It's cheap, in more methods than 1. I bought 4gig worth of this because I believed i would save a couple of bucks and increase my Vista overall performance. Was running 2gig of XMS and due to the fact my upgrade I have had quite a few memory errors and a couple of crashes. My technique is slower now with twice the memory. I must of known much better, but I thought they had been a trustworthy name. Will not own any far more memory from them.Newegg had them to me in 1 days time, the only excellent thing about this.

seems to keep cool Honestly these do not seem to be any superior than the low cost Kingstons I had in the program previously. You definatly can not overclock them, the personal computer fails. but what do you want it's ddr, just ddr. I'm presently creating a new sytem because this one is old. I built this program 4 to five years ago and with the exception of investing a couple hundrd a year it has served me well, but now, I'm possessing difficulty playing newer games such as Mass Effect, Clearskies. It plays Crysis just fine, I'm just asking yourself what these games would appear like with a new method. Old sys specs: Intel 3.4ghz, MSI 865PE NEO3 f, four gig patriot extreem 3200, 400, 150gb old Raptor 10,000 rpm 3850 agp ati sapphire gddr3. this will turn into the downstairs computer system, soon ha ha incredibly soon.

Second time I've gone back to Patriot! Very pleased with the stability of this memory and ease of installation. Heat spreaders come pre-installed. About a year ago I upgraded to 2 gig's and I came back for an additional 2! Created in the USA! Not actually a con but there is cheaper RAM accessible, but for the quality, I am happy with the value point!

Plugged into my Abit NF-7M MOBO, automatic recognition, no alarms, no glitches, no troubles. Great efficiency !! Quick ship from New Egg. NONE !! All of the critiques that I have read place this memory in the identical class catagory as Corsair which I have always sworn by, Kinston and Crucial. The decrease latency, warranty, expense with a rebate and performance have produced me a new Patriot buyer. Bang for the buck, it's Patriot no question.

I installed this RAM into my beloved older Pc (upgrading from 1GB to 2GB,) and am now enjoying remarkably enhanced speed in applications. My graphics run smoother, music sounds better and memory-heavy applications, such as moving and copying files, take a lot much less time. So far I haven't had any motherboard complications, the RAM was packaged properly for shipping and it loaded up immediately with no so a lot as a BIOS examine. The cost was also reasonable and the installation procedure was so uncomplicated, my mother could do it. For the price tag of a new external tricky drive, I enhanced my Computer's performance to the point where it feels like a new machine. Absolutely nothing wrong that I can see. I knew what I was undertaking, but if a complete newbie had to set up these, the manual would benefit from some illustrations. The sticks of RAM themselves are a great color, and in instances with visible motherboards, they will probably draw compliments at LAN parties.

Excellent when it operates. I have utilised this brand prior to. The Computer I was upgrading already had two sticks of this, that was three years old and generally worked good. I received a negative set of RAM. Would trigger Windows 7 64-bit to crash with a blue screen. Was very difficult to detect even though. RMA'd via NewEgg. This memory would test very good with the Windows 7 memory test, which caused me to look at other items rather of the RAM. Replacing the Patriot with the identical G. Ski-- brand solved the crashes. I also attempted bumping the voltage a notch, but that did not support, only made factors worse. I think I just got a bad batch.

Good worth RAM. Stable and works flawlessly if you get a working set. Had to RMA the initial set simply because a single stick didn't permit the Pc to boot and the other caused stability problems. RMA was rapidly and simple. It would have been better if NewEgg paid for shipping the broken product back.
