Well like the weakness says.. I got this pair of dual channel memory. That gives me a lot of trouble. Maybe is my luck but one of the pair is a bad RAM. I took it back to exchange a new pair and yet still one bad RAM. Unlike Buffalo and G.Skill. So far I don't have problem with those two. BUT! the MIR is really good. All of them returns! The RAM is pretty fast too. Too bad only one of them works. You just have to try your luck. |

With the MIR on these modules i dont know how OCZ can put out such a quality product so cheap over generic brands. The ram looks good, runs fast, offers affordability, my only complaint is it doesnt overclock well and sits to close to each other in the ram slots other then that its a great great buy. |

When i bout this, i didnt know what to look for in memory, if i cuold go back, i would have bought another kind (somethiing better at overclocking) but only for that reason. aside from that, very good ram, would probably buy again if i was building a non-overclocked build. If you want 4 gigs and you're not sure what to buy, this is probably a safe bet, it's working great for me. |

pretty good ram, got it on special and it's doing the job right, for basic usage, I don't OC, I'm sure there are better rams out there. But if like me, you're not ocing or gaming, then this ram is for you. Voltage requirement is too high for such ram, should me 1.8v. In conclusion OCZ makes great ram! |

OCZ has had cheapest DDR2 kits around for some time now with rebates, and this stuff beats out the generic value RAM offerings anyday.Always remember to run tests on memory, something like 5 or more passes of memtest86 just to be safe, I've had to RMA RAM in the past and OCZ is no exception. |

Really nice chips, excellent price. They sit a little too close for comfort to each other for me on my mobo though, there only seems to be a mm or two between the heatsinks. Not sure if that will cause any problems or if I'm paranoid, I'd blame that more on the mobo mind you :) |

I have this 2 x 2G for my new Compaq desktop 1.5 months ago at a very special offer of $50 after 30 dollars mail-in rebate.The original computer came with 1G memory that is running too slow with Window Vista.After installed with the 4G memory, the performance improved immediately. The heat sink helps dissipate the heat quickly and help the memory running in stable state even under over clocking.I have it for 1.5 months and didn't have any problem so far.Great RAM to but. |

Basically, this is a very good set of Ram. It provides all the performance you will need for the price. But be sure to get into your BIOS and set the voltage manually. When I first install them, I forgot to do that, and they kept giving me BSOD on my vista. But as soon as I set voltage to 1.9V, everything is OK. I really think they should print the voltage requirement on the box, not only on the stick. |

The moment I take this in your hands, you can see/touch the quality build. The memory worked right away with my asus mainboard, now I've got 2x1GB and 2x2GB for a total of 6GB of memory.. Time to install 64bit OS, otherwise you won't be able to use more than 3GB of memory, even under linux..The other two sticks are also ocz gold, so everything works just fine.. Too bad they ask for a rebate.. I hate it.. 3 stars, just because of the rebate. |

This memory rocks for the price ! Installation was easy, no problem with my Gigabyte Motherboard. No voltage or timing problem. The memory is not overheating. The only negative thing about this RAM is the timings at 5-5-5-18...but I was able to modify them in the BIOS. I got an 30$ MIR too ! NICE deal :D |
Very satisfied with the product. Was worth the price I paid for it while it was on sale and rebate meaning you can pick them up cheap and have good lasting RAM. It's a bit bulky though with the gold rim casing and close to each other on my mobo.I tried overclocking it and it can be done but I'd recommend not to rather then to do it for a long period of time.
