I have an older machine (a 2002 Dell 2400) and required an more upgrade to maintain up with the instances. Already upgraded it from its stock 256MB of RAM to a full gig a handful of years ago, and bought this to give it the further kick of 2GB. It's made my laptop or computer run a lot smoother, undertaking exactly what it's supposed to do: give a person like me too cheap to get a brand new machine more room to function with! Not a one. As soon as it arrived, I pulled it out of the packaging, popped it into the second slot, locked it in, and away I went! I've had it plugged in due to the fact early November, and it's been smooth sailing. The heat spreader is a nice touch. I'm just a bit paranoid when it comes to my computer, so the 1st gig is covered in a heat spreader as properly. I possibly wouldn't get (or would at least hesitate to buy) a stick without a single. |

Received my order right now of two 1 GB sticks. Installation was a breeze and they were recognized promptly. I see a significant improvement over what was in there (one stick of 512 MB). This even tends to make me appreciate my DSL service far more. My browser snaps to consideration when opened. None. This is the very first time I'm installing RAM with a heat spreader. Great ram....It came with heat spreaders, which was a major bonus. Installed on 1st try and results seem to be great. My computer system...I wish it could deal with far more memory . Perfect for individuals laptop or computer you have just laying around or what not. I use a single core processor only capable of 2gigs..I had 1 gig before now upgraded to full 2gigs and its a tad bit more quickly. Ran my games more smoothly and loaded them quicker. If your hunting for a cheap upgrade rather than a new laptop or computer this is the greatest bang for your buck:) |

I don't know why I use any other memory than Patriot..Each and every time I use Patriot, it constantly operates and performs effectively.Plugged a stick into an old Presario 1103wm, fired it offand it was operating substantially greater.
