Noctua NF-B9-1600 Case Fan
Cons: -Colour

Pros: -Silent-Cheap-Comes with Lots of Extra Stuff
Comment:
Why are these fans so ugly? LOL. Lucky I have no side window. Had to open my case again just to see if it was running. That's how quiet it is. My other fans make more noise. Using this to cool 5 green drives.

This is one of my favourite fans of all time, and I have tried a lot. I am fanatical about making my pc as quiet as possible and these noctua fans are some of the best available for that purpose.

Cons: Cost

Pros: QuietQualityGood airflowRubber mounts and noise adapters included
Comment:
These are great fans, and I have always been happy with them. They are extremely quiet and still move good amounts of air, the build quality on them is second to none. Colour might not be for everyone, but I don't mind it. It's nice to have the rubber mounts included, and the noise adapters but I don't know who would use them.

Noctua NF-B9-1600 Case Fan
Cons:Cost.

Pros:Inaudible when using one of the resistor inserts. Quiet at full speed.
Comment:
Bought this to use with a Thermalright HR-03 GT. It provides adequate airflow with low noise at full speed and inaudible noise at slower speeds. Also, the noise it does make at full speed isn't intrusive at all. What I mean by this is that although I can hear it, it's a type of noise that can easily be ignored.

Noctua NF-B9-1600 Case Fan
Cons:Somewhat pricey.

Pros:Quiet, just as advertised.
Comment:
Noctua has a reputation of making excellent fans, and this one does live up to it. Used it with a Thermalright VGA heatsink to silence a noisy Sapphire 4830. Temps are lower than stock cooling and the noise is gone. A great buy.

Noctua NF-B9-1600 Case Fan
Cons:A little high on the price part, but its quality is worth every cent spent.

Pros:Very quite operation, great amount of air flow.Different speeds/noise levels with different cables.Rubber compensators to reduce vibration.
Comment:
I have long heard of Noctua's reputation for great fans, and this one has showed me what a difference it can make. My old sleeve 80mm is giving up the ghost, and is just not pushing as much air as it used to be, and is getting louder. The NF-B9's sso-bearing is unlike anything I know before, is better than the already efficient double-ball bearing that we see most of time, this design reduces noise and push the product life even further. The noise at 1600rpm is not very noticeble, since my graphic card is having a louder fan, and NF-B9 is just as quite as it is not there. The vibration is non-exist for a backcase mouting, the rubber compensator provided can be used on HDD or CPU cooling, if you decide to DIY. The speed reduce cable will come very handy if you want a really quite PC,as it can greatly reduce nosie with minimal performance lose. Overall it is a really worthy investment to have, the 19$ may discourage you at first, but its quality ensures that it can stay operational for a really long time, therefore if you decide to switch rigs this investment will be carried over again and again.

Noctua NF-B9-1600 Case Fan
Cons:a colour range would be nice

Pros:Quiet, easy to install
Comment:
I got 4 of these to go on two Thermalright T-rad2, they've worked quite well. The only problem I've had is my computer sustained a significant knock and one of the fan blades shattered. As the factory is in Europe, and I live in western Canada, the shipping charges would be excessive compared to the cost of a new one, so I've had to order another.Having installed the new fan, it`s working and cooling beautifully. The other 5 noctua fans I have in my system continue to work without fault. This review was modfied by poster n 07-18-09 03:46 PMI submitted an RMA request on Noctua's main site to see what they would do, and two weeks later I got a fan in the mail for free, they shipped it from Austria nonetheless. I was blown away with this service. This review was modfied by poster @ 08-15-09 08:21 PM

Noctua NF-B9-1600 Case Fan
Cons:Not easy on the eyes, $$$$$$

Pros:Quite, lots of options for power and mounting, long sleeved tails
Comment:
I have 4 of these fans on my 9800gt cards with the T-rad2. They are very quit and keep the cards nice and cool. I was close to 90C (under load) with the stock heat sink and fan, now the cards aren't breaking 50C under load. I was able to price match these fans down to about half price so keep your eyes out for deals and have NCIX price match it.

Comment:
Exept for the price these are an excellent case fan and are of excellent quality. I paid around $18 bucks for mine, but you pay for quality and after having 2 of them cooling the inside of a silverstone gd1 htpc case for a bit I can tell you I feel i made an excellent cooling investment.

Pros:Lo noise adapter, high static pressure, quiet
Comment:
Do what marketing dept. says, it's quiet, push good amount of ait through my T-Rad2 fins. L.N.A and U.L.N.A give a good choice of RPM to meet your project requirements. But they are ugly, but efficient....i'll buy again even if they are ugly

I replaced all my other 120mm fans with Noctua (including the CPU fan) and the only thing left were my 92mm fans. After I replaced the 92mm with these, my computer is dead quiet! I can now actually hear my hard drives and while gaming the video card fan.

Cons:Does not move a lot of air, quite expansive, no PWM feature

Pros:It is relatively quieter than other 92mm fans, anti vibration pins are very handy
Comment:
I use this fan to cool my video card. you can use a fan controller to control its speed, or use the resistors included with the fan to permanently lower the speed. However I am not really impressed about it's performance for the price.

Pros:quietquiet
Comment:
I bought this for the Ultima-90, it's quieter than my chipset fan and video card fan, they are running at almost full speed. it comes with screws, push pins and connectors for molex and 3pins. But it's not cheap. But then I'm not cheap neither.
