Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:- Color scheme

Pros:- Really quiet (It's quieter than my vga fans)- Comes with an extension cable + splitter- Pushes air really well- Works as advertised
Comment:
Great fan. I got 4 of them pm'd to 20$ each (the best I could find at time time) to use for my 480 rad. It really is silent as people say and the only time I could hear it is when I put my ear right next to the fan.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:None

Pros:Very quiet for the amount of air being pushed, zero vibration, zero bearing noise, focused flow is no gimmick.
Comment:
There are many reviews online written by NF-F12 owners which state that the fan is annoyingly loud and does not push much air. I have no idea where their claims are coming from, but I'm pretty certain it's because they're using the fan as a push fan, for example on the back of a radiator pushing out through the rear of the case. This fan is designed as a push fan, which is why it has this focused flow system in the first place. I've been using GT's AP-15 fans for as long as they've been out and though they're amazing radiator fans, they're quite loud. What I love about the NF-F12 is, since I've always been using a rear intake fan config for my radiator as the back of my tower is close to my window, I've noticed push temps are significantly lower than pull exhausting out the rear. Therefore, the NF-F12 is perfect for me.I can't comment on the amount of air it pushes, but my idle temps have actually dropped 1-2 degrees, have not tried load temps yet.Long story short, the NF-F12 moves the same, if not more air than the GT AP-15, long crowned as the best radiator fan of all time, at a significantly lower rpm therefore leading to significantly less noise.Seriously, these fans are QUIET. Just make sure you're using them as push fans, NOT pull.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:- Expensive

Pros:- Quiet- Very High Quality- 4 Pin Connector- Rubber Dampening (To Prevent Vibrations)
Comment:
Noctua doesn't recommend push/pull because of the way it's designed. You will get a whistling sound in push/pull with this on a rad.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:Regular price

Pros:Quiet motorVirtually no vibration
Comment:
Using this fan in a push/pull setup on my Hyper 212.I have owned the older 3 pin NF-P12's for a few years now. These have a similar sound profile, without the faint howling noise the P12's would emit at certain rpm ranges. I think I prefer the sound of the P12 over the F12 when run full speed however. The included accessory's like the sleeved extension, splitter and low noise adapter are a nice touch.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:None

Pros:Runs silentComes with rubber mounts, screws, extenstion cables and pwm y-cable
Comment:
I got 2 of these on sale for $20 each. Well worth the price. It includes all the necessary hardware needed to have a push/pull config with only 1 pwm fan header on the motherboard. The included y-cable is great. But it also includes rubber mounts, mounting screws and 2 extension cables. The rubber corners on the fan can also be removed.I can't think of anything to say except that they do an okay job at cooling in push/pull with no audible sound generated from them. In push/pull config they cooled my OC'd i5-3570k to the same degree as a much noisier (ie. very loud) single push fan with higher RPMs. I have them mounted on a Scythe Mugen 2 REV.B Cooler. The Noctua fans are definitely silent and not audible (which I prefer).Definitely well worth it.

Bought 2 to do a Push-Pull configuration on my Hyper 212, Tested it full load and it was practically silent but still had great temps, the only 2 fans I could hear were my GPU and front 200m intake. Definitely worth the money

Pros:SO QUIET, great build quality!
Comment:
I was VERY skeptical buying these fans. I'd seen the videos that Linus had done and others on youtube but was still unconvinced at how quiet they could be. I stopped in the Vancouver store and grabbed 4 after work the other night. Using 2 on my H80 liquid cooler and 2 others for case cooling. I increased my fans in my case and the noise has gone to almost ZERO. The loudest thing in my rig now is my 7970!

Pros:high quality
Comment:
Im using these fans in push/pull on my Antec h20 920, at low and medium speed i cant even hear them, but on high speed, they get very noisy, maybe cause of the push/pull configuration ?I wish the NF-P14 would have some rubber pads as these.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:- Price- Not as much airflow, but that's not what they're meant for

Pros:- Super quiet- High-pressure for tight heatsinks- Highest quality packaging with all the extras you might need
Comment:
These fans may be costly, but you'll thank yourself after realizing how well they perform along with how little noise they make. On top of that, they are of the highest quality including all the extras that come packaged with it (even the packaging itself is high-quality).Overall, I would absolutely recommend these fans. They do their job very well, and you'll never hear them. For heatsinks, these perform incredibly well.

These Noctua fans are great. They are very quiet and move lots of air through the system. Have replaced all the fans in my case with Noctua ones and the noise level of my system has gone way down.If you are able to use 120mm fans in your case this is the one to get.

Cons:Colour scheme may not please all

Pros:Quiet, Cooler, various cables
Comment:
I have these in a push/pull configuration and they do not disappoint. They are much quieter than the stock h50 fan. The included PWM Y cable is handy for people who don't have a lot of motherboard connectors. You can't really go wrong with Noctua as their fans are really the best.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:- color scheme

Pros:- low noise- lots of bundled accessories
Comment:
I bought a pair of these to go with my Corsair H80 and I realized that while the fans are pretty silent when used separately, on the H80 in push-pull they are loud due to the turbulence caused by the push fan on the radiator. To reduce the noise I had to plug the fans directly onto the motherboard (using the conveniently provided Y-adapter) and control the fans with software.

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:-mediocre cfm-expensive

Pros:-Good quality-sleeved cables-extension and splitter cables included-quiet
Comment:
Bought these because Scythe Gentle Typhoons are not available in my area and there are "glowing reviews" here for them. Well, they are a very nice quiet fan but just like all Noctua fans, they still do not put out enough cfm. I guess I will have to stockpile the GT's for future builds, they are as quiet as Noctuas and push much more air. Only 3 stars from me, mostly because of the build quality, not for the performance

bought two of these to do push and pull on my H60 for my 1060t. the temperature went down by at least 9 degrees from before, when i only have one noctua p12 on them. now it idles around 24 degrees, and lowest it ever reached is about 19 degrees i think.other than the price, which is $20 each, this fan is highly recommended, especially when doing push and pull!

Noctua NF-F12 PWM 120MM Ultra Quiet Cooling Fan 300-1500RPM 93.1M3/H 22.4DBA 4-PIN PWM
Cons:None

Pros:QUIETExcellent air flowQuality buildpeople may say these are a bit expensive but no other fans below the price of this fan offer what this fan does
Comment:
I had a h50 with Scythe fans configured for push/pull. I thought they did a decent job of cooling the rad expect for the damn noise. I had to use speedfan to reduce the fan speed to 45% to be able to live with the fan noise in my room and this is with ah Fractal R3 case which is one of the silent cases out there. I purchased these fans for the same push/pull config and the CPU temp. dropped by 6C' and the noise level has dropped dramatically. I now leave my fan at 80% when im not doing anything hardcore but even at 100% these fans are so quiet that it doesn't bother me any more. I would recommend this fan to anyone who wants great CPU cooling with low low low low noise. I did think $20 is a bit too much for a fan but now I have them and used them, it's totally worth it and plus you can use these fans for a very long time so....highly recommend it
