Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Could be too big if you have small hands

Pros:AccurateFastLooks cool?
Comment:
Got this to replace my dieing mouse and it's great. Looks cool and is very responsive and accurate. Not so much a fan of the shape of it, I rather my Logitech G5 but that's just me. My brother likes it.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:i was a victim of the curser skip incident

Pros:9 buttons, 4000dpi, attractive, LEFT HANDED!!!
Comment:
I got this mouse the day it was stocked. My motivation is that i am left handed and i play lefty. Grate scroll wheel, awesome clickers. Razer has awesome costumer service. I was one of many that had a curser skip issue, and razer sent me a free Destructor mouse pad. problem was solved. Fragging in UT3 and TF2 is awesome, so good my roommate traded in his Logitech G7 for one of these.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:2 of the buttons are almost unusableshape/comforti'm actually giving this two stars. i don't have my receipt any more, so i have no OrderID to enter.

Pros:lots of buttonsdpi adjustment on the flysymmetrical for lefties or righties
Comment:
I've had this mouse for more than half a year, so i've had lots of time to get used to it.first off, the finish is a wonderful matte black, it feels very smooth. it's quite sensitive and responds to small movements accurately. it can have up to 5 dpi settings loaded on to it, and you can raise/lower sensitivity easily.now come the problems. first off, the shape. it's uncomfortable. i don't know where to put my ring finger. the corners flare out a bit, so putting it on the side makes it uncomfortable. letting it rest on top gives me less control of the mouse...then there's the 2 buttons on the sides. it's symmetrical, so 2 are right by your thumb. the other two are somewhere under your pinky knuckle. relatively useless, and it's set to change the mouse profiles by default. you should consider this to be a 7-button mouse.last but not least, after about 6 months of use, the mouse wheel is acting up. the middle click doesn't always register, and sometimes it's double-clicking by itself.for a cheaper mouse, i could forgive these little things (maybe not the last one). but for $80, or maybe #60 on sale, i expect a product of much better build and engineering quality.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:None

Pros:Rubber non-slip gripGood lookingfastcustomization
Comment:
Razer has yet again made the best mouse around. The rubber top gives you a confident grip on the mouse as well as providing a non-slip grip. The pictures don't do it justice, the mouse is hot, it's got a lit up blue scroll wheel and a larger Razer symbol than the Copperead and it still has the pulse effect, yet it still seems more mature, there is no glow bar but i personally found that distracting. The gold plated usb plug really makes you feel the money's gone to use so forget about the price tag. The mouse has no flaws and is definitely a step up from previous generations.

Cons:pain to use on vista x64

Pros:Great Mouse, Highly accurate
Comment:
It's a great mouse to use but unfortunately on windows vista x64 (any 64 bit version) you have to constantly boot your computer with the driver signature verification offlooking forward to using it when xp sp3 comes out and enjoy using it on vista x64 (even though it's a pain in the ***)ENJOY!!

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Very hard to get used to after a decade of using Logitech mice. Double clicking is a huge pain in the ass. Sometimes a little TOO sensitive.

Pros:Extremely precise, excellent customization, nice feel, smooth operation.
Comment:
Overall, a very good mouse, but not without it's share of pitfalls. I honestly still prefer my old reliable MX518, but in terms of pure speed and precision this mouse is king. However, the mouse buttons are very annoying at high sensitivity and if you don't click just right, it thinks you're dragging the pointer instead of double clicking. Also, the shape is really hard to get used to, especially for someone used to the Logitech feel. The button placement on the right is good, but the left buttons; used to change profiles up and down, can be a royal pain as your fingers will often hit them hard enough, causing the mouse to stop responding as it swaps profiles. Otherwise, the software is excellent; easy to use and very customizable, but you will seldom use more than two profiles to be honest. Plus with a mouse this sensitive it strongly discourages people from using your comp at a LAN when you're not looking :P. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-28-08 07:24 PM

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Odd shapeSide buttons hard to reach

