OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Gold Low-Voltage Edition Triple-Channel Kit - 6.0GB
Cons:Don't buy it at this price ($168 as of Aug. 31), you can definitely price match.

Pros:Reliable, got it cheap ($99/set) and screaming fast.
Comment:
Bought this as part of my i7 build in June of 2009. There was a massive sale where I got 2 sets for $200, so my rig definitely can handle anything and everything. Sole recommendation: price match. NCIX's price is too high currently.

OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Gold Low-Voltage Edition Triple-Channel Kit - 6.0GB
Cons:- None

Pros:- Runs like it's supposed to- Looks pretty cool- Good timings- Bought it for cheap
Comment:
I bought this at another place for my new i7 build for about $90 after rebate and I am very happy with it. For the price, the speed and latency timings cannot be beat. I would recommend this to anyone moving into i7 processors.

Cons:none?

Pros:beautiful designgood pricegood performance
Comment:
used these modules in an i7 system and it works well and provides room for lots of overclocking. on top of that the design of the modules is quite pretty, the picture doesn't quite do it justice.

OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Gold Low-Voltage Edition Triple-Channel Kit - 6.0GB
Cons:None that I can think of!

Pros:Very fast and very well priced!
Comment:
It's the best RAM I ever had! I was able to get my CPU(i7 920) to work at 4 GHz with the stock frequency(1600)! It is also very well priced and it had $20 mail in rebate when I bought it!

Great RAM!
Comment:
I got this for my i7 setup so I could max out my board (was building a 7 year system). Overall it performs extremely well in all games and photoshop etc. I ran 2 sets of these on a P6T. It looks awesome in a blue lit case with the gold reflections.

Amazing product.
Comment:
For the price, the quality, stability and compatibility, this product is absolutely fantastic. Depending on your motherboard you should be able to configure the hell out of these. Using an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 I configured the voltage and timings in under a minute and these sticks perform flawlessly. The speed difference from my last build is incredible--I'll definitely buying OCZ memory from now on.

application swapping never been smoother
Comment:
12 GB... I run with Windows 7 Ultimate X64 and can have Pinnacle (rendering a movie), World of Warcraft, Half-Life 2 EP 2, Simcity4, everything at highest resolution possible running, and switching from one application to the other is no problem. I cant play more than one game at once :) but the performance is amazing.

OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Gold Low-Voltage Edition Triple-Channel Kit - 6.0GB

Pros:tight timings.good price.sexy looking.low power consumption.

I have a phenom 955 with these ram sticks.I used all 3.I'm running them in unganged mode. This means that each core is using one stick of ram. There honestly is no visible (i.e. w/o benchmarking. benchmarking will give you at most a 5% difference for either side, depending on the application) difference between ganged and unganged.I still would like to get an extra stick of ram eventually since then all 4 cores would get their own stick and I THINK it will improve performance. If not, It'll just gain an additional 2GB bandwidth.6GB>4GB.Keep that in mind. The difference you get by having 2 extra GB's is way more than dual/tri channel ganged/ungaged modes. One thing I would like to note is that the RAM will NOT run at rated speeds out of the box. You actually have to manually set it in the BIOS (no biggie).I made the mistake of changing the multiplier from 5.3x (5.3x200=1066MHz) to 8x (8x200=1600Mhz) without adjusting the latencies which resulted in BSOD (blue screen of death). So don't forget to increase the latencies. Or just give it a TINY voltage boost. This was a GREAT buy when it was on sale x 99.99$. Better than any dual channel kit I found.Cheers.

it's on fire!
Comment:
great RAM for the price, will run vista 64bit no problems, runs games great pretty much everything you can ask for in a starter system. these chips get very very hot though, burned a line in my hand running benchmarks on these after a 48hour @ 95% load test. I was so excited after seeing the results and went to swap them into my main computer without even thinking... intense pain.. little bit of swearing and i was fine.

I'm at 18GB of this memory already!!! I've used 12GB on my i7 and it was the only one to work well on the EVGA X58 board running my 920 @ 3.4 - 3.6 GHz!!! On my Q8200 on an Intel P45 board it is running perfect with 6GB and Vista 64bit. There was no Corsair to do the trick as this one did for a little over a hundred bucks!!! I love this one and it works just great. Highly recommended!!!

OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Gold Low-Voltage Edition Triple-Channel Kit - 6.0GB
Comment:
I used it on a Gateway FX6800 i7 machine, I brought 12 GBs worth and even though the latency is CL8 or something, the FX clocked it down to 7-7-7-18, which is slightly faster than the stock that the FX came with of PC3-8500 (1066MHz) at 7-7-7-20, thus I can tell a noticable speed improvement. Although, the FX speed locks it to 533 MHz not the 800 MHz the RAM is clocked at.

OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Gold Low-Voltage Edition Triple-Channel Kit - 6.0GB
Cons:None.

Pros:Fast latency for its class of product. Cheaper than competitors.
Comment:
Most other competing products list memory timings of 9-9-9-24 and yet the OCZ Gold runs at 8-8-8-24 while being generally much cheaper. I bought a kit 2 weeks ago on sale at $190 and now I'm picking up as second set at $110 (after $40 rebate). The heat spreaders aren't anything to look at, and don't even compare to those on my 5-year old OCZs, but since you'll likely be using this triple channel kit with a Core i7 with a low max voltage, they won't be getting very hot, anyway.

Not sure why the previous reviewer said this SDRAM is incompatible with the i7 chip -- it was designed specifically for x58 chipset/Core i7. Manually set your timings to 8-8-8-24 (per manufacturer's specs) and 1.65 volts in your BIOS, and voila. I am running this memory on an EVGA x58 MOBO with an i7 920, and it runs like a dream. Even under max load, memory usage stays below 4o%, and temperatures are reasonable. I am going to buy a second set to max my MOBO out at 12 GB.
