Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:-I agree wholeheartedly, this is an ugly colour. Why orange man, why??-On the expensive side for just a fan

Pros:-Quiet-Moves a lot of air for the noise level
Comment:
Silence was of utmost importance in a budget rig I threw together; this did not disappoint, and I don't think this is going to disappoint you either. This one -quality- fan, albeit an expensive quality fan, but it was well worth it for the amount of noise it actually makes. Inside a case it's silent, and it's still whisper quiet when there's absolutely no ambient background noise.Could we produce this fan in black though, Nexus!? Thank the lord you can't really see it a lot in the computer's current location.

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:Doesn't come with any screws

Pros:This is the perfect fan
Comment:
I put two of these into my Antec Sonata (replaced the rear 120 mm that came with the Sonata because it died on me). These fans are completely silent (a rarity) and are nearly perfect. Only thing is, they don't come with any screws (and require very very long screws to mount onto your case). I didn't have any of these screws, so I just tied them onto my case with plastic zip ties, and that works just fine too!Buy two, because you won't be disappointed

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:orange?

Pros:QuietPushes a lot of air120mm
Comment:
Apart from the fact that this fan is orange, it is a great one. A great 36.87Cfm for a really quiet 22.8dba makes this fan the best friend for the silence freak wanting ever more airflow in their case.

Pros:Quiet and attractive

Top quality fan, very quiet and an excellent buy for the money. This product was the final piece in my quest for the silent PC. The difference from the standard case fan to this Nexus unit is amazing.

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:OrangeExpensive

Pros:Really quiet, smooth operationUndervolts nicely
Comment:
This is probably the best quiet 120mm fan you can buy that's widely available. You need to get really close to it to hear the noise it generates, and the noise itself is very smooth, not whiney or irregular. Also undervolts very nicely - it has an amazingly low low startup voltage (around 2-3V). It's quiter than the Coolermaster UV/LED and the SilenX.I can't give it a perfect score though, because orange is fugly, and it's quite expensive. Oh and FYI, for installation on some heatsinks like the XP-120, you'll need to mod the fan by cutting the corners so that it's open-flanged. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-27-05 07:51 PM

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:None.

Pros:Quiet at 12v. Virtually silent at 5v. Moves a decent amount of air(at 12v).
Comment:
Hands down the best fan I've ever had that balances air flow and silence. At 12v there is no motor noise, only a slightly audible "whoosh" that can barely be heard at distances greater than 1m. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-21-05 03:16 PM

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:Unattractive orange colour.

Pros:Exceedingly quiet, seems to be of outstanding quality.
Comment:
I'm using this fan on the drive cage of my Antec Sonata tower. From 3 feet, this fan is silent. I bought it while on sale for $13. The colour is something of a drag if you have a colour scheme within your case. The design of the fan prevents it from being installed on an xp120 without modification.

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:Okay colorHave to mod if you want to fit it on Thermalright XP-120

Pros:Very quiet!Good price (if it's on sale)
Comment:
I am always looking to try quiet fans. This fan does not disappoint. It is probably the best I got. I used to have many fans like Noiseblocker S2 80mm (overall, it's okay & nice colors), Enermax 120mm (fan control, fairly quiet) & Vantec Stealth (not so good, avoid it!), Zalman 92mm (overall, it's good), Evercool aluminum 80mm (overall, it's good).I think I can safely say that the fan is close from being perfect (the color is okay.. it's darker than on the picture). Go ahead, buy one if quiet PC is your thing!

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:Haven't found any yet.

Pros:Fan is VERY quiet and moves a lot of air.
Comment:
The fan installed very easily in the intake spot in an Antec SLK3700AMB case and is a lot quieter than the Antec fan that comes with the case. The orange colour is different but then I didn't buy this fan to look at I just wanted something quiet that moves air, which it does very well. I experienced a 2 degree Celsius drop in CPU idle temperature over an old 120mm startech fan I was using. Under load my average CPU temps are down about 3 degrees Celsius. I am very happy with this product.

Cons:nothing, has all you need in a fan

Pros:silentmoves a fair amount of air into my case
Comment:
at a good decent price you get a very well designed fan...use this as an intake fan and dont regret getting it, basically a lil whisper addition in noise, although i have a panaflo 103cfm which makes way more noise lol, looking for quiet, this works well

Cons:none

Pros:Very QuietNO LEDsCool Orange Colour120mm
Comment:
Well what can I say? These fans are quieter than the Panaflo L1A at the same voltage. And despite what some poeple will say about the colour being something to be desired, I'll have to disagree. Orange is no different than clear green or rainbow. Also, the lack of LED's is nice because I have no window to see tham anyway. The only downfall is that they take a while to get, but definately well worth the wait

Nexus 120MM Real Silent Case Fan Orange 1000RPM 22.8DBA 36.87CFM 3/4PIN
Cons:- the orange... love it or hate it- doesn't start up reliably at 7v or under- not a ton of CFM

Pros:- best 120mm silent fan on the market- quiet at 12v, silent at 9v- includes RPM monitor cord and 3/4 pin Molex plugs
Comment:
AWESOME fan. I use these in my PCs that are designed for silence and they are simply the best. SilentPCReview.com agrees and has these as the most recommended 120mm fan.At first I didn't like the orange, but I'm not one to pick out parts based on looks. This fan is perfect for applications that need a medium amount of airflow but where silence is appreciated. I've compared this to the SilenX, Vantec "Stealth", and Antec and the Nexus won in every size.. 120, 92, and 80. The only weakness is that the 120mm doesn't start reliably at 7v or less.. however there really isn't a need since you can barely tell it's on at 9v. There is only a slight air movement noise- no clicking, no whining, nothing else.
