I was owning a Vertex 2 drive which stopped working, I was really disappointed that my drive only lasted 9 month but after dealing with the amazing support of OCZ who replaced my drive in less than 3 days, and since I needed more space I have sold my Vertex 2 and buy this drive.Overall I'm really impressed althought you would need to have a good SATA3 controller, I had a Marvell 9128 Sata3 controller and was not able to get SATA3 speed, after some research, this marvell controller has lots of issue and cannot offer the speed that this drive need, so I've changed my board. Now I have amazing speed (400MB read and write) which is lightning fast !Support is good, speed is good. |

I continue to experience BSODs once every 1 to 3 days. Corsair has the same controller and have recalled their drives. OCZ maintains their hardware is different enough, hence no recall.I am in contact with support, their next step states I should update the firmware in the drive, perform a secure erase, and reinstall everything from scratch. Two months of software installs and update s wasted. Not what I expect to have to do when I purchase a new product – any other vendor would've replaced the drive by now. |

Well, this was my first SSD purchase, so I don't have anything really to compare it against. Having this as my system drive makes everything way faster, as I had expected. No more waiting for minutes after logon to be able to actually do things; it's all instant now! Considering the other SSDs that are out there, this one seemed like pretty good value.The drive came with firmware 2.06, and a week or so after I got it I started experiencing BSODs, which gradually became more frequent as the drive got used, eventually happening every day. Upgraded the firmware to version 2.09 fixed it, and there have been no issues since. |

Cons:None right now. Its only 5 days in. NO BSODS nothing like people have been reporting
Pros:Very Fast drive much needed. Boot times increased by at least 1minute if not longer. Migration was easy. I would suggest plugging it in then updating its firmware before installing any OS on it. Comment:
I have a p9p67 deluxe i5-2500k and it works perfectly. Bench tests are exactly if not higher then reported. Used a couple of softwares. Hopefully this thing does not die after 30 days. |

Pros:- Fast. Really Fast- No Compatibility Issues when installing it- You'll know if you have a poor one very quickly Comment:
Enjoyed the drive for the 3 days I had it. It started to freeze for half a minute at a time a couple of times a day over the last couple of days. Have also had a couple of other drives from this manufacturer fail, so reliability for me seems to be not that high. |

Cons:Had 5 BSODs in 2 days of testing the drive

Currently if you visit OCZ forums you will see there are people with ton of problems with new sandforce drives such as vertex 3 and agility 3. Constant BSODs freezes and such. I have had couple BSODs my self but generally it wasn't too bad. My drive still freezes everytime I run ATTO bench and sometimes that will give me BSOD too. OCZ is working around the clock to fix the issue that seems to be affecting older type of MB seems like. Support is really apriciated but its scary to know that you have a sketchy type of product. I am willing to wait for the new fix in firmware as I am on OCZ forums 24/7 now. Contacted NCIX about a return but they offer only 85% of the original price which is not a good option for me. |

Cons:No adapter (i didnt need one anyway). Pain in the butt to set up on my P8P67 Deluxe.
Pros:Fast, cheaper than Vertex 3 with no real world difference in speed (in load screens during gaming, video playback). Comment:
After tinkering I *think* its now working correctly. Did not detect on BIOS. Flashing to a new BIOS helped (1603). Still some issues with the 2.06 FW. Hoping it is fixed soon -1 star for that.Overall I am pleased with the drive. |

Purchased it with an instant rebate and MIR. The $20 MIR is really a $20 American Express gift card. There is also a $2 expedite fee if you want to receive it earlier than 8-10+ weeks. I hope I see the $18 gift card soon. Performance wise, it feels fast. But, this is my first SSD.In hindsight, from what I read, I should have waited & bought the Corsair Force Series 3 for a few bucks more. |
So far so good.Installed it, no problem, Win7 installed.Not a single problem, crash or BSOD.Granted, I did make sure my Bios was up to date, and AHCI was set, and the firmware on the drive was up to the latest 2.11 firmware, prior to installing Win7 on itUnfortunately my MSI board lied, and doesn't actually support fully the SATA3 speeds. At no fault to OCZ, but I'm getting full SATA2 speeds out of this thing and its amazing.
