So far so good. Its been up and running now for 2 weeks. I have a quad core processor and direct x 10 card on it with alot of extras on the motherboard. It seems to be doing good..and if it only lasts a year i got my moneys worth..

I have this PSU powering a machine with an E1200 CPU and an 8800GTS 512 GPU (which states the minimum requirements are greater than this PSU). Well, I've had my system Folding@Home 24/7 with both the SMP and GPU2 clients (in other words, under full load) for 2 months with this PSU and it hasn't quit on me yet. Colour me pleasantly surprised.

I was worried about the name and the low price. I was wrong. Buy this psu. It isn't pretty, but it has absolutely no problems, just plug and play. It works perfectly in a cheap linux box I built to bring some work home. Really, buy it.

This Power supply is easy to install & has more than enough peripherial hook ups to power what you have in your case. the down sides on this though are that the SATA cord is a bit short for use in a Mid-Tower & the +5V rail runs very high (5.23 to 5.28) nearing overvoltage conditions. except for the high voltage & short cords the supply is quiet & a pretty good deal for the price

Purchased 2 on 5/23/08 to replace aging 350watt units. Both work flawlessly, but I didn't start with a system that just blew the other supply. Also I didn't plug in a drive with the data cable backwards which kills a power supply. They also removed the 110/220 switch on these and went auto-sensing which puts and end to those users who get one set to 220 that causes failure to powerup. I'm sorry if this sounds negative but I've seen thousands of end users with these issues and it's always the same thing.

I was surprised! I was a little leary with this being so cheap and everyone says to get a good quality (expensive) psu, but it came in a barebones kit so I had no choice. This thing is heavier than I had expected and really quiet. After receiving the kit I decided to do some upgrading and am now running a quad Q6600 @ 3.2GHz and a 8800GT no problem on this thing. The only draw about this is that it only has 2 sata power connectors so if I want to add another hard drive I need to get an adapter, and it would be nice to get 2 PCI-E connectors, but for $30 I can't complain.

not bad i got a 400w with a case about year and a half ago it burned out tonight had to pull apart a 3 year old antec smart power 350w and modify to fit the newer mother board gonna have to replace it tomarrow lol took a while to figure out what the problum was. I thought it might be video at first. Once I figured out it was psu, it took about about 3 hours to take apart both psu's and figure out what went where for the mod. Then ended up with currupted files :( Safe mode, cmd prompt, chkdsk C:\ /f /r and ctrl+alt+delete and a msconfig later i stand hear amid a mess of cut up wires, 1 very busted up cheap 400w psu, to tell you just buy a cheaper pair of shoes next time and purchase a better one youll be happier in the end

I have used 3 of these units now in different builds and repairs, and they seem to work great. The voltage rails all report strong. It looks like some users have issues with these, but the 3 I have used seem to be good units. The wire used in the manufacture of these is better gauge than I have seen in super cheap units and the weight of these units pretty much tells you if quality caps/heatsinks are used in them, and they are weighty units. Keep in mind, I haven't tried one of these in a 3 way SLI, just a standard CPU, 2HDD, 1 Vid Card, 2GB RAM set-up and they work great. As usual, Tiger would not put a product up for sale that didn't deliver.

I bought this power supply as part of a barebones system. When I got the system assembled, I had stability problems, but didn't think much of it. The next morning, I awoke to a smoke smell and a fried ps... not to mention it took my mobo and hard drive with it!!! TG is comping a ps and mobo, but i'm stuck with the hard drive. Let the buyer beware.

I got this PSU because it was cheap. I am going to get a much better PSU later. It suprisingly does the job for me, I am using it to power my new gaming Rig. AMD 3.2Ghz Black Edition CPU, Asus m3a32-MVP, 4GB US Modular DDR2 RAM, Visiontek ATi Radeon 3870 Video Card. No power issues whatsoever. I am definately upgrading in the future, adding another video card and OC'ing the Rig like crazy. For now this PSU is doing pretty well so far.

Was skeptical about this unit, but was also on a budget. Bought it for an Intel D945GCPE Motherboard and 3 ghz Pentium D cpu, 2 gb ram. 1 320 gb SATA HD. Motherboard has built in Intel Graphics(possibly less power needed than a PCIe video card) To my surprise, the PS powered up first time, and has been working great for 3 weeks now. Very quiet and full featured. I say it is worth a try. 20 bucks well spent (so far)

I have two of these and they work great. The fan seems to be temperature controlled and is very quiet. The case is pretty plain, but I didn't buy it to look at it. I would buy this again if I have a need for another supply.

While this does seem to be a low- to mid-end PSU, I've had it running for about a month with out any issues. The fan has been quiet (overall the computer it's in is the quietest I've ever built) and there hasn't been any power issues. It has enough connectors to please almost everyone. The PSU also doesn't seem to heat up as much as others I've had which helps keep the interior cool. Overall, I would say good value for the cash, excellent number of connectors, and nice and quiet.
