Would buy an OCZ powersupply again in a heartbeat. I absolutely loved the packaging, carrying case for extra modular power cables, beautiful packaging, big fan keeps psu from being a huge heat problem in most cases. I highly recommend and since I will never be doing a tri or quad sli/Crossfire setup I will likely be using this psu for a long time and should likely power my builds for awhile. Highly recommend and absolute steal right now with Manufacturers rebate. |

This "OCZ Z-SERIES 1000W 80+ Gold Certified Power Supply" is an awesome power supply, really good deal, black metal & gold looks great, currently running XFX 5770, 8GB RAM, Quad CPU, BluRay burner, 6HDD in RAID & capture card with no problems, runs really quiet. All the stuff (cable and velcro cable ties) are good quality, good conception. Very satisfied! |

After upgrading to sandy bridge and 6950 my seasonic 600w seems to be running on peak while gaming. The 1000w definitely lowered the room temp a bit. I am really pleased with the long cable it has, I could easily manage the cable in my antec 1200 on my seasonic everything was barely long enough. Almost the perfect psu for me except for one thing, the fan noise while stressed. The fan would run at full speed and it is louder than my 6950 on stock hsf.For a 1000w psu under $200 I really can't complain much about it, if you don't like loud fan noise you should stay away from this! |

Cons:- Not enough Molex Cable for all my computer stuff (needed to stuff by connected it in series). (compared to Corsair power supply)- Somes cables from Corsair is not compatible with OCZ power supply- No protection from the fan (if something fall inside the power supply, like stuff or water)
Pros:- Good quality power supply- Good quality cable, good protection cable and good range cable- Good fan (not soo lousy)- A lot of cables (except Molex Cable)- Good velcro cable ties Comment:

Picked this bad boy on surprise special for a huge deal in anticipation of needing to upgrade my video cards in a couple months. It's not too big, it looks great, no issues on boot.I had one bad experience with OCZ on my very first build years and years ago and this is the first time I've trusted them since, but I must admit, this PSU is nice, everything about it feels solid. Even the modular connectors click in with a very reassuring feel. very nice. |
This power supply is great, lots of power for gaming and being modular, it helps keep the clutter in the case down allowing for better airflow. Comes with thumbscrews making stallation easier and the provided cables are sufficient for most users needs. This supply is very quiet, and can barely be heard
