OKGEAR 10" SATA II cable with metal latch,UV
Comment:
UV works great.Latch holds securely. Its' Correct Angle to Appropriate Angle. It's much better to get Proper Angle to Straight Connector. At the Mobo finish, Proper Angle connectors take up much more space AND depending on SATA layout, cause you to cover ports.Cable is truly stiff...and worse it's short. Good thing i bout this and a different 1 which is Proper Angle to Straight connector.10" is Actually Brief. Check working with a Tape Measure that it's enough for your situation. My SATA connector and HD are four inches away...BUT this couldn't work. Remember u have to take into consideration the bends and twists too. I'll stick with 18" or higher.***If your drive isn't SATA II, the latch may well trigger cable not to fit. Check it!!*** SATA II drives have a lot more physical space for cable than normal SATA drives. |

Least costly way to have a portable harddrive for my HP mini. Saved a harddrive that would otherwise have been thrown away. None Why not make an enclosure for a laptop dvd or floppy drive? |

Newegg lightning fast delivery Inexpensive junk. Connector brittle plastic and doesn't fit tightly. The cable is very stiff and does not flex. Motherboard connector broke proper away. Stay away from this item. |
