OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:none

Pros:4GB, Stable
Comment:
I purchased 2 dual channel kits to replace a blown ram chip and could not be any happier with my purchase. My board took a little bit of fine tuning to recognize the 2 dual channel kits but after some fine tuning on the timing, it amazed me at the difference it made. It is the most stable ram I have ever used. Great buy .

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:The MIR never worked . and I can't be bothered to fight it. I'm not sure how much money it was, but no biggie.

Pros:Fast ram, always liked OCZ
Comment:
Well this is it, Cheap 4gb ram kit that works great. Im on XP 32 bits so it doesnt see all 4 gb. But I knew that when I purchased. So far I havent had a problem. I havent tried overclocking it but I eventually will give it a try.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:It's not 1066?

Pros:Great price, reliable, take on good timings at stock and slight overclock from what I seen.
Comment:
This stuff works a treat. I currently have 8GB installed into my 780i board with Vista 64 and it works excellent and I see all 8GB. Not much else to say, I mean it's RAM, just does one job and doesn't really have "features" to talk about. If your aiming at extreme overclocks look at DDR2-1066 or higher. Don't expect to be able to hit that from this module (though I have read reports on forums of hitting 1060 rangeish. One other note, don't be buying the whole crap nVidia SLI ready rating. It does nothing in reality. It is not an indicator of Mobo/RAM compatibility, that is determined (to my knowledge) from other factors such as the chip inside the module. The only reason I picked up the nVidia SLI variant of this RAM was because it was on instant sale and 10 bucks less than the standard stuff. Other than price, don't bother with the nVidia labelled RAM.That's about it, this gets 5 stars for being everything I need. Except maybe for magically turning into 1066, it doesn't dissapoint.NOTE: If you doubt my need for 8GB of RAM, take note that Vista x64 is currently using 2750 MB of my RAM IDLING! That's almost 3GB doing nothing, I don't regret my purchase of two of these models. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-27-08 09:39 AM

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:doesn't overclock very well

Pros:Solid construction, nice heat sync's, good speed and size
Comment:
4gb of DDR 800 doesn't get much better than this! Timings worked right off the bat, they look pretty and work well. Only thing I would say is if you are planning on overclocking your CPU maybe DDR-1066 would be a better idea, as these don't overclock very well.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:None that I can think of

Pros:It's OCZ and is super stable
Comment:
We needed some good RAM for three builds in the office. Having used OCZ for every other build that I have done, I figured there was no reason to try something else. Why switch when everything is working great. The only issue: rebates. It takes OCZ quite a long time to process rebates, but you should never purchase a product looking at the after-rebate price since you might not get it.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:MIR

Pros:affordable, fast, pretty heatsink, run fine in 64bit Vista
Comment:
working fine in Asus P5K-E board with OCZ Platinum XTC 2x1Gb, total 6gb. I add in the 4 Gb without reset any bios setting and it works as expected. If you have trouble, goto OCZ forum to follow their settings. If you have 64bit Vista this is a must have, given the price there is no excuse not to use 4gb or more RAM.

Cons:hmm none? maybe timing is slow for gamers but I'm not one...

Pros:CheapShiny heat spreaders look cool
Comment:
I am just being greedy by getting this, although I have no need for 4Gb of ram (not like win xp 32bit can use it all). But with ram prices these days who cares. I'm not a gamer so timing doesn't really matter to me. Very happy.

Pros:MemorySpeedPrice
Comment:
I can only ultilize up to 3.5GB off these because I'm using 32 bit windows xp, until more firmware or updates that support 64bit I will definitely pick up another 4GB. So far it works well.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:- Typical OCZ marketing: SPD timing does not conform to the advertised numbers. Far from it. - Mediocre value/performance ratio

Pros:- Relatively good price - Acceptable overclockability- efficient packaging and nice ramsink- High voltage tolerance- Excellent warranty conditions
Comment:
Bought a set of these with the intention to run at stock, advertised settings. However, the advertised timings are far lower than that recorded in the SPD module. With a board without timing adjustment, I am stuck to run at the SPD timing, instead of the advertised timing. The advertised timing of CL5-4-4-15, according to OCZ, is not contained in the SPD module because many motherboards do not support the voltage requirement of having these timings. Thus, SPD timings are set at conservative value, requiring users to manually adjust the timing in accordance with voltage increase. However, the fact of the matter is, many other DDR2-6400 are capable of running CL5-4-4-15 and higher memory bus speeds with some sort of DIMM voltage increase. Being able to operate at CL5-4-4-15 with manual timing adjustment and higher voltage is nothing remarkable. Advertising these ram at CL5-4-4-15, but not being able to do so without manual timing adjustment, for argument's sake, is like AMD advertising their 64X2 4800+ at 3.2ghz. In order to run at the advertised speed, you'd need to manually overclock it.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:-stock timings could be tighter...

Pros:-excellent overclockers (see below)-one of the cheapest 2x2gb kits-warrantied up to 2.2v
Comment:
I bought these to upgrade my system to 4GB from a 2X1GB OCZ kit. So far I'm pretty impressed with their overclocking ability. My set topped out at DDR2-1064 5-5-5-18 r 2.2V (under warranty), which I think is pretty damn decent for a DDR2-800 kit. That's (almost) PC2-8500 for the price of PC2-6400.Based on my results, I think this kit is hard to beat for the money, but YMMV ;)

Hard to find a better deal on 4gb of ram (on 2 sticks) than these babies on sale. No compatibility issues with the ASUS P5K-E mobo, and rock steady with a mild overclock (850MHZ).

For the price, 4 gigs at dual channel is an incredible deal. I needed more RAM for vista and OCZ pulled through in that department. I'm impressed with how fast the timings are too, so games fail to lag whatsoever.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:-may have to change voltage in motherboard to run at proper timings

Pros:-Reputable brand-Nice heatsinks-dual channel
Comment:
Running Vista x64 in my new computer, I chose to go with 4GB over 2GB even though the price difference between the two was more than double. It was a wise decision as I multitask quite a bit with encoding videos, burning DVDs, playing games, music, and everything in between. Only weakness is that you may have to change the voltage of the ram in the BIOS to ensure that it is running at the specified timings. Otherwise, another solid product by OCZ.5/5

I bought some of those, and im pretty happy with it yet.The only bad thing i could say is that heatsink are pretty large and when put 2 of them, heatsink are touchting together on my motherboard because the ram slots are pretty close(sorry english not my native language)

Pros:Great price for 4 GB's. Sure increased my P4's performance. Nice and shiny to look at :-)
Comment:
Works great, and sure increased my P4's performance. When rendering videos, uses just a bit over 1 Gb Ram, leaving a whopping 3 Gb's free to do anything else I want on my Hyperthreading P4 computer without worrying about interrupting my rendering process.

Comment:
considerable faster than my 2 gig system (other components similar in both). Stable. Good Timings. Only reason I'd think twice about buying it again is the mail-in rebate. I tend to stay away from rebates, but i thought I'd give it a shot. Only have 20 days to mail it in after your purchase date. I missed the window.

I bought this for a new system as it's the best bang for your buck, nice CL timings compared to others at the same price, and when under 90$ it's a great deal. The system is a bit O/C and the ram runs very well. If you have to buy 4G i'd recommend that model.
