Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:Very loud clicks

Pros:Nice matte finish, comfortable,lights up
Comment:
I like being able to change the colors on the dock and mouse itself. Wired/wireless makes it great when the batteries are low while in a game. Good mouse, check it out !

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:left clicks make squeak noise and the distinctive vibration can be felt. I believe the problem comes from a design flow I read online, apparent the left click has 3 mechanical pieces as opposed to 2 for the right click, resulting in the squeak. only possible fix seems to be opening it up and adding lubricant to the mechanical parts. However I am not going to risk breaking a $130 mouse, so I am hopping as time goes, the squeak noise will go away as it wears.

Pros:Looks Great,changing LED lights

Bottom Line: I got this mouse brand new for free so I can't really complain, but I do not think this thing is worth the price.

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:* DPI up/down buttons on the top left of the mouse are very hard to reach* Two side buttons aren't the most conveniently placed either* L/R mouse buttons are very sensitive, and takes some getting used to. Sometimes press L/R buttons by accident when trying to rest my hand on it* Expensive, even at sale price (I purchased at 99.99)* Weight not adjustable* No adjustable parts to suit different hand shape/sizes* Switching wired/wireless connector is a bit of a hassle compared to other mice out on the market

Pros:* Ergonomic* Wired/Wireless option* Accurate* DPI option 100-6400* Excellent scroll wheel (firm but easy to scroll with)* Glides well* Battery life indicator* Novelty lighting effect on scroll wheel

I traded in a R.A.T.9 mouse for the Mamba. Luckily for me, my hand fits great on this mouse. No adjustment needed, though I can't say the same for some others.I'd like a heavier mouse as it's what I'm used to, but I'll eventually get used to the Mamba too. Same goes with the mouse buttons sensitivity.Overall, this is a great mouse, and I don't regret buying it, but it's definitely not perfect.

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:- interface for mamba is quite slow and dull. anytime u pop open the config menu. mamba needs to uploads its profiles to the computer to check out. (so just stick to 1 profile, otherwise u'd have to wait a lot longer, max 6 profiles).- firmware and driver update s are better since razer's first generation mouses. but still not so solid. after driver update  i get 5 additional profiles in chinese writing. i opened to check it out and had to wait forever to even get the config screen. Then i try to delete  them but gives me error that there was only 1 profile and i coundlt delete  it. installing firmware again helped solve this.- odd disconnect issues sometimes. thought it was power but it still had 2 bars on it. i had to plug it back in wire mode and continue d3'ing. -plugging into wire mode takes about 10 seconds to boot up. so its not an instant thing.- sometime wireless reciever doesn't connect properly. a quick disconnect and reconnect seems to fix this.

Pros:- wireless / wired possible, great for forgetting to recharge.- like the deathadder, very ergonomic.- solid built. clicks are crisp. mouse3 click is crisp.- lots of lighting to suit ur tastes.- rubber plates on both left and right sides are nice addition and also on the mouse4 and 5 buttons.- tracking is excellent. in wireless mode during high low framerate action, tracking tends to lose its precision. otherwise its pretty good all the time.

Purchased this for $99 on sale. I owned 3 razer products now including this one. I must say they've improved their quality by quite a bit, in both actual physical product and also the UI and update  features. On a side note, i get quite a lot of perspiration when gaming. and it sometimes leaves a damp spot on the bottom of my palm. mouse has no problems working after this.Dust problem. i dont know if im a dirty guys but the feet of the mouse seem to collect a lot of dust around the edges. specifically the sensor has a circle feet around it. and if its not cleaned enough im afraid it will effect tracking. For 100 bucks i think i would recommend this to any gamer. Its a pleasure to use. however on the regular user, this mouse is way too expensive and should go for any regular mouse. Most of these properties the mouse has is quite over kill. As my first wireless gaming mouse, it was nice to have no snag on the wire.that is all

I was torn between the Logitech G700 or the Mamba and I finally chose the Raser once it had a price drop  to 99,99$. I am very pleased with my purchase and haven't come across any problems so far. People write about noisy wheel and hard to plug/unplug cable but for now the wheel is nice and quiet and the cable is sturdy and easy to connect.

