Cons:
Dose not have on the fly sensitivity switch buttons like the Lachesis or Mamba. You'll have to program it using button 4 and 5.
Pros: Very comfortable, sturdy, reliable, and ergonomic mouse. Very long cable, this rat has a long tail. Comment:
From Razer, this is the best mouse for the buck. It is simpe in design, but very comfortable to use. |

Razer DeathAdder 3500 Gaming Mouse 5 Button 3500DPI Infrared Sensor Optical USB
Cons:
Big buttons on the side, easy to hit.
Pros: Soft feel on the mouse; scroll wheel is quiet. Comment:
Wanted to try a new mouse, although this one is quite comfortable I still prefer my G500. I also though I could use it with my left hand (trying to balance hand movement) but although it almost looks like it would fit, it doesn't. There's a left-hand edition though; which is quite nice.On a side note, it fits nicely in your hand, no need to adapt like I had to with my G500. Strongly recommending as a great mouse. |

Razer DeathAdder 3500 Gaming Mouse 5 Button 3500DPI Infrared Sensor Optical USB
Cons:
-Gets stuff stuck in the cracks and edges easily
Pros: -Comfortable-Sensitive-highly configurable-IT GLOWS BLUE! Comment:
I'll never go back to a cheap mouse again. It comes with software to switch the function of the buttons and change the DPI and polling rate and etc but I just went with the default settings because I didn't have a problem with it. If you're picky about that kind of thing you have the option to tweak settings, though.I use a combination of a 'palm' and 'claw' grip and the mouse handles well.Didn't give 5 stars because there were times when I just thought it didn't feel like a top quality build but it doesn't bother me too much.Would buy again. |

Pros: Great ergonomicsCool lookingRazer software Comment:
Switched over from a Microsoft Habu to this mouse. Honestly they shape and feel pretty much the same. However the Habu is a bit heavier and the mouse cord is rubber so it kind of tangle up with the stuff on my desk. The deathadder does not have this problem. Overall I am pretty satisfied with this mouse. |

Razer DeathAdder 3500 Gaming Mouse 5 Button 3500DPI Infrared Sensor Optical USB
Cons:
- Side and bottom of mouse get dusty easily, probably due to the material
Pros: - Material of the buttons won't leave dirty prints after continual usage- Cool lights on scroll button and on mouse, which both can be turned on/off- buttons don't make too much noise when clicked- 2-yr warranty Comment:
I bought this mouse to replace my OCZ Behemoth gaming mouse, which broke after 14 months of usage. I'm not a hardcore gamer, just want a decent mouse that looks cool, and can support first-person shooting when I do play once a while. For the price I pay ($39.99 due to a $20 discount), it's pretty good if it can last me another 2-3 years I'll continue to update this review if I discover any more strengths/weaknesses with this mouse |

Razer DeathAdder 3500 Gaming Mouse 5 Button 3500DPI Infrared Sensor Optical USB
Cons:
scroll wheel does have lateral playprice, only if you don't price matchslightly too tall of palm rest area
Pros: appearancepulsating razer logobraided cordcomfortprogrammable keysdpi settings Comment:
I bought this mouse as a spare/ back up to my saitek RAT5 mouse and it absolutely replaced the the RAT5 and is now my primary mouse. Over all, mouse feels amazing, it works flawlessly. I love the rubber feeling of the top and pulsating razer logo adds to the bonus.I haven't had any issues with the mouse yet, it seem to track just fine, with my razer goliathus fragged edition mouse pad(speed edition). Set up was quite straight forward, just plug in the mouse and depending on what operating system you are running, it will either install it for you or you'll have to install it manually. Either way, go find the latest driver from razer website and you are ready to go.Speaking of programmable keys, you are limited to probably lets say 2 keys. consideing most of the times at least in my case, I use scroll to browse through my weapon. from there you are left with 2 side buttons to play around with to program. I haven't actually programmed anything with it other than 2 differnt dpi settings for up and down for different games. There is a profile switch button on the bottom of the mouse which isn't terrible but i've gotten used to switching it on the fly from the top of the mouse from the RAT5.Couple of things I do not like about this mouse. it took some time getting used to because it does have high/tall palm rest area compared to other mice in the market with similar profile palm/claw grip. I find my palm to get really warm after an hour or so.Scroll wheel seem to have bit of play side to side making this mouse feel cheap like those 10 dollar london drugs mouse. All the gaming mouse i've owned did not have this, including the latest rat5, even if i tried to look for a play on scroll wheel by shaking the mouse or using index finger to move it sideways, there was no lateral play but deathadder does have significant play. Mind you, I went back to ncix to exchange for another one and new one is doing the same so I just accepted it as is.Over all, I'm fairly impress with this mouse, I've gotten used to it and it is really comfortable aside from feeling little bit cheap. oh one more thing, it does take more effort to press the mouse buttons compared to rat5 |

