-Runs as advertised.-No installation issues.-Undoubtedly worth the cost tag. -None so far. I've owned the RAM given that around Christmas and I haven't had any troubles whatsoever with it. So far the only problem I've had with it was that I had to tweak the bios a bit in order for it to show up as 4gb, but this could have been a thing on my end rather then due to the fact of the RAM. It wasn't anything key anyways. It took literally thirty seconds to fix. |

This is by far the fastest RAM i have ever applied. Plugged it in with no difficulties and it ran. I get a 7.five on the windows knowledge guide! None so far It is definitively worth the upgrade! Plus the expense on these keeps seeming to drop, i'd say get them even though they are still around! |

Really satisfied with the price and performance of this ram. Had to manually set timings but that's not a big deal. My 1st set was running at the manufactures timings. If you get a second set, have to run at 1333. Saw the manufactures response from previous post "Due to the excess load on the memory controller, we can only guarantee that the memory each 2x2GB kit attain the rated timings."This is accurate. Nonetheless no complaints, running two sets at the exact same timings but 1333 speed. None! I'm pleased. Wish they did run at 1600, but honestly from 1600 to 1333, it is not noticeable. |

Great look, sleek style, stays incredibly cool under load Heat sink seems Weak This is my initially custom develop, and as RAM goes, it was pretty painless to put in. I noticed the heat sinks appropriate away, so i only pushed on the sides of the stick to steer clear of excess pressure that might break. Regrettably, I got a stick that had a defect in the contact points. 1 gold tab broke off inside the DIMM slot, which bent the contact points in the slot itself. When I fired up the PC for the initially time, that broken tab bridged two points and shorted out the entire DIMM slot... The other stick runs beautifully, and the heat sinks keep everything under 30c |

Cons:
None whatsoever
Pros: Are very durable and Have always turned out great for me. Worth every penny. Comment:
I have always used patriot ram and I must say, I have never had to send a stick back because it was bad. I have always been able to squeeze a little more speed out of them and lowered the clocks as well. If your looking for ram that you wont be playing games with (ocz, and g-skillz) and just want something that you can put in your system and have it run, then this is the ram for you! |

These worked really well on a MSI 890GX board. Very stable at their rated specs. I didn't try to overclcok them past 1600 MHz. I also liked the black PCB they are made on. Looks cool with my black mobo and video card. |

Product works great. Windows rates it 7.4. A little pricy compared to other memory. After reading other reviews on installation issues I was carfull installing and never pushed on the heat sink. I only pressed on the very end of the circuit card when snapping into place. The memory installed fine this way . |

I did not have too much luck overclocking these sticks. I built 2 computers, both Core i3 530`s with a MSI p55-gd 55, and these were only stable at about 1700 MHz for me, while the G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-4GBNQ PC3-12800 I had in the other computer was closer to 1800Mhz, and costs about the same. Hrmm what else to say. What the heck . Says my review is too short to publish. More filler More filler |

Works as expected
Comment:
Bought 4gb kit then a second one week later. Very good memory and can overclock great. Second kit arrived with a bad module. Heat dissipator came loose on one side of the module and took one of the chips off underneath. After inspecting my other modules, the heat dissipaters were also loose, so you must be careful when inserting into sockets. Patriot did replace, but they were slow to respond to my emails and then they had to pass the request over to 3 different people to finally give me an RMA and return instructions. Otherwise, memory is very good with no issues. |

What can you say about RAM? It works. Another review speaks about having to press on the heat shields to install the RAM. This is true, but it did not affect the performance of mine. |

Great ram but watch how you install
Comment:
The day I received the ram and went to install it I found the heat spreader loose after I installed it. The ram would not post and all tests in other slots would not work. I examined the ram closely and noticed the heat spreader was loose. Closer examination revealed that one of the chips the spreader was attached to had come loose from the PCB. The instructions with the packaging tell the installer to use force pushing down on top of the ram to install it however the only way to do this is to push on the heat spreaders. I'm sure the ram was defective before I installed it however the memory chips soldered to the PCB should never come loose when installing the ram so that's a defect on the part of the manufacturing process. When installing my replacement I grasped the heat spreaders on the side and at each end and installed them. No problems and they work great. |

very efficient ram. |
I have usually utilized the fantastic brands for memory (Kingston, Corsair, Patriot, Vital, and PNY). They are often rapidly and reliable. It does have fascinating graphics. It's heatsinks are really significant and are noticeable when you choose up the box. The con with the good memory (Kingston, Corsair, Patriot, Critical and PNY) is that they use a lot of power. In this case it utilizes 1.65v. Some motherboards will say 4x 240-pin 1.5v memory slots on specifications. It's challenging to tell if they will perform on that motherboard. Asus and EVGA Motherboards are the only motherboards to function with all voltage memory sticks that I have observed so far. Once more I purchased this on sale. I need to of waited a week for the G.Skill Ripjaw 1.5v Memory sticks to go on sale. It's not a brand that I am use to even so it would give me far more choices to perform with when selecting a motherboard.
