OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:-Has a mail in rebate

Pros:-Price-Looks good with the heatsinks
Comment:
This RAM works well for the price and the addition of heatsinks makes it look great as well. I ran memtest and have not found one error, I have not OC'd this RAM yet but others have done so without a problem, I would definitely buy this RAM again,in fact I did for a client. The timings aren't bad, and honestly, all these people complain about Vista being such a RAM hog, then buy some more, 4 GB for 88 bucks on sale! Years ago it would have been 10 times that price, literally.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:none to speak of.

Pros:Overclockable, stable
Comment:
Bought this for a friend of mine. His system (P5K, E6800 Duo), under Windows XP and Vista, both 32 bits, only sees 3 Gigabytes, "not 3.something"

i have used this ram in 2 build and it has worked flawlessly with gigabyte motherboards. great for a budget build which requires lots of memory. great for vista. overclocked to 450 from 400 with 0.1 voltage change

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:Vista 64 can take some hand holding :)

Pros:4GB really cheap when on sale.
Comment:
I added these to 2GB OCZ for 6GB total. Windows XP recognized 3.25GB right away and Vista 64 saw all 6GB after I booted into safe mode and re-installed the video card (updated the driver while I was at it). Since then haven't had any trouble.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:Had to down clock my tracers to effectively slightly under 800mhz as I am sitting at a high oc with a high differential between memclocks (cpu/6 and cpu/8)

Pros:Just Dropped in right beside my 2gb Crucial tracers and vista 64 on 6gb's worked just fine.
Comment:
So far great, am going to be selling my tracers, but wanted to try out Vista 64 in style, so I figured why not just add them. Haven't bothered overclocking ram much considering two very different kits in my 790fx board. But heck 6gb is a nice enough novelty right now. main point was that they function fine in my gigabyte GB MA790fx-DS5 sitting beside 2 x 1gb of pc2-8500 Crucial Tracers.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:Some boards may not work well with OCZ due to voltage restrictions.

Pros:Very Fast and stable memory!
Comment:
This ram is definitely a welcome addition to my new setup. I am using this with an Intel Bad Axe 2 motherboard and a quad core q6700 cpu. I was debating between this and Patriot 4gb ram but went with OCZ because of the reviews I was reading and because I've delt with OCZ for rma exchanges and they were great tow work with. This ram rocks and is completely stable!

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Cons:You really needs to bump the voltage to get advertised timings.

Pros:Fast RAM at good price. Looks great and shiny!
Comment:
I ordered this RAM because of the price/performance ratio, and was really satisfied with it. The PC booted instantly at a memory bus speed of 800mhz without any intervention on my part, but was running at CAS6. Couldn't get the computer to boot at anything faster until the voltage was bumped above 2V (the default is 1.8). Therefore, you should make sure your motherboard support this kind of feature if you intend to buy this ram for its advertised performance.

Cons:None

Pros:FastHeat spreader includedEasy setup
Comment:
This ram is working well in my system, only showing 2.75GB in 32 bit OSes, but that is a flaw with windows, not this ram. Eventually I will put Vista 64 on and remove that issue.Used in:E8400P5N-T DeluxeCM Stacker 832 Case.

Cons:timings could be faster

Pros:Quality, stable
Comment:
Running Vista 32 stock on P5K-E for one month without a crash. Have not tried to o/c but so far they run very stable in duel channel mode. For the price you can't go wrong. I would recommend these modules. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-10-08 04:31 PM

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory
Comment:
I have been trying to load the operating system for three weeks. I keep getting the screen that says to do away with TSR's, config.sys calls, and autoexec.bat calls as there is insufficient memory. I have tried both XP sp2 and Windows 98SE, with out of memory messages on both. (Working with 4 gig here, two of the PC6400 DDR2 800 Mhz Dimms) I have only a fresh Seagate hard drive, an older Plextor CD writer and no other peripherals attached. Nothing has been loaded that windows didn't put there in the attempot to load operating system. A call to OCZ generates, three days later, a message that says to disconnect all non essential peripheral items and take out one of the DIMMS (my granddaughter could have told me that, and I had already tried it). They make a big deal that the AWARD bios version 6 allows you to set the memory voltage at 1.8 volts. If so, I am unable to find where, but it looks like it is already set there. I think I am just out the $170 the memory cost me. Awful s

I guess it works fine. Durring boot up it's recognised as 4096mb (4gig) but in the sys properties says theres only 3gig's. Other than that it seems fine.
