I recently upgraded from a 180 GB Vertex 2 SSD to this drive. I immediately noticed a huge difference in read & writes speeds. I'm using this drive on a SATA 3 port & would say that it's definitely being used to it's full potential. Every day tasks are so much faster than my old Vertex 2. Definitely a good upgrade!
