This drive is an absolute rocket! I upgraded my small alienware m11x with this drive from the stock 5400rpm drive and what a distinction. This drive is amazing. I use it for my boot drive did a clean install of windows 7 ultimate 64-bit. From the moment I see the windows logo flowing together the computer system is booted and prepared to rock in 20 seconds. I have Windows, kaspersky, and ms-workplace 2007, fallout new vegas operating on it. Almost everything else is on my 1-tb hdd like music, pictures,videos. To sum it up this drive is ultra quick you will not be disapointed. The only con I would have is the stupid sticker that comes with it. Other than that it's perfect in each and every sense. Boot occasions are wonderful. The moment you click on something its open and prepared to rock. Remarkable what are you waiting for buy it. OCZ ssd's are the greatest rated and fastest on the market place to date with the ideal value and warranty.

None I did not notice a lot distinction from two Velociraptors in Raid . The two Raptors actually load Windows 7 and games faster, it could have been mainly because of the defective drive. Really quick - loaded Windows 7 quickly and method response in Windows was incredibly rapid. Died following four months of light use. Began with random lockups after a couple of minutes and progressed to complete failure to boot. The rest of the program hardware is now up and operating with a regular difficult drive so the issue can be clearly traced to this drive.
