I found the floppy drive so easy to use, and it read my disks with no problems. As a 72 year old I appreciated this.

It only reads floppy disks that it writes. Mine has a track registration issue that keeps it from trading floppies it didn't write.

I am totally satisfied with this USB floppy drive. It read my floppy disks and now I can store old files.

I needed this unit for only one application - but an important application, and it worked beautifully. Good interfacing with Vista (an achievement in itself), and unit does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Unit will install under windows XP forward with no additional drivers. Drivers are included for older operating systems. I installed in VISTA HP with no problem. Reads and writes like a floppy drive, that is fairly slow. Solid Unit powered from USB drive and would recommend

It works like I needed it to do. I had a ton of floppies that had pictures on them from a camera that used a floppy for memory. It did the job for me, but it is a noisy piece of equipment, and the reject button could have been placed away from the slot a bit more.

Easy to install with Windows XP, you plug and Pof ! It work ! Excellent price for any network administrator.

The first floppy was formatted, written on, and then read with no trouble. Every floppy after that was not recognized as being formatted, and the unit could not be used. In fact, the message that the floppy was not formatted came on even when there was no floppy on the drive.

It needs two USB ports to run properly, according to the user manual. After I got past this fact (and found my new netbook had three USB ports), I discovered that this little drive works simply and flawlessly. Love the upright stand. It fits well on my desk.

I had been trying for months to get files out of my old out-dated computer into my new laptop. The external floppy drive solved all those problems. I am extremely happy with it. It arrived sooner than I expected and turned out to be a plug and play with no installation.

I bought this external floppy to copy some old pictures from floppy disk to my external hard drive. Works great. For the price, hard to beat. Fast delivery. I would recommend to anyone looking for a simple external floppy drive.
