It's a simple piece of hardware but it does it's simple job nicely. I forgot to order this when ordering an SSD and I'm glad I ordered it afterwards

Also the screw holes are fine threads and dont work with quick moutn systems like found in the HAF 932 and its hard dirve bays.

It took a while to get used to/fix and mount the bracket. Glad it fit perfectly in my old Antec 900 3.5" drive bay.Would recommend this to others. Seems pretty solid/sturdy. Better than not mounting the drive and have it moving around despite it being an SSD.

However, not every will need it.So, it is not a big deal as You can get it after PM for only 2.xx. Pros:As OCZ SSD does not come with the bracket, it is good to have one. It comes with screws and ready to use. Black color is advantage if it matches to your build theme. Do not forget to do price match. Comment: It is a good product and good build. If I need more, of course I would buy it again.(got 4 for now)

Comment: This is the same 2.5" drive to 3.5" drive bay adapter that is often (but not always) supplied with OCZ drives. It can be price matched for about 1/4 the price at other stores. NCIX needs to at least offer it cheaper when combined with a 2.5" drive.

Comment: its a great little product to have if you really need to put an ssd into a case that doesn't natively support one. price is a hair steep for what it is, i guess sheet metal and screws arfe expensive, but pp took care of that. i got 2 for 2 corsair ssd's.

One of the screw holes was not correctly tapped and the screw could not screw tightly in. However, since I used it with an SSD, there will be no vibration, so 3 screws should be adequate.

So I had to improvise. A standard drive is 4 inches not 3 1/2. I padded one side with paper to squeeze this unit on my holders. I have 2 of these. Pros:It does hold the 2.5 inch drive. lsi@NCIX Rating: Review Date: 07/12/10	OCZ OCZACSSDBRKT2 Solid State Drive 3.5" Adaptor Bracket 2 Cons: pricewrong thread of screws for cases with special screws like Antecs w/vibration mounts Pros: simple design Comment: Overpriced for what it is, and OCZ gets a double fail for selling their SSD's with non-standard screw threads (problems with most laptop caddies) and this bracket being no better--it has fine thread screws like optical and floppy drives, so trying to mount it into normal hard drive mounts such as Antecs that have anti-vibration mounts is a problem. DUMB design for a hard drive replacement device, it should use the same threads as every other standard hard drive has used for 20+ years. I'd rate it two stars but I'm too lazy to dig up an order ID to rate how truly dumb this product design is.

Pros: None, does not fit into the drive bay Comment: The bracket isn't even as long as a standard 3.5" hard drive. If it isn't as long, how am I supposed to screw it into a drive bay? I can screw in one side, but then I've built myself a lever as the other side doesn't have anywhere to screw into. I should have read Fiey's review before buying this, as I have a p182 and encountered the exact same problems as him.

Comment: I bought this and still have in the box two months later, I used double sided foam tape for my SSD to a 2.5" remoavalbe cady in my Antec P182 and havn't bother to install this yet. Might in the future. It a simple pressed steel, not really a huge design effort, its a plate with screw holes.
