Inexpensive and smaller, no complaints. Not the fastest device in the universe, but for the price and size, you can't compare. Great if this is what you want. If it's your main switch, you could want to look into a gigabit switch as an alternative, but just to connect a thing like your game consoles or to be utilized for guests, it's perfect.

plug'n'play... its a light show the energy connector is really touchy... pops out very easily is bumped or a gust of wind hits it from an individual moving a pillow on the couchso ill take 1 egg off for that... fortunately rubberbands will repair this i purchased one of these in the previous & dont remember teh power plig getting so touchy...oh well, some easy innovation will fix this challenge

Worked right out of the box. Feels very well created. When I 1st got it, right after a handful of days it started out generating a really high pitch whine sound. I'm not confident what induced it or what produced it quit, but it did ultimately go away. I marked it down 1 egg simply because of that whining sound.

I got this to put behind my Tv. It's tiny and trustworthy. It's not gigabit but yet again they do make these just a small far more high priced.

This switch is working fantastic so far. Able to play L4D with two computers with no packet loss. Using the switch to bypass the Uverse router to speed issues up and network three computers and two hd boxes. Utilised to get bad compression on HD now not so substantially. just the usual power inlet in the back and the ethernet ports in front. Tough to mount with this setup. It is a great blue color with white lettering. green indicators are bright and has a metal shroud.

Amazing component for a great price tag, plugged it in and it performs. none Netgear delivers as constantly and newegg was fast in delivery.Employed this to get the needed ports to connect all the devices in my soho to my WNDR 3700.

Gonna have to say it's bullet proof and best of the greatest. can hear a incredibly silent noise when no cables are plugged in.

Works ideal out of the box. I connected it to three computers with cat5e cable and they all picked up the net devoid of a hitch. No fussing with software or configuring of any kind. I also like the metal housing, it shows high quality and durability. None

Operates as specified, auto uplink - No crossover cable necessary here - Compact style. RJ45 Jacks plug into the front of the unit also the place of LEDs to monitor the switch. This is kind of awkward with cabling concerns. If you dont will need to moniter then no troubles with this switch

Functions fantastic for splitting my ethernet line between my PS3 and my computer in my spaceHas worked flawlessly for about four months It's only 10럼, but you can't count on gigabit speed for this price tag. We have Verizon FiOS, and this switch does not slow down the upload/download speed 1 bit (no pun intended). My mobo has a 10럼񲿘 NIC, and I get the precise same speeds regardless of whether I connect to the router via the switch, or directly.

Small, lightweight, and silent. Add power and your LAN connections and you are completed. Presently utilizing my desktop, laptop, and PS3 with it, and all are showing 20mb/s or more download, which is what I would get with a single, direct connection. It's really a 4 port switch with a 5th port attached to it. I haven't tested it, but if you are seeking to get the complete 100mb/s utilizing all five ports, your results could be below the advertised quantity.

- Plug and Play (it just works!)- Wall mount selection- Tiny- Quiet - Flashing Green LEDs are pretty bright, nothing some electrical tape can't fix. It would be great to have an over-ride switch for these lights. - Plug-in is a small on the bulky side so it didn't fit with adjacent plugs on my power bar. Plug it in and it operates excellent. No config!

Simple things to plug and play. Item was nearly as well uncomplicated tobeleive that it would function for me. I in fact believed there was a error> I use the item for my house wireless network and I have a wireless back up, wireless router and telephone all hooked up to it. None to consider of!

Worked perfectly out of the box, 100 Mbps speed with zero difficulties. Metal Case is gorgeous, and feels solid. Comes with two screws with drywall sheaths, for wall mounting. Lots of documentation. Packaging (cardboard box) is exceptional, could re-objective if in will need of a speedy storage answer. Power Cable to Switch is a small flimsy. Coddle the cable by making certain at least two inches is leaving the Switch straightly, I do this by supporting the cable with a nail in the wall. I suspect if the cable is coddled this way, the connection will not break down from pressure on the cable. Excellent Switch, loses a ideal score because of the weak power cable connection. Would acquire it once more, even though.

Metal encased, compact, no vibrant activity lights, energy supply is high high quality, can be utilised as a mobile switch. Does not effect function...rubber feet ultimately fall off if handled frequently. Much better constructed and exact same results as a c**co.

NETGEAR good quality, the cost and rebate. none Have bought and applied a number of NETGEAR goods for both the home and office with no problems at all.
