PNY is a recognized brand, no surprises here. Quick ram for nowadays's fast boards. None thus far The heat spreaders are nice and give the ram a meaty really feel, they make it less difficult to install, but a bit tougher to pull out if your case is cramped. Nothing shocking about this ram, install it and forget it.

Looks cool, but didn't even get to test efficiency. 1 stick has issues, the other 1 stick absolutely doesn't function at all( this one triggered my personal computer to not even begin). I have 2 stick of crucial anniversary memory that has lasted me for three+ yrs already. I isolated the memory and tested each 1 at a time to make positive it was a compatibility error with my hardware. Truly Wonderful Searching, Dual Sided Heat Spreadder, doesn't hurt you when you install. Vista Gave This a five.9 Rating!!! Package was a little tough to open. Just Being Picky here. Excellent Ram, five.9 Vista rating with only 2gigs, super quickly with dual channel, runs circles around my desktop with 1gb of 533mhz ram. It even gets a higher ram score than my laptop with 2gb ddr2-667. Laptop gets a 4.5 ram score in vista, the desktop gets a 5.9 RAM score!! :)

Terrific RAM, haven't had any complications with it, run relatively cool even under load N/A =] i owned this exact same RAM for over a year now. but i didn;t buy it at newegg, and now i bought one more set of it from newegg. So now im rockin 4GB of RAM in Vista Ultimate 64-bit. the old and the new ram are wonderful. No complications at all. tremendously recomend it for anybody preparing to develop a budget rig.

First set came in with one of the sticks being bad, your company took care of me as always and replaced it.

Bought this product to upgrade a 64-bit os to take advantage of the higher memory capability. Bought 2 packages that had 4 sticks and one of the sticks was DOA but I didn't want to return it as I had a stick already in the machine with similar performance numbers and didn't want to go through the trouble of RMA's. Typical computer hardware, you win some and you lose some.

One stick would not even go into the slot because the heat shield was offset too close to one end. The other snapped in but the computer would not boot with it installed. Had to switch to another stick to verify that it was a bad module. Could not take to local store. Had to order and pay for new memory and get approval to return.

Upgraded a Dell with RAM and a good video card. The components almost touch! Everything snapped in and was recognised, and the system flew. When I say RAM Package this is where the cooling factors come in on the PNY Package. As you update any computer, remember that HEAT is your biggest enemy. Nice!

Package was undamaged when it arrived, however only 1 of the two modules actually worked, after getting SEVERAL BSOD's and severe PC instability in safe-mode, i tracked it down to the memory, one of the modules was SEMI-FUNCTIONAL!.. As your company always shoves their customers off to the manufacturer's, i went to PNY's website to look into an RMA, the product isn't even LISTED.. FAIL.. so now I'm stuck with 1 working module until i get to the store to get a new one.

Bought new motherboard and needed DDR2 at a good price. Pllugged right in and working great.

Plugged them in and away I went with 2GB more ram. Ran fine - no issues. Just be sure to install them in the correct paired slots to get full benefit of the dual channel. If you have 4 slots in your motherboard, more than likely your not to install them side-by-side. The slots should be color coded and paired ram should be installed in like colors. Mine has blue as the primary, and black as the secondary. So, this set both goes in the blue slots and my two 512GB sticks went in the black slots. Hope this helps!

I'm definitely not a techno-wizard, so upgrading my memory felt like a stretch. Quit snickering! Anyway, getting the old memory out and the new in went off without a hitch. My computer is a Dell 2.8 GHz running XP, and with the upgrade from 1 to 2 GB of RAM I'm not finding it bogging down like it did previously. This has worked extremely well for me.

The first pair I received had a dead stick. I contacted customer service and they sent a second pair, they were not a matched pair (Latency). Fortunately one of the second pair was a match with the good stick from the first pair. The system is running now, but this is by far the worst I have ever received from this retailer. I don't suspect I will buy PNY again.

This memory works great. I noticed an immediate increase in performance on my Athlon 64x2 5400 machine. I put in a new Gigabyte MB. I never have to reboot now. It just goes on and on. Great memory.

Placed both sticks into the dual channel memory slots with no hassle and bios had no issue finding them. The latency is 5-5-5-18. If you need basic memory these are great. If need the best latency available then look elsewhere. Overall, great value and trusted brand name but the latency timings could have been faster.

This was a really nice deal. Installed into my 16th build to complete my upgrade for up and coming Windows 7. Been running great now for a month or so. I highly recommend this product and will buy more for my next build :).

Installed in a friend's Dell without problems. Fired up 1st time and immediately recognized by BIOS. They have aluminum heat sinks on each side which stiffen the sticks making it easier to press them into the slots w/o flexing. jb

With my setup and my own compute I built myself I couldn't ask for better working Dual Channel ram and I will be ordering this ram again soon necause I would like to have 4 gigs of ram in my computer best ram for the money I have ever seen!
