Great power supply, not as noisy as people described it to be and for the price it's unbeatable, for a 600 watts.I love the color, the wiring is well organized and the newer version of this power supply features the 2 pci-e connectors, for recent cards. This is my 2nd power supply and so far so good. MIR is always an issue, I hope I get it asap!

OCZ600SXS = an excellent choice for any system shy of the tri-sli insane systems. For those of us w/o cash to simply throw away this will do the job very nicely. It has plenty of power for even an sli system, is quiet and with active pfc it's a winner for sure.

The CPU cable is not long enough and I had an extension at a local shop for $12 which was a rip off. Make sure you grab one from NCIX if you were to buy one of these. I don't think it's loud but it's not quiet either. Runs my Q6600 and 8800GT very well.

There's all this fuss about getting MASSIVE power supplies, and people more often than not go overboard with their PSU's. Its really bugs me, when people on forums say to buy a 750 or an 800 watt just to be safe. The truth is, for a mid-range gaming system something like this 600W is more than enough. I currently have an e8400, a 4850 radeon, 2 optical drives, 2 hard drives and about 5 fans and it works flawlessly. I am very confident if i get another 4850 it would work just fine as well.I'm not saying its a great idea to stick with the free PSU that came with your case, but just be realistic about your needs. Sure A 1000w psu would be cool... but do you need it? no... and its a helluva waste of electricity!Peace!

I wish i checked before but this PSU has super loud and annoying fan!!!!And on top of that when matched with Antec 300 case&asrock 4Core1600TWINS-P35 mobo you're in for a big surprise.1. 24pin power & CPU 4pin cable is too short to run it neatly.I had to buy extension cable adapters to get a somewhat clean run.

I've had this PSU for 4 months, it keeps my computer running well and the fan isn't loud at all. I'd recommend it to anybody who wants a good, inexpensive PSU.

This is a quiet psu. The cables are individually sleeved with a plastic mesh thingie. Has more than enough for a simple personal computer. Only way it could be better is modular, else this is perfect for any one who needs a powerful psu for a cheap ocing build.

Very i'm pressed with this power supply, just purchased for a new computer i was building for a friend and he is quite pleased with it. Very quite and didn't run out of extra power connections.

I bought this power supply to accompany the new computer I have built to handle today's gaming elements. So far this power supply has done well in keeping up with my DDR3 RAM dual ATI Crossfire Graphics card setup. It run very quiet and not to mention is looks very sleek ;). I would definitely recommend this product for the gamer building a PC to handle the games of today and is on a budget.

How can you go wrong at $45 for a 600W power supply. I have a few of these and when anyone asks I recommend the StealthXStream 600W. The fan exhausts lots of air from the case helping to keep things cool. It is fairly small and the fan points towards the CPU which is important to keep air moving.

I bought this unit for my little brother to handle the new parts he got from my computer after making some upgrades. and i kind of wish i would have kept it for myself and given him mine. I am happy with this unit and would recommend it to anyone building a machine on a budget.

I would have given it four stars if the fan had not started to make noise after six months. I'm still waiting for it to be sent back from RMA (which took about a week).If you're going with the Antec P180 or P182 mid-towers, the 24-pin and 4-pin motherboard cables will most likely NOT reach. The 4-pin molex hard drive connectors come with some sort of grip for ease of removal but I find it rather useless and obstructing.Over all, it is a very good power supply for the conscious consumers. It is relatively cheap for a 600W power supply. It supports up to two video cards in SLI and, with a good fan, it is very quiet. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-07-08 05:58 PM

the 24 pin (20+4) and 8 pin (4+4) cpu power connectors are too short. I used this with a cm690, motherboard cable BARELY reaches and the 8 pin will NOT reach. Had to buy extensions for both so I could route them through the back. Costed me 16 dollars. The PSU is quiet...but not quiet enough...For something that's "stealth" it's easily the loudest part of my system right now.

A very good PSU for the price, it has lots of connection options and power, while remaining quiet. The cables may be too short for some setups but that's the only problem I've really had (I believe the power socket issue is isolated).An excellent PSU!

Great Power supply for a relatively cheap price. The cables are all sheathed for a nice slick look, and it is fairly quiet. Overall i am impressed with this power supply.

This is a nice power supply for a good price. It works great and is fairly quiet, as the name suggests. The mesh wrapped wires are very clean looking and the black finish is non-reflective. Cord plug and on/off switch are located closest to the side of your computer where plexi glass windows sometimes are, thus making it easy to turn on/off or unplug the power cord if the need be; sometimes i need to to it.

A very good PSU with a decent amount of cables and quite stable. My only complaint is that for such a nice working (and looking) PSU the cables could have been a little longer to help with cable management. Although nothing a few tie-wraps wont fix.

I would have loved to see a secondary 80mm fan to assist with pushing the hot air out the back, but this power supply is amazing on top of that. Not modular, but very stron and stable. Has quite a weight to it. I purchase my PSUs by weight, and so far this is one of the heaviest. I was running a 550w previously and it couldnt keep up. This 600w should have been a marginal increase, but due to the quality of manufacturing I have NOTHING bad to say whatsoever!

I just wanted a decent PSU, I know not to go too cheap but on a budget system this is good enough. Stays quiet and cool for me, very easy install (I'm sure most are).

Great PSU for the price, your looking at spending an extra $50 or more to get the same specs on a modular PSU so that can definetly be hard to justify. Took no effort at all to wrap up the unused cables and tuck them above the PSU. Solid rails, 600W, and near silent operation make this a killer PSU. Has been running my Xeon E3110 g 4ghz OC and overclocked 8800GT flawlessly.

Overall a good value PSU. Didn't have the best of lucks with the unit I received as it dies 10 secs after being powered but the oneI receive as a RMA replacement should work as it seems a solid build.

This is a good power supply, it works for my computers demanding needs, i have a quad core rig and its working great with this psu, i just wish it was more noise dampened and a quieter fan was put in so it wouldnt be such a noisy beast.
