PowerColor Radeon HD 3450 AX3450 512MD2-H Video Card
Comment:
I installed this in my old Dell Dimension 4600. I don't in fact use a lot of the connectors so they end up taking up space. It runs quiet and I believe it will outlast the laptop or computer. I wish the unused connectors could be disconnected from the supply to cost-free up space inside the case.

PowerColor Radeon HD 3450 AX3450 512MD2-H Video Card

Excellent HDMI display card for my PC and my HDTV. PowerColor homepage is incredibly valuable in helping me with the sound concern listed below. Right after installing the HD audio patch from MS, and adjust my sound device to the newly discovered, the sound works beautifully. Video displayed on my HDTV fine but no sound from my Dell PC with Windows XP SP2. To resolve the sound issue, here is an excerpt from the site:HDMI sound function could not function correctly with my WinXP system soon after HD2000񳞨񳮐 series vga card have installed . A Possible to solve problems concerning HDMI sound output for XP only: 1. Update motherboard BIOS to most existing version (check your producers web site for current versions) 2. Update sound card driver of mainboard to most current version (check your producers web site for present versions) three. Update your ATI Catalyst driver (http://game.amd.com/us-en/drivers_catalyst.aspx) 4. install the Microsoft Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) driver for high-def audio (http://support.microsoft.com/kb)

PowerColor Radeon HD 3450 AX3450 512MD2-H Video Card
Comment:
This is a good card that does what it's supposed to. Hybrid Crossfire worked without any hiccups but I honestly didn't see any performance increase that was noticeable. I can't say something poor about the card mainly because I knew going in that it wasn't a performance card. When other reviewers mentioned they didn't actually notice any distinction from onboard video, this statement couldn't be a lot more true. I thought, "How bad could it be", effectively; do yourself a favor and invest a few far more dollars and get a 4000 or 5000 series Radeon. I suggest this card for any motherboards that don't have onboard video and functionality is additional of an concern. Putting this card in my mother's personal computer and ordering a Powercolor 5570 (ฤ additional immediately after rebate).
