I bought this for use with my DirecTV HD DVR reciever(HR-21) and it works great. Took about 5 minutes to get VOD working. I'm using this with an old D-Link router that uses the G format so I can't say as to how well it works in N mode.

I bought this so that my two boys (ages 12 and 15) could play with their friend online with the XBOX 360. The xbox component runs about 100 bucks and my 12 year old had about 50 saved so when I found this, I figured I'd give it a try. I wasn't home when it was delivered. Nonetheless, it must not have been difficult to set up because they did it without me and have had no trouble since. If you're looking for a way to play xbox 360 online and don't want to pay the 100 dollars, this is great. The boys have had no complaints and I'm pretty sure it has like a three year warranty- which may be better than the xbox component. Thanks!

Ordered this on June 22 and had it in my hands on the 24th. Plugged it into my laptop, ran the setup disk, configured it and then plugged it into my Dish Network VIP 622 receiver and I'm now online with Dish. Price is right too!

It literally took me 5 minutes to hook it up to my Directv for downloading "On Demand" programming. Just push the buttons on the adapter and router and it connects in a few seconds to my Trendnet router. Thanks, as it was impossible with the Linkskys router.

bought this instead of the $99 XBox 360 network adaptor....and works great. little tricky to setup since you cannot access through the 360, but just hooked it directly to my router, ran the setup disc, found my wireless signal no problem, finished setup, unplugged everything and walked it over to the 360 and it works great. reccommended. BTW, it is MUCH smaller than it appears here. about the size of a pack of cards.

I first saw this product on Newegg and it seemed like a solid item for quick, wireless connectivity. When I found it on here, it was $20 less! Almost all computers now have ethernet ports and the that came with this adapter worked flawlessly on my custom-built vista x64 rig. I'm so glad that my network is moving away from 802.11g and onwards to 802.11n. With wireless speeds of up to 300mb/s, this product packs a powerful punch in a tiny price.

Awesome performance for the price range. Haven't dropped signal yet. Streams Netflix seamlessly. Just as fast as my wired connection. Took a call to their tech support to set up, as the wizard supplied on the CD doesn't work for every type of install. Once I got it recognizing my network it worked like a charm.

Hello - I guess I am the first person to post a review. I ordered this wireless router so I could access Direct TV Ondemand service. Although DTV pushes the Linksys adapter, Trendnet is almost half the price and works just as well. The best feature about this product is the WPS (wireless protected setup) feature that allows you to connect to your home network with the touch of a button. Your router has to support WPS - but this made set up a breeze. It literally took me less than 5 minutes this up and I was on my way to downloading movies. I highly recommend this product. With a 3 year parts and labor warranty, you have nothing to lose.
