great ram, plugged it in my old av8 motherboard and it worked proper on start off up with no issues, each sticks worked fine. shipping was rapid. my old agp computer runs a lot faster. i may acquire a different two sticks of this memory later, 'if it drops in price tag' to max 4gbs of ram in my old computer. this ram is out dated ddr 400, that getting stated the price tag must be considerably decrease, concidering you can purchase 2 gb sticks of newer ram for much less or practically buy a 4gb single stick of ddr 3 ram for this value. otherwords for becoming older tech this ram is way over priced. shouldnt be additional than 50 bucks for two gigs and no a lot more than 25 for one. good memort to update your old agp, ddr 400 rigs. but the cost is a little steap for old tech. if you cant afford to construct a new rig and will need a temp upgrade then this could be a decent purchase. but if you got cash for a new rig dont waist your income. i bought this just to preserve my old rig operating to give it to my sis so she will have a decent pc. so it needed a upgrade.

Each modules have been tested and both throw errors as soon as the test starts... Due to the fact this is right after the 30 days I can't get a replacement set. I guess you get what you pay for. Worked out of the box! two Gig! I installed these babies and all was great! none Right after seeing stability problems with low latency Ballistix DDR 2X512mb two-2-2-six memory, I went with these sticks which have greater latency. I just about immidately noticed a additional stable method in windows and games. I feel a stable method is considerably more crucial than shaving off a few clock cycles.

It operates in my old AMD 939 socket Asus mobo till I upgrade to Sandy Bridge when that's fixed. Increased my speed some and cut back on CPU usage somewhat. Not that it's especially germane to the computers actual functioning, but it looks fantastic. Very fairly blue color and fantastic graphic logo on the heat sink. The usual grouse or complaint about the price for memory this old if not out of date. Fascinating install problem with my video card (workstation sort card, PNY Quadro NVS 440). I installed the new RAM in slots 2 and 4 along side the older Corsair Ram (same CAS, exact same voltage, same timings), turned the laptop or computer back on and got the long and two brief beeps for video card fail or one thing. Reseated the video card and all the connections, turned it back on,...nothing at all. Removed the Patriot ram, card worked. Tried changing the ram into unique slots, no soap. The subsequent morning, tried the new Patriot RAM by itself in slots 1 and 3, no beeps, video worked. Then installed old Corsair RAM in slots 2 and 4 and anything worked, video on. Great mystery lesson for me. Possibly it was all my fault from the starting or theres some thing I don't know about RAM here. Almost everything fine now. Nonetheless really like the egg.

Took proper away. That's always a pro. Thin kwhen I purchased it it was less costly the what's showing at the moment. Cost of memory keeps going up. This is old outdating memory, you would consider the price would be cheaper. Upgrading a B110 for a friend whose personal computer started to go genuinely slow all of a sudden. She thought she had a virus so she sent to me to repair. Found out it was the new anti-virus the applied. I advised this anti-virus as my favorite, not recognizing her computer specs, (I'm a gammer, use quad core, SLI, 8 gigs, 64bit systems), she purchased it and slowed her laptop or computer way down. She was way under specifications with 256mb memory. These sticks, a new video card, (GeForce FX 5500), and a new HDD 320 from 80 gig tends to make her laptop or computer so a lot faster and much more dependable. Now she doesn't have to be concerned for awhile. Nice adjust of pace.

I purchased this solution to upgrade my Pc from a 512MB DDR SDRAM to a 2GB DDR SDRAM. It seriously created a Large distinction in the efficiency of my Pc. Factors run a lot smoother now. It was somewhat effortless to install also, just eliminate the old ones, and pop these in. The computer read them right away. Really excellent value also! None that I can see. When I 1st attempted to install them, I thought they did not perform, since the Computer wouldn't read them. But following looking at another Pc, I realized that they just weren't in far enough. You genuinely have to jam the factors in there, getting rougher than you would like to with such delicate gear, prior to they are installed properly. It genuinely worried me at initially, but that was just me putting in RAM for the first time. I just thought I would mention it for anybody else who may possibly be undertaking it for the initial time.Oh, and btw, Newegg Rocks! Solution was received the day following I ordered it, and they certain did package to safeguard.

Nicely, it's wonderful seeking memory......decided to try immediately after replacing Corsair memory twice in the last year. Sadly, I have to report possessing a BSOD and main crash last nite through a heavy gaming session. Ran memtest86 overnite, checked results this morning and apparently my RAM troubles are not more than by switching brands.......I guess I won't be executing organization with Patriot again Figured attempting something else that wasn't so costly may give me much better results.......perhaps Kingston, OCZ or Mushkin can give me a top quality non-failing item Manufacturer Response:Dear Buyer. For Extreme gaming I suggest working with our Extreme performance line for maximum performance. It seems that other memory modules created by other manufacturers have failed the same way in your method.I highly advise checking your primary board to make positive the board is not more than distributing voltage causing the modules to fail beneath heavy pressure. This is a prevalent problem when the board over voltages the modules. With RegardsGeorge
