Good Price

I was looking for an inexpensive PS for a workstation running a low-end PCIe video card. The video card required a 28A +12V rail. This PS meet those requirements with room to spare. I was surprised by how many high-watt PS's didn't meet the specs. Anyway, I've been running it for a few weeks now without a problem.

A Great Buy
Comment:
This replaced a 350w supply which had slowly failed from too much load I'd added over the years. This 550w gives plenty now. No more sagging on my USB connections. This has connectors already for my 2 SATA drives; didn't need the adaptors I'd added before. Took about 45 minutes to remove the old one and install the new one and has worked flawlessly for several weeks. Thanks, TigerDirect, for good quality.

It is a power supply and it does what it should
Comment:
It is a little noisy but I can live with that. Install was a snap, as it should be with any PSU. Works great and keeps cool.

Works great so far, fairly quiet and easy to install. Only issues i had was the hook up for the dvd drive and hard drive was too short so i had to move my hard drive up a few inches, other than that great product for the money!

Pretty good PS! No Problem installing. Much better cooling and quieter than the stock 280 Watt it replaced. Inexpensive for a 550 Watt PS. Budget gamers this is a good buy!

Bought this lame-o and it was DOA. Power ''ON'' voltage wasnt sufficient. Wasted money with shipping. Returned for refund. Wont buy from power up again.

No dice. Power supply tested fine on both of my testers, but when plugged into a system, would not power it up (i.e., couldn't handle any load whatsoever). Guess you get what you pay for. Replaced with a Cooler Master 600W, which has been fine.

i bought one of these about 2 years ago and it has been a great psu. i was so impressed with it's great service i bought a second around a year ago and have had it running a server. the server has 5 ide hard drives, dvd rom, and a cd burner installed. it runs 24/7 and has never gave me any grief. i highly reccomend this psu.

Bought this power supply as a part of an upgrade of mobo, memory and processor. Worked well for 9 months and then suddenly went ''POP'' one day and stopped working. Warranty is only 3 months so I opened it up and replaced the blown fuse. Still no power so more troubleshooting is required. Luckily the rest of the computer avoided damage and runs fine with a different power supply.

After I used the PS in 3 months (3 hours a day), the fuse inside PS was burned out. It is difficult to find the fuse like that in a shop in my city. If I order the fuse by Internet, it will takes several days. My job can't wait for that.

I bought 2. I put one on a Gateway and it started perfectly. It works silently. I put the other one on a Dell 4700. The computer never started. I had to interchange PSU with another gaming computer. The plastic of the conections are not of the best quality and can break when pluging in.
