Bought myself a treat with my new system. The OS boots in a flash, everything runs faster and smoothly. It now kills me to reboot any other PC with a non-SSD HDD!Losd times in games are also much quicker |

Only had it running for about 3 days and so far no problems.Windows Experience Index gives it 7.9 (out of 7.9).I'm impressed with the price that NCIX has these drives for. Seems to be the cheapest Sata 3 SSDs around (at the time I bought it anyway).Hopefully it doesn't crap out on me, but so far so good. |

I wanted to try an ssd drive but wanted to stick with a brand I could trust and as usual Mushkin deliver's. This drive was a breeze to intall and set up. I was leary about installing it on my Asus Maximus III sata2 but This drive peaks out nicely and here are the # on a sata 2.Western digital Black 640linear read begin 107.7LR Middle 86.7LR End 54.3RR 88.7BR 232ARA 12.19msMushkin ChronosLR Begin 232.7LR Middle 259.6LR End 259.8RR 269.9BR 270.9ARA .10ms So there is the proof that these drives work great on sata 2 ports. I will be waiting for more of these drives for my clients I highly recommend these drives or if you have a few more dollars and are running sata 3 I suggest the deluxe to get the most out of the drive and of course comes with Mushkins High quality customer service. A great buy |
I used this one for installing the OS and put Starcraft 2 in... so freaking awesome performance!!!I wish there could be a guide on NCIX about SSDs, I mean a web-page that explains what you have to do and what you MUST not do with an SSD!and btw, I order another right now for BF3 ;)
