Once you get it mountd
Comment:
Cools the CPU as needed. Those plastic tits are a terrible mounting solution. Once I drilled them out and used honest screws the project was fine. |

PART MISSING
Comment:
This an OEM product and the base plate (X form) does not come with it. So it's not design for a new installation because there is no base plate to screw the fan to. The missing plate goes under the motherboard. So the part is sitting on my shelf. |

It works
Comment:
The mounting hardware is a little cheap but it works. There is room for improvement there. Take your time when installing and it is not that big of a deal. The fan performs well for the money. |

Budget Heatsink
Comment:
This Heatsink is good for an inexpensive Project, or replacement, and works well with Intel 915 chipset fan speed controllers. the only potential disadvantage is the mounting clips. I used adhesive to secure the clips, so they won't work loose later on. If they would have used screws, this heatsink could've cost double the price, although i assume that's why these heatsinks are so cheap, overstock perhaps. I used it on a 2.8Ghz Pentium 4, and it idles at 132F. |

Take advantage of the rebate
Comment:
The fan is very quiet and keeps the CPU cool. Read reviews from specialized site and you will see that it is better than most replacements at a lower cost. |

Not all good
Comment:
I am thinking of runturning this product because it does not mount securly to the motherboard. The way it mounts is once the screws are through the heatsink mounts, they are supposed to expand and lock it in to place. Mine did not work right I guess. Thanks |

Good for the price
Comment:
Good value for the price and easy to install - just be sure that the black locking pins are not pushed down when inserting the clips into the motherboard. It's a little noisy when under a load ( 3K rpm) and doesn't cool any better than the stock aluminum-base heatsink that it's replacing. |

You get what you pay for.
Comment:
It is cheap and easy to install. But after a few months the plastic retainers popped out of my motherboard (yes,I installed it correctly). Just ordered a new one w/ a more sturdy mounting system. |

Inexpensive, Easy Installation, fully functional.
Comment:
This CPU fan was inexpensive and easy to install. It not one of the glitziest since it is just a basic model. I bought it as a replacement and it does the job. |

The product was priced fairly and it was delivered very quickly. It was simple to install in a few minutes, ran very quietly, and kept the procesor cool. |

Good Product
Comment:
Ordering was easy. The part arrived sooner than expected. Installation was easy. Performance has been very good. Even found that the fan is variable speed depending on CPU temp. It would have been better if the heat transfer paste had been included with the fan. Luckily, I had some in stock. Overall, a very good deal. |

PowerUp P4 CPU Cooling Fan - Socket 775, Copper Base
Comment:
The fan mounting system, made of plastic, was apparently manufactured defective. One of the four mounting points would not stay locked into place. It was unuseable. |

Works great!! The heat sink has more than enough surface area. I installed this fan on my wife's Dual Core gamer and she can't set off the temp alarm as before. |

PowerUp P4 CPU Cooling Fan - Socket 775, Copper Base
Comment:
This is a good CPU fan for the money and is very quiet. It was very easy to install it took me under an hour, took me longer to clean the dust around the mobo. I would suggest you buy a tube of thermal grease as the CPU has a thin layer of the grease. I replace the old fan on my Pentium 4 HT 3 GHz which is 4 yrs. old and it was starting to make noises. Tiger Direct did a good job delivering the fan it only took 3 days, it's working just fine. |

PowerUp P4 CPU Cooling Fan - Socket 775, Copper Base
Comment:
Nightmare! Came with no directions. Has a mickey mouse connect to the board which finally seated but my 2.66 Q6700 runs hot as all get out. I will need to get another one that actually cools the processor. It was a waste but at least it was a cheap waste. You need to get some thermal paste. Doesn't come with enough on it to seat it. |

PowerUp P4 CPU Cooling Fan - Socket 775, Copper Base
Comment:
Its a decent cooling cpu. Its a bit tricky to install on to the motherboard with the prongs. You could do better but its good for the price. Cools single and dual cores great but not for quad core processors. |

I have have a q6700 quad core mildly over-clocked. I built this thing like 2 years ago and this fan is currently, as we speak, dying. How? I do not know, but it starts to spin REALLY slow. The bearing is shot, and not staying in place: in shot, the inferior craftsmanship is to blame.
