like any flashdrive its little and portable8gigs, not too poorincredibly trustworthy, hell i dropped it in water twice (other thoughts) only 8 gigs, but meh, give it a few years and it may possibly be 1Tera (unlikely in the next 5-6)no beeper you can use if you lose the tiny thing (all flashdrives must have one!) Mine is water proof! left it in my pants pocket and ran around looking for it, discovered it in the was, still worked! with all the information too, i also dropped it in the sink at work when i left it in my chest pocket. on the other hand i DON'T advocate you test to see if yours is too.

Nice design, seemed sturdy adequate. Total failure soon after only practically 4 months. Not that much use overall. Employed to carry files back and forth from workplace to household. I have an old 2gig years old thats coming apart that nonetheless operates. Not impressed Patriot. Im contacting Patriot, supposedly a 2 year warranty, we'll test this. Not dropped, not abused. Win7 detects errors and offers to scan and fix, nada. Can first see files/folders then attempt to access and then claims no longer there. Format does not perform, chkdsk even tried. Amazing! So far I haven't had a single challenge from the flash drive and I've had it for over three months now. I've reformatted it a couple of times and turned it into a bootable USB with a difficulty. It has a cap that comes off rather of one that flips off and is still connected. (I've lost the cap a couple of occasions lol) Other then that it is good! I paid ฟ for a 8GB USB Flash Drive and I wont look back and regret it. Keyhole is really smaller, and with the plastic body, I'm not sure how well it will hold up on a keyring. This Flash drive is unlike many of its competitors. It does not run a drive overlay that needs particular drivers to detect it. It detects as a USB2. drive device immediately and is ready to go driverless. I was impressed that they actually gave me a bigger drive then stated. PC's do not work in base 10 so typically 8GB is about 7.five real gig. but they usually = the 10 base number in "bytes" this drive is in fact 8.25 GB in 10Base. which is only 7.67 actual gig but I am surprised to recieve more then 7.5 actual gig. Trust me this is a very good thing. It feels sturdy and the red led is bright sufficient to make the entire rear finish of the product light up with a dull glow creating you know its working. Did not include a neck strap to use.

the drive works great so far. no difficulties at all with it, came preformatted for fat32 and reads 7.45GB as other people have stated could use a larger ring hole, or atleast come with a smaller spring/key ring. mine is the Limited Edition version but couldnt post as a review for it because it becoming limited and i got last/next to last 1 prior to it was deactivated very same/next day so mine came with "Shattered Horizions" key.
