Only factor you seriously have to do is turn down the mic volume since its a tiny loud straight out of the box None! This thing is freakin awsome!

Incredibly comfy. Great create top quality. Will not function properly in Windows 7 64-bit. Razer has released a firmware update but this does not resolve the concern. Bottom line, if you are running 64-bit Windows 7, do not acquire these things. After several unanswered emails to Razer's tech support, I finally called them only to hit a wall with regards to receiving these things to work. Ended up sending them back for a full refund.

Awsome sound from these. I am able to hear zombies coming up around walls in L4D2, also able to hear everything in TF2. Just got Modern Warfare two and have been able to hear eniemes creeping up behind me and to my sides and am in a position to turn around fast sufficient to get the jump on them. Only issue I have is that the lights in the headset and sound box don't turn off when the pc turns off but that is my only complaint. A lot of people right here are complaining about sound cutting out, nicely just before I even began working with it I updated the firmware of the headset. I am making use of vista64 bit and followed directions step by step and have had NO troubles with sound. Sounds good!!! Nearly as good as my head phones I use for sound work. They feel excellent; the packing was super with their own case and the case own box. SWEET. XP PRO SP3 saw it as soon as I plug it in. Just make certain ther are plug into the pc(rear) not a hub or a keyboard. Like the Razer Lycosa mirror keyboard... It took a little even though to get them to perform changing settings and so on. Only will operate plug into the laptop usb not a usb hub or a keyboard/RazerLycosa mirror keyboard/ that was my program. LOL

Comfy, excellent sound top quality (when it works). Mic and sound each cut off randomly. From time to time mic will stop working and other occasions sound will turn off completely. Item should be unplugged and replugged to perform once again for another 20 minutes. Never again will I acquire a razer item. Razer support has NOT been useful at all. Following razer's directions precisely; I had trouble updating the firmware. The updater was buggy and would stay stuck at % for eternity. I've utilised these for music (Pandora, Slacker) and they sound very good to me. For (COD4, COD WaW, Mass Impact, Counter Strike Source, Stalker) they are a lot much better than my old stereo headsets. I can tell where the enemy is with out moving left and right. comfy. sound ok, yes just ok. I sent mine back. There wasn't a challenge per Se, I just couldn't think that @ 贵.99 my 10 year old broken Sennheisers (ฮ originally) sound louder, crisper, clearer and fuller than these. Maybe Razer must stick to creating mice and mousing surfaces (although they don't truly do that properly either lately). I think Razers ideal get contracts have led them to skip the High quality Assurance portion of the manufacturing approach. They also dropped all support for all their items considering that then (except by e-mail in which you'd be lucky to hear back from them the same month)

I am pretty happy with this product. There are some mic issues but I've managed to more or less resolve them. The material used for this product is very sturdy and doesnt have a cheap feel. But for the price it shouldnt. The controller is a tad large for my taste but overall it is a great product and people should at least try it.

These really feel like an upgrade from the Razer Carcharias. I use these for MMORPG like Everquest II and FPS like Crysis and Counter Strike Source. I can hear my enemies on Counter Strike Source like a mile away, which sounds like wall hacking, but its legal. The Maelstorm Volume Control is awsome, which permits you to adjust your surround sound volume and bass.
