Good deal on hardware software stinks
Comment:
Had a problem trying to install the software that came with drive. Communication with the hardware and software manufacture reps could not resolve the problem. The drive without the software would not fill my needs so I returned the product to the vendor. |

Good device so far
Comment:
I have always used HP burners since back in early cd only days. I had a hp1140i coupled with a hp420i when I started burning many double layered disks. The plextor caught my eye and since there were no hp here at the time, I tried it. Coupled with a hp1140i, I have burned around 150 single and double layered disks with no problems, zero failures. I have had excellent service from hp over the years and the plextor looks like it may be even better. |

Just The Remedy

My system was slow and dragging. It wasn't the software but the drives.Upgraded my system to using SATA drives.Now everything hummmmms.Plextor put out a work horse. Been using it for a little over three weeks steady, no coasters. Quality output, excellent. |
