certainly does the job well, not much to say about itseems much sturdier than the SSD itself, I guess?seems like the kind of thing that could be included with every SSD by default for next to nothing, seems like it'd almost even fit in the current SSD box?

I saw it once. I used it to mount an OCZ SSD for a customer. It worked fine. I never saw it again.A bit expensive for my liking, but necessary until they start packaging them with SSDs.

This fit my drive and my pc. Nothing more to add real it is what it is. Although I would not spend 10 bucks on it, the price I paid was well worth it.

Does not fit into a 3.5 inch drive bay securely, seem that only one screw hole on each side seems to match those in the drive bay itself (on my application at least, Antec p183), and the mounting holes on the adapter are smaller not accommodating the larger screw normally used for 3.5 inch HDD installations.

Acheter avec mon vertex pour 1 cent. Le prix normal est élevée pour ce que c'est.. La finition est pas mal et le produit fait ce qu'on lui demande.

It's a metal bracket to mount your 2.5 drive, to a 3.5" bay. Not much to say really. I do find it weird that the ssd mounts off to one side of the bracket and not the center.

It does what a metal drive adapter bracket is supposed to do. I wouldn't want to pay the regular price for this item, but packaged with an SSD drive it's a no-brainer, and keeps the drive securely fastened.

The people at OCZ didn't think this one through. The screws that they used to hold the adaptor into your case are M3 (like your CD ROM)..BUT every other HD out there they use 6/32 screws...Lots of cases now have special hard drive mounts that help with sound & installation. So if you are like me and you have a special case (Antec 900) you will not be able to use this product..I have to take mine to work and retap the mounting screws to the STANDARD hard drive thread... 6/32 Sorry OCZ you failed...

i got this OCZ OCZACSSDBRKT2 2.5IN to 3.5IN Converter Drive Bay Adapter for my Kingston SSDNow V Series Gen II 64GB boot drive in my coolermaster 922 with a Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 Motherboard. with a amd 965be 125w. Two Sapphire Radeon HD 5770 oc to 950MHZ in crossfire and Kingston SSDNow V Series Gen II 64GB as boot drive with 3 wd 1tb black hdd for storage. 8gig of sector 5 oc to 1400mhz. Im oc at 4.1ghz with a Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H50. temp is 24c idle 30c load didnt even have to up the core volts. this OCZ OCZACSSDBRKT2 2.5IN to 3.5IN Converter Drive Bay Adapter works perfectly!

Cant complain when you get it free ($0.01) with Vertex purchase promo. It does what it says it does. Mounted the Vertex in a 3.5" bay in my CoolerMaster HAF 922 case.

Nothing much to say except this is good if you want to get the SSD in a nice solid place. The black finish on it goes perfectly with my new computer case as well.
