It lets the electrons flow. My energy provide only had two SATA connectors, but I necessary three, so I bought one particular of these poor boys. Now I've got two SATA HDs and a SATA DVD drive AND an extra SATA power connector just in case. Not a negative deal imo. Would have been wonderful if it had been sleeved, but whatev, it's a power connector.

works as expected none, Personally, I couldn't use it although since my SATA HD is flush to the side of my case, requiring me to use a proper angle connector.

Takes 1 and makes it two...haha. Operating two 1.5 TB drives in a Raid 1, not problems with power at all. (both are green drives) none i recomment, quick fix to the difficulty.

popped it in, plugged it into my power supply and into my DVD drive, works like it really should. none? its a cable so it ought to function fine. Only utilized 1 of the ends,but i'm certain it'll work fine when I get a second hard drive to test the other out.

This was great for allowing me to have a second tricky drive and still keep my dvd burner powered from the sata plug coming off my thermaltake power supply. It must come normal with challenging drives that have the SATA energy and not the common power plug. Turned off the power, grounded myself, popped open the package, and installed it in about five minutes. Powered back up and shazaam, the computer system now has two tricky drives working together. Absolutely nothing much more to it. I highly recommend this as an accessory to have even though you could not have SATA however. It will be incredibly beneficial in the future as laptop or computer companies switch over to SATA, and you want to add an additional difficult drive or dvd drive.