Pros:4000 DPIOn the fly DPI adjustmentonboard ram for saving profiles
Comment:
Not the most comfortable mouse I've used. The shape of the mouse seems a little bit huge and the width is small making it ununcomfortable for my hand like it doesn't fit. If your right handed, the 2 buttons on the right side are hard to use and vice versa if your left handed. The other 2 mouse buttons on the correct side seems ok. The DPI is awesome making the tracking super smooth and sensitive. The only thing I like about this mouse is the high DPI. I wouldn't buy another one myself and I don't think I can recommend this mouse to others. Some may like it some may not. I use the Boomslang 2007 CE alot more than this mouse.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:- Big and odd to grip

Pros:- Very smooth and sensitive
Comment:
Verry smooth and accurate. Did not always register when moving so I purchased I new mouse pad for 30$ but had no luck. It was only a slight problem and didn't happen to offten. The mouse shape and grip is so odd for me I could not get use to it. Its is verry big to grip. Purchased a Logitech G9 instead and couldnt be happier. G9 is the by far the best mouse I have use. So if you are looking for a mouse check out the G9.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:-none

Pros:-4000 dpi, very sensitive-on the fly dpi adjustment-onboard ram for saving profiles-looks sweet
Comment:
If you enjoy using Razer mice or just want to try something new, this is definitely the mouse to get. The Lachesis is extremely fast and sensitive. I upgraded from a Razer Diamondback and the difference was noticeable right from the first touch. The overall shape was a bit different from other Razer mice I've used but it didn't take long to get used to and is now quite comfortable for me. If you're a gamer looking for a faster, more responsive mouse then look no further.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:-Not so great for people who like to rest their palm on the mouse.-At times hard to use opposite side buttons. (I set them to my default lowest DPI and standard fps DPI for getting quickly back to sniping/regular speed if I ever change to somewhere in between using the incremental DPI UP/DOWN buttons. Works flawlessly)-due to the way you hold the mouse, may be difficult to 'twitch' reach the internet forward button in a snap firefight.-Price. PMatch for best results.

Pros:+On the fly DPI AND sensitivity settings, both in incrimental changes should you like that sort of thing.+Lightweight (Con for some. Pro for me after using many wireless mice)+Extremely configurable, including options to turn off the 'bling'+Wheel has solid indents for smooth, accurate scrolling+Great for people who like to rest their palm on the mousepad.+Hasn't lost tracking once.
Comment:
Overall very satisfied. Light, responsive, good feel, and enough configurations to sate the demands of any needy gamer.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Some tracking issues

Pros:Wide range of DPI settingsResponsiveProfile switching
Comment:
This mouse is quite easy to use once you get use to the shape. Profile switching is a nice feature if you play a couple of games. All my binded keys and DPI setting are automatically loaded when I load the game. The only issue I've had so far is the cursor moving by itself without moving the mouse. I've contacted Razer support about this and they said they are working on a firmware update for this issue.

Cons:Cursor skips on solid colour Icemat mousing surface.

Pros:Nice feel, quick response
Comment:
Have had about 2 months now. I enjoy the look and feel of it. Great tracking! Only problem I have, Razer tech is looking into it, is that on my Icemat the cursor jumps. When I use my desk I have no problems. I think this is because of the solid colour of the Icemat.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Strange shapeExpensiveButton positioning

Pros:Smooth movementHigh sensitivityLots of features
Comment:
I bought this on sale for $69.99. Even on sale it was expensive. The mouses best feature is how smooth it glides across my desk surface. It feels like I'm gaming on an air hockey table. I'm able to change the DPI in game and it really has helped with sniping. The mouse has a strange shape and makes it difficult for palm gripping. If you like to grip with your finger tips than you will like this mouse. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-16-08 06:42 PM

Comment:
Wow, this mouse is amazing. Better than the Logitech's gaming mice in my opinion. Setting it to 4000 DPI is insane but great for gaming. On the fly DPI for games (i.e. sniper rifles) works great. what a great idea, nice job Razer.

Razer Lachesis High Precision 3G Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:none

Pros:Superb mouse, top of the Razor Line.. a little smaller than the "Death Adder" but much more sensitive
Comment:
My "Death Adder " died after only 15 days... folks at Razor have been very good and will replace it. But..I was without my mouse..so I decided to give this one a try...wow... super sensitive... you might want to tone it down..Now lets hope this one doesn't "die" after 15 days...Works great on "Crysis Demo"..Nov 16th we'll really test it.If you want a mouse that is "extremely responsive" this is the one.
