I have a older PC with a crap FSB, although i still got speeds between 8-9mbps write, havent checked read although this thing is awesome. Its all metal feels very nice and has a VERY bright orange LED. It looks good runs aweosme and is super fast and is great to stream 1080p movies to the xbox since it has such a fast read. Must buy.

OCZ's Rally 2 are great. Fairly average price too but the quality is better than average. What I usually do to solve the cap issue is fold the end of the lanyard and jam it in the cap so I don't lose it. I've owned the 2GB version for well over 2 years and there isn't a scratch on it, and its been dropped and used nearly every day.

On sale price after rebate is good but not the regular price. It's slower than the 4G version but still faster than other brand but more expensive.Feels better quality, at least is not plastic and good warranty, good brand so far OCZ.

Nothing bad to say about the drive. Feels solid and the cap on mine fits snugly. I wish the rebate game wasn't so common (hence the 4 stars) but I understand their logic (people that can't be bothered leave more profit for them). Good size to have essentials of new build parked (XP service packs, bios flashes, etc.) and will even hold most ripped movies (about 8GB if you don't recode) if I want to go to someone else's house without stopping at the video store or trashing my original disc.

Great product, great price (with or without the rebate, it's a bargain.) Very fast and I will definately be purchasing another for my wifes computer soon. You cant go wrong on this one.

I bought this drive in Aug (for $7 more) it's very solid and really fast. Cap is definitely loose, but the paper shim suggested earlier works great. I travel a lot, so the solid aluminum case was a real selling point. It's been dropped several times with no problems. I only wish OCZ had included some encryption software.

All I can say is that it was money well spent, it is very fast and what others have said about this drive is true, 34.99 with 12 mail in rebate, my final cost will be 22.99. I will mail off my rebate form tomorrow and hope I get it. Thank you for other who post and made my purchase easier. no connector like the picture

Over all a great little drive ... too bad the lights are so bright ... I mean if they made the cover big enough to fit over the back of it that would save us from covering it with black electrical tape .. but over a great drive

I Specifically bought this item because it said it was good for both windows and Mac. I worked perfectly for my windows computer, so I'm keeping it...but I could transfer NOTHING to my Mac, so I had to go back and look for another device that specifically had the mac face and the window's icon. Anyway, if it's just for windows to windows transfer, it's fast, and at such a great price I would tell others to buy one.

man I purchased this little baby and boy is it fast! I am a musician and producer and when I need an audio file I need it fast. This little baby moves my files at lightning speed. You gotta have this for all your data transfers WOW!

Love the storage. Works excellent, and it copies files fast. The size is perfect for everything I use it for. Compatible with my Sony Car stereo USB input(8GB of music on one device!). Couldn't be happier.

What more could I ask? We'll see how it lasts over the long term, but 8 gigs for 22 bucks? Buy a bunch and give them away.

Very good drive. I use this as a backup drive encrypted with Truecrypt. As fast as any other drives I've had (Sandisk being the best), just bigger. Only downfall is that damn plastic cap again.

Nice high quality USB drive that is the best for the money. This drive does not come with a bunch of crap software pre installed so that is a big plus in my book. I install what I want and not what some company thinks I want. I hate U3 and remove it from all my drives that come with it on. Same for anything else. Back to this drive. Compared with a Sandisk Cruzer Micro 4Gb this drive is about 30 seconds faster when the same 500 Mb directory was copied from my HDD to the USB stick. 2minutes 20 seconds for the Sandisk and 1 min. 47 sec.. for the Rally. This is the fasted drive I found. I have Sony, PNY, and Transend, but the OCZ is the fastest of all. It flys on normal file transfers. Alunminum case and super bright LED is nice too. The case give this drive a feel of the very highest quality. As far as the cap. No problem. As with others with removeable caps. When I use it I put the cap in my pocket.

AMAZING!!!! The only problem is the cover for the USB port falls off easily. But other than that GREAT, unbeatable price, one of the fastest ones on the marked, and great looking, I would buy it again.

Has a nice solid feel to the aluminum case and an excellent transfer rate. This drive has only one real fault. There is no way to attach the cap to the drive while it's plugged in. Other than that, its a great item for a great price.

This drive is quite fast. Compared to the others, I'm not as impressed. Previously, I had a 6GB mini hard drive which actually wrote data faster, but it took longer to fire up. This one is great. It would be nice if the cap at least fit onto the other side of the stick, like others I've had before.

I totally agree with previous review. Got this thing & moved 4gig of music to it within a few minutes... I was amazed. And I thought the same thing about the cap. Would be nice if it stayed connected so it doesn't get lost. But overall...a great purchase.

This puppy is FAST! I have a 4gig Sandisk and this OCZ blows it outa the water! Woulda given 5 stars across the board but the cap comes off completely with no attachment to body. No biggie but some connection so as not to lose it would be nice. Overall this drive rocks!

all in all its a good drive, price was great just wish it was more sturdy. as for my self i would not buy a new one probably look for something else
