Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:Funky aesthetics (because of the color), really not a bad thingHigh price, which is to be expected of a high quality product

Pros:QuietSeems to move air wellHigh quality is apparentPlenty of extra hardware such as screws, silicon mounting grommets, cable adapter
Comment:
Bought two to work with a Swiftech H220 liquid CPU cooler, love them. They are very quiet and seem to work well. I can't honestly vouch for performance as I haven't compared them to other fans, but they seem to work well. CPU is ice cold if you're wondering, but I don't think that really means anything about the fans. They have an odd color, doesn't quite fit in with my build as they are slightly visible from the top and are mounted in a black case with blue led's, but whatever. I really don't mind.Bottom line is these are very quiet and high quality, if you don't mind the price and the color then these fans will work well for you. 4 stars because they are brown and expensive, but that's 5 for you if you like brown and don't care about cost.

Bought these fans to replace the stock corsair fans on the H100i. Very satisfied with the Noctua Fans, they are quieter and perform better. Also, each fan comes with many accessories, pwm splitter, low rpm adapter and pwm cable extender. Useful accessories to have included with the fans!

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:Not cheap. But I can't count this as a Con, since I bought it knowing the price

Pros:Very silentVery good packageSomehow good looking, better than expected
Comment:
What can I say that hasn't been already said ? Noctua is one if not the best for silent fans. Their fan have a very good performance/silence ratio. I bought this fan to pull cold air from the front on my case. Because I had a filter and a not very cooling-friendly case, I decided to get a high pressure fan. The NF-F12 does the job very good compared to my old Coolermaster h 4$.I'm sold to Noctua now...unfortunately. These fans are quite expensive, but they are worth it !If you want a high pressure fan, go for it.

Cons:Colour schemePrice

Pros:QuietSolid buildMoves a lot of airExcellent accessories included in boxGreat packagingPWM functionality
Comment:
I purchased this fan on sale for $19 and at that price it was an absolute steal. I'm using it as a pull fan to work with the existing NF-F12 that came with my NH-U12S CPU cooler. It's very quiet and doesn't need to spin up at all. The accessories included are very complete and I'm actually using the L.N.A (Low-noise-adapter) on an older 3-pin Scythe fan to keep it in check. The weight of the fan and all of the little molded details speak to the quality of the part and it's definitely doing it's job as a high static pressure fan.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:-Expensive-Color scheme may not be for everyone

Pros:-Great Performance and quiet noise levels-Quality build right down to packaging and accessories
Comment:
I bought this fan for a CPU cooler(which this model seems more specifically geared towards) and have been completely happy with it. It achieves better performance than my stock fan at lower rpm's and noise levels. The build and quality is evident from the rubberized corners to reduce vibration to the included, sleeved adapters and rubber mounts. This is obviously a premium fan but it has the quality and performance to back it up. Recommended!

Comment:
I hummed and hawed over this purchase to be used as case fans. In the end I bought 5 of them for case fans. 2 front intake and 3 exhaust. I have very tight grills on my case (Bitfenix Ghost)which is why I went with these fans. Avg. temp at motherboard in my case is 20-21C. These are great fans with great build quality. Picked them up on sale for 19, they arent worth more than that so price shop or buy them on sale.

Cons:Still not silent with low voltage cable.Color.

Pros:Quiet fans.Very close to silent with the low voltage cable.Plenty of airflow.
Comment:
The fans have worked perfectly for 6 months, I have found the extra included cables to be very useful. The fans a very high quality and feel very sturdy. I am using them in replacement of stock fans on a Swiftech h220 and they perform better and give lower temperatures for less noise overall than the stock fans.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:-All 3 I bought seem to have the bearings and/or fan rotation making slight mosquito noise from them, can't hear it unless you're really close though, but could be a problem if you're close to your case. -The grate over the front of the fan is much thicker than the previous 120mm gen. Despite the grates streamlining it's still too thick and creates unecessary resistance (the last gen had thinner grate) -Obviously expensive

Pros:-Relatively silent-Much cheaper on pm-Noctua is still the best silent fan on the market despite its flaws
Comment:
Relatively silent, but not as silent as the previous 120mm 1500rpm's gen which I also have. Still a good fan but make sure you pricematch them ($42 almost seems like a site error). Not as impressed with these as I was with the previous gen, pick up the others if you can. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-29-13 08:13 PM

Comment:
Great fan installed it on front intake of Corsair 550D. Bought only one at $22.99 was worried it might not fit but fit in just barely. Snug fit but with that anti vibration rubber pads can't hear or notice any vibration. Great fan not sure if it's worth the cost only time will tell but from my experience with Noctua. It will be.

Comment:
I built a computer for audio recording and put a Noctua fan in the power supply just because linus said they were quiet and I didn't like the color, So I did that and fell in love with it, I liked the color it was quiet and felt quality, so I ordered 2 of these to replace the bitfenix pros and they easily out shine them.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:Color...lol

Pros:Typical Noctua Excellence. Performance, Quality, Warranty
Comment:
Replaced stock fan on an older H-50. Temps dropped by 2-3 at idle with reduction of fan speed from 1400 to 1000 rpm. This is a quiet, well built fan. It comes with lots of cabling accessories. Buying Noctua fans is a long term investment that pays off in the end, as they will probably outlast your PC, and can be moved to the next.

Pros:quiet in actual usegood pressuregood throughputvery nice speed variability
Comment:
I'm running 2 of these on my H70, and aside from when I'm messing with the fans, or running an all out burn test on the CPU the fans never actually go to full speed. on idle and for most use, it's entirely inaudible.heavy gaming makes them spin up a bit, but it's still barely a hum.

Noctua pretty much well makes the best fans on the market today. If they made fans 200mm and larger, I'd only use Noctuas in my HAF X case. Read some online gossip that they'll be making black fans soon too.
