. No disappointments so far.

Cons:DOA on 2 boards!

Pros:None couldn't get 2 boards running. Ncix has great customer service!
Comment:
After receiving two dead boards and even getting them professionally checked out i decided to move onto the Asus P8P67 Pro board instead. I RMA'd the first one but no better luck with the second. Only good side was that NCIX was generous with easily sending refund.

MSI P67A-C43 (B3) ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Some strange issue with USB headerSATA ports awkwardGUI BIOS doesn't work well with a CRT

Pros:Good basic board. Stable.
Comment:
Used this for an i5-2500K build. Went together well. Only nitpick is the SATA ports can be a bit awkward. System ran on first boot just fine. Only issue I seem to have is the system likes to periodically hang on the B4 part of the boot sequence, which means a USB problem. When I disconnect the header it seems to boot fine. I know the ngear USB hub works fine as I've used it in other systems without issue. For some reason, the MSI doesn't seem to like it. Other than that, a good basic stable board.

So far so go. Booted up initially attempt with i5 2500k, 2x2gb Gskill F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL, Nvidia 9800 gtx, intel 120gb ssd. Bios is pretty straight forward. The SATA three ports are proper under the video card, so annoying. Why couldn't they be out in the open like the rest of the SATA ports? Not the finish of the world though. When it posts it makes a couple beeps, i'm utilized to only 1 beep...

Comment:
Instructions are very detailed. This was my first build, so it was a relief to see every little thing covered. I second the comment that it took a LOT of force to get the CPU cover to close all the way, but it doesn't appear to have hurt anything. None but, but I haven't in fact turned it on. I'm only posting a review since... NewEgg's Detail sheet says that there are 4 onboard USB two. headers, when in reality there are only TWO (and one of them looks like a three. header, but is essentially a two. header disguised as a 3. header, with an appropriate adapter to give it 2. compatibility).Anyway, only two USB headers on the mobo, although with all the ports on the back, you almost don't will need them. I, regrettably, do, and so now I have to purchase a USB PCI card to get the third onboard header I need (as well as four additional USB ports on the back that I DON'T need).

MSI P67A-C43 (B3) ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:-little to no overclock capabilities but great for locked cpu

Pros:-I'm not buying anything but msi boards ever since I got this one-insane boot time compared to an asus board with the SAME ssd
Comment:
this board is just great. Good functionality. Can't do SLI/XFIRE but it's just perfect for someone who wants a good high end card and wants to save money on the board and power supply.

Almost everything works perfect. I was incredibly pleased by the good quality of this product. Absolutely nothing more and absolutely nothing less. Absolutely nothing seriously apart from close RAM which for some reason individuals complain. If you can insert all the sticks just fine then what's the big deal appropriate? Oh and i forgot to mention that when you insert the cpu at the socket don't be concerned about locking the cpu with the lever. It's natural to apply a small bit of force. Just a heads up simply because I though I was performing one thing incorrect and I happened to scrape two tiny dots on my cpu's surface. It nonetheless works thought I suppose. :) I have completed tons of analysis attempting to uncover the very best motherboard for my intel i5 2500k. I have observed all the functions from every single major brand and I can tell you that it doesn't seriously matter in the end. i just purchased the cheapest mobo without having sacrificing quality at a excellent cost of 贎. I had a บ discount from tiger direct. I was thinking of the reality that at some point in the future I may well an added PCI express port for SLI or Crossfire but I realized that it was a huge waste of dollars considering the insignificant efficiency. At the rate new graphic cards are developed and prices plummet, it's rather stupid to have SLI. Unless you have three monitors which is also stupid if you are gaming. So stop looking and just buy this one and be done with it. And take pleasure in the awe inspiring energy of the SANDY BRIDGE! URA!

Bought this mobo, bent a cpu pin first day but thank god for the guy in the RMA department in Coquitlam, believe his name was Jason... he got it fixed for me. From there on it was smooth sailing. Great budget board, built a $700 system with it and it works just as intended.

MSI P67A-C43 (B3) ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Not a very good overclocker

Pros:Cheap, works well, easy to use bios
Comment:
Good motherboard for its price. But you get what you pay for, its a very limited overclocker. Its max cpu volt is locked at 1.35 and it will automaticly slow down t he cpu under load to about 4600mhz and doesnt give you the option to disable this feature unlike higher end boards. It works well for light overclockers though, currently have a 2500k running at 4500mhz nice and stable.

basic board for single vid card. wish it would have worked. awaiting replacement immediately after installing everything, i had no video, no POST. called MSI, good cust service, walked me by way of each and every wire. They ended up telling me it was either the mobo or the 2500k, and to return both. so i'm waiting on replacements. MSI P67A-C43 (B3) ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:No legacy ports/connectors of any kind besides one PS/2, bad documentation

Pros:Simple installation, runs fast, and had a decent number of config options
Comment:
Good enough for the money. Is fast and works fine. Has a lot of configuration options for a fairly cheap motherboard. The UEFI Bios is neat and simple enough to use. For backwards compatiblity, things are less pleasant. Couldn't get an older SATA drive that works in my previous desktop to show up in this one on any port. No IDE ports. Manual and software is full of spelling/grammar errors.

Very good board for a excellent priceAdore the new BIOSSata 6 & Sata threeI chose this motherboard mainly because I did not require a 2nd PCI-Express slot & the price was nice for this one. Originally I had been searching at acquiring a different MSI board with a 2nd slot but it was about โ much more. But that was prior to I purchased a 5870 on sale, so then I decided no 2nd slot was important. It worked right out of the box with the new I7 2600k & Corsair Vengeance memory I purchased & made setup of my new pc extremely effortless. None I didn't take place to acquire this mobo from Newegg but wanted to leave a review for it anyways.

MSI P67A-C43 (B3) ATX Intel Motherboard
Cons:Only 16 GB capacity.

Pros:Nicest motherboard layout I've seen. Clear labelling. Best BIOS I've used. I've built exclusively with ASUS and Gigabyte. No more I'm building with MSI
Comment:
I love this motherboard. There really isn't anything wrong with it. It high quality, well labelled and is, compared to my old Gigabyte board, narrower. This made it a breeze to install into a crowded case. If you'd been considering MSI time to try them out.
