Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound
Cons:Never seems to ship for free

Pros:Its thermal compoundIts on sale
Comment:
I used to use Arctic Silver products, but it hasn't gone on sale in quite some time. This went on sale for $4 so I tried it out and did a comparison with a breadboarded mobo/cpu (Intel 640X2). Both brands of thermal paste brought the temperature down the same amount (4C) from a non-greased chip with stock sink under full load/spin.Therefore I'm no longer brand loyal. It appears to me that aftermarket thermal compound is all similar, regardless of if it's got silver, gold, uranium, whatever, in it.(So far it's been keeping an FX-6100 very cool at idle, around 42C, 77C at heavy load).

Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound
Cons:- None that I know of!

Pros:- Easy to use- Large container- Great price for performance
Comment:
Used to use AS5 - it was good. This is slightly better in that it feels a bit 'thicker', is easy to use and apply, and you get a solid amount for the dollar. Look for it on sale ($4?) and you've got some top-end compound that will last a few years.

Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound
Cons:nope :)

Pros:No cure time. Easy to apply with instructions on the package. It does it's job. Lots of applications per tube.

Since I used this to repair a friend's overheating 3 year old laptop that would refuse to even run through booting without overheating, I don't know exactly how much the thermals improved. Assuming the laptop was hitting Tmax of 105 degrees before, after using this compound I was able to run the laptop at full power maxing out at 96 degrees. This was also after I cleaned the fan input and output which were caked with dust so the drop  in temperature is not 100% attributed to changing the paste but I'm sure it helped. I also used it on my laptop and it worked awesomely. :)

It has fantastic reviews but it took so lengthy to get to my house that I just purchased a shop purchased box. I am sure that I will do my new create soon and use it then, but waiting two weeks seemed a bit also extended for me. Note that it wasn't shipped from Newegg Way slow shipping, employed international media mail, I'll let you know how properly it performs immediately after I do my construct.

Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound
Cons:Comes out a little quickly

Pros:Easy to apply, clean applicator
Comment:
Works great, and no cure time is nice. Cleans up easily too if you have to remove your cooler. My only complaint is the applicator could have a slightly smaller orifice, so you could more easily apply a smaller amount.

The thermal compound functions excellent! I have my i7-920 clocked at 4Ghz with my Noctua U12P and and it keeps my CPU below 40C Idle and beneath 65C with Prime95! This stuff has been established to be superior the Arctic Silver! None Got this stuff included with my Noctua NH-U12P - Excellent Cooler. I applied the grain strategy for applying it - worked wonders.

Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound
Cons:None.

Pros:- Has never solidified on me(3+years of use).- Easy to work with.- Easy clean up.
Comment:
I have used NT-H1 exclusively for over 3 years now. I have never has this compound solidify and thermal transfer stays relatively constant like most high end compounds. It is extremely easy to work with and wipes up easily with a little alcohol.I highly recommend this thermal compound to anyone with an emphases on my fellow gamers.

Comment:
I've by no means seen a CPU run this cool. Immediately after applying and starting up it got as low as eight deg C. I can't wait to see how significantly I'll be capable to overclock my 7750. Also applied it to my ATI 4670 and dropped the load temp by about 6 deg C. Kinda pointless although considering that I've got an ATI 5850 on the way, hope it does as good a job on it. none Acquire THIS STUFF!!!!!

Comment:
Rated as the incredibly ideal thermal paste all round in performance across the world wide web (no cure time). Worked excellent and gave 2c-3c better cooling at higher heat loads than the other name brand paste that came with the heat-sink I purchased.. Not overly thick at all easy to perform with. Only บ.. Fees money?

Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound
Cons:None so far

Pros:Easy applicatorCap seals well for storageReduced idle temperature
Comment:
I received this product today and applied it to my CPU/Heatsink following the instructions on the box. The temperatures went down from 44 degrees to 32 degrees when idle. Although, I admit the old thermal paste was very poorly applied. For 5 dollars the tube seems like I'll get another 4-5 applications out of it. Great value.

This paste rocks! from an idle 45- 50 *c to and idle of 40 *c (and along with a new heat sink 32*c lowest fan speed) this has extended the life of my CPU and my GPU. excellent job guys well, this could have been my fault and i hate when people blame the product because of their error but.....the paste dried inside the major of the tube (in the cap i guess) and the cap would not come off, i had to take pliers the the sucker to remove it and now i have no cap none

Bought this to replace the stock compound already applied on the CPU cooler. Really helps the Phenom X4 965 BE as it runs hot as it is. Checked many reviews and the NT-H1 is one of the best.

Comment:
Noctua NT-H1 Thermal CompoundThis is the compound I've been seeking for. Not paste and not runny glop. Simple to measure out a 4mm "Hershey Kiss" on the cooler hotplate, move it about and you're in organization. Being non-conductive, I don't worry altering coolers that I could fry anything. I could, but not simply because of the NT-H1. Also extremely a lot like the twist on cap for the compound syringe, uncomplicated to grasp. Lowered temps on my CM V8 by three to 5C more than my former compound... a rather preferred one particular with silver in its name. No evidence that a set-up time is necessary. A tiny pricey, but can't complain about the performance. You can take a product so far and I can be pleased with this for a long time to come.

every person has their own opinion on thermal paste, but my preference is this noctua!! In my past encounter arctic silver holds heat down just as very good but comes off like clay, this stuff goes on smooth, wets the surface and comes off just as easy as it did going on. none.