...sleeved cable rubs against stuff and makes an annoying scratching size
Pros: Comfortable gripCool LED LightsGlides nicelyNice sleeved mouse cable but... Comment:
Picked up this mouse and I am so impressed with how nicely it glides! Razer has sleeved the cable which makes for a great atheistic and gives off a good build quality. However at the same time, the sleeving rubs against the cable corridor on my desk and makes an awful scratching noise.Minor issue though. |

Razer DeathAdder 3500 Gaming Mouse 5 Button 3500DPI Infrared Sensor Optical USB
Cons:
I just hate how big the mouse is for my hand. After purchasing this thing for 55bucks i was really disappointed. If your hands are pretty small or if your fingers are short, this is NOT the mouse for you. Also, i learned that im a finger tip clicker which means i dont rest my joints on the mouse but i just use my finger tips to click and this mouse is not designed for that especially for small hands.
Pros: comfortable, good key assignment Comment:
Although the mouse is pretty comfortable but for extreme gaming id like it to be bit more smaller so i can controle it better. |

Pros: Smooth, comfortable, light Comment:
I have been using the Razer Deathadder Mouse for over a month now. All I can say is good. It has very slippery rubber material on it and allows my fingers to slip in just like a snake! The ergonomic design of it is just awesome. Every part of it looks really nice. The indentend left and right clicks are really suitable for gaming. There are these two ultra huge MOUSE 4 and MOUSE5 buttons which can be click very easily. I have never use such a gaming mouse before. The Razer Deathadder will certainly boast your gaming experience and take you to a higher level. |

Razer DeathAdder 3500 Gaming Mouse 5 Button 3500DPI Infrared Sensor Optical USB
Cons:
Would be nice if I could change the dpi settings more. Box didn't come with software
Pros: Fits nicely in my hand, moves very smoothly, very nice to look at Comment:
Great mouse, fits my hand nicely. Got it mainly for playing starcraft. The mouse moves very smoothly, you really need a big/gaming mousepad for this since it is quite big. Very nice texture on the top.Box contents are very professionally done. It didn't come with software but you can download it off their website. Also the dpi does not change on the fly and their software only lets you change from ~900 to about 1800. Would be nice if you can choose something in between.Still an amazing mouse especially when you get it for $35 + tax. Also came with two neat stickers of the Razer logo. |

Cons:
Feels like it would break after a few months of use. My 1800 DPI scroll wheel started squeaking after a few months. Hopefully it won't happen with the 3.5G one.
Pros: Very comfortable (for my hand at least)Looks really nice good tracking on my Razer Goliathus Comment:
I had owned the original 1800 dpi deathadder when the scroll whell started squeaking. Replaced it with the updated 3.5G sensor, and it has been performing well! |

Cons:
Could use more side buttonsTakes a bit of time to get used to the grip but afterwards its worth it.
Pros: ComfortPrecisionDurable Comment:
I found that with most razer mice the grip is very different than your typical logitech mouse (full palm grip). But if you can get used to it you'll find that they are quite comfortable and most likely your scores will get better do to the high precision and new grip that your using. After three and a half years of use this is also the mouse that has lasted the longest for me as an ex-logitech mouse customer. |

Pros: Amazing price - Got on sale for 34.99Really comfortable and one of the cheapest palm grip razer mousesThe cord is braided as opposed to regular plastic cords Really cool looking LED scroll wheel and symbol Comment:
Bought this on sale to replace a stock mouse and the difference is astronomical. This mouse is very comfortable and the material feels really nice. The firmware and drivers are easy to download and the buttons are very easy to program. |
Coming from an ancient Logitech MX700 wireless to this is like night and day for FPS gaming. Still getting used to the lightness and slick feel on the Sphex pad. This is by far the best mouse I've had thus far. This review was modfied by poster @ 03-15-11 08:38 PM
