Patriot Memory Signature PC-2700 Notebook SO-DIMM - 1.0GB
Cons:none
Pros:Compatibility Comment:
I used this for the price (hope the rebate follows through) as an upgrade for a friend's 2 year old Acer 3004wlmi which had 2x256 mb. I got 2 of these to run in dual channel to max out his rig. The performance increase was instant as you would expect. Cheap upgrade to put new life into an old laptop! This review was modfied by poster @ 11-04-08 08:48 PM |

Cons:American Patriotism (No Canadian option) :)

I love Patriot memory. I've never had an issue, and they always seem to live up to their lame slogan "The perfect mix of Quality and Value". I installed this into an Australian purchased Acer Extensa 2300 (Celeron 1.5GHz). If anything would have compatibility issues, I figured it's a 4 year old Acer from overseas. Popped it in, fired it up, worked instantly with the existing 256MB module that was in the computer already. Very impressed. |
Popped it into a HP TC1100 tablet. Works just fine. The 2nd SODIMM is buried and I haven't bothered to excavate it to replace as 1.25 GB is plenty for XP.
