I have xbox 360, and a logitech controller for pc. Everytime it would take a few games to get accustom to each controller when switching between games, so just need one for everything. Wired is better wireless, read some reviews that the receiver has some issues so wired better, and plus no batteries needed. It works with my 360 also. Pricematched it down to 35, and bought it to play windows games as well as emulators on my hdtv through my pc. The cable is reasonably long, so unless you're planning on sitting quite far away from the screen I wouldn't bother going wireless. The wired controller works very well, and you'll never have to worry about batteries. All-in-all, worth the money. |

This is a great gamepad for windows, the best available imo. Works great for racing games and emulators. Only problem i have had with xbox 360 controllers is the analog sticks wear out eventually and will constantly tilt slightly in one direction however this hasnt happened to me yeat after 1 year+ |

I have bought this controller for Dirt 2 and I have been very pleased so far. I bought the wired version because of the cheaper price. The controls feel perfect and it is very comfortable. This controller is my only non Logitech device on my PC... Highly recommended!!! |

This controller works really well with Games for Windows. I've used the controller with Race Driver Grid, Batman Arkham Asylum, Assassin's Creed, Burnout Paradise, Prince of Persia (2008), and Street Fighter IV. All of these games works very well with the controller. You can enjoy the comfort of console gaming with all the benefits of PC gaming at the same time. I highly recommend this controller to any PC gamer who plays a lot of Games for Windows. However, FPS games are better left for the precision of the mouse. Cons:-Chord is a tad long for me. Had to wrap up over half of it with a zip tie to avoid it getting caught up on everything on my desk.-Haven't had too much time to play with it, but it seems the right side of the controller vibrates half as much as the left. Not sure if it is suppose to be this way, but further testing with a larger variety of games should tell me if this is so or not.
Pros:-Out of the box plug and play with Windows 7. No driver installation needed.-Automatic configuration of games which support the Xbox 360 Controller.-Very solid build, should be able to take a beating without premature failure. Comment:
So far it is working perfectly fine with The Last Remnant and Prototype, both which natively support the Xbox 360 controller. No configuration needed, it just worked. Probably the best controller for the PC in terms of compatibility and reliability. Should last me a long time, and with more and more games natively supporting this controller, I don't have to worry about the hassles of manually configuring for the games I wish to play. |

Great controller that is well worth the price. The build feels very sturdy, and the software & driver installation went completely without a hitch on my XP system. I have tried several controllers before and all of them suffered from game-breaking input delay. I have noticed no such lag with the Xbox360 wired controller so far, which is so important on those fast action games where responsiveness on every frame matters. This could be the best and last PC controller you will ever need! |

I got this for the occasional fighting or sports game. Although it feels a bit small for my taste, it does feel nice and sturdy. I prefer a more wider, bulkier controller personally, but there doesn't seem like much of a choice for quality PC controllers nowadays. Buttons are responsive. If there were extra features like alt/shift buttons it would be sweeter.Set up was easy on Vista Ultimate. Haven't bothered to use the bundled software yet but the games I've tried recognize it fine.A solid PC controller. |
This is the really the only choice for a pc gaming controller, a calculated move by ms no doubt. Luckily for the most part it is the best designed controller out there. i am on my second one which a ordered at a fantastic price here. the first one is still functional but after 4 years of hard gaming and a even harder concrete floor its best days are behind it. My only complaint is the D pad is horrid, you cant get it in black and the difference with directinput and xinput are maddening but can be fixed with a mapping program.