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:Price? Yeah it's on the more expensive side, but I consider it well worth it. I have tried just about every mouse on the market and nothing compares for me. Logitech lost me with the shape of the G9/G9X and although some day I would love to own a logitech again, they have gotten old and stale. The software is a bit slow to load.

Pros:I cant believe all the negative reviews due to ignorance or laziness.I have had the original Mamba for a few years now. I purchased the Mamba 2012 last summer. These are by far my favorite mice. I have had 0 problems with either one and it is the only wireless mouse I have EVER been happy gaming with. The battery on my original Mamba JUST died, not bad for being a few years old. I got a new one for $13 shipped. The new Mamba still goes strong and I still get hours of gameplay without charging. The best part of this mouse is that when it does die, usually due to me forgetting to charge, I can just plug in the cable and keep going.

Love this mouse. It's very comfortable to hold, the wireless works flawlessly (as well as being wired), it looks awesome, and is just overall excellent. The price is a little high but in the end worth it) especially if price matched. Definitely recommend buying this mouse. On a side note, my mom actually wants one because it's so comfortable, and can be wireless or wired, which is funny and awesome at the same time.

The Razer Mamba 2012 is a great mouse! Everything from how it feels to the way it glides across screen is great. The options for setting your DPI settings on the fly is great. Being able to change the LED lights is a bonus. You can either change the color to one color or you have it cycle through all the colors. A very accurate mouse with no lag to speak of. One of the best wireless gaming mice on the market.

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:Software issues in Vista 64

Pros:The best of the Razer class mice, fast, and well made
Comment:
An expense but truly well made and thought out product. This mouse is fast, precise and has great ergonomics ,The packaging is a bit extreme, maybe for future sales as a heirloom /vintage product?Love all the customizable features and the fact that you can switch back and forth between wired and wireless modes, very nice!!True there is no left hand model, and no, the detaching of the cable to the dock only requires a bit of getting used to and no the "delay" between the time you detach the cable to the dock and getting to wireless mode is not that long at all.Vista 64 behaves weirdly with this mouse, in Linux, Windows 7 64 and XP..no issues.Yes I would highly recommend this product, and even though it might not say so, I bought this mouse at NCIX Vancouver and can "Verify" that I am the purchaser and owner

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:-Random disconnects-Slow wake up time-6400dpi unusable for normal use

Pros:-Great ergos-Good tracking-Multi colored LED-Good battery life-very customizeable
Comment:
Very fancy but expensive mouse. It does what it says its supposed to do but I believe it's a bit overrated. This mouse, along with other Razer mice tend to instantly disconnect at random times. It doesn't happen all the time but it does happen maybe once a week during regular use. If you're in the middle of an important situation in a game it could ruin it. Unplugging and reconnecting the mouse will bring it back, but for a mouse of this caliber it should not happen at all.The wireless tends to take a few seconds to fully connect when flipping the on switch from off. The truth is, I have a microsoft mobile mouse 4000 and it seems to track just as well or even better than this mouse, at a fraction of the price. It is wireless, instant wake up, and tracks extremely well using MS's blue track optical technology.Overall it is a very pretty mouse, and works well, but not fantastic. The 6400dpi spec is not useable and really just to impress. Razer's ergos are still #1 IMO. I own 4 of their mice as well as the Habu which was powered by Razer, and I have been very satisfied with all of them.

Razer Mamber 2012 Elite Ergonomic Wireless Laser Gaming Mouse 6400DPI 4G Dual Sensor 7 Button USB
Cons:Mouse sometimes does not wake up from sleep.Software has crashed on occasion.

Pros:Ability to be wired and wireless.Color cycling to match case or keyboard lights.Braided cableVery nice feel.DPI indicator where battery meter is located.
Comment:
I recently purchased this mouse after reading multiple positive reviews. I have to agree with them and state that this is a sick mouse. Very nice feel and fits my hand well as I have some large mitts. I have had some connection issues, but nothing a quick reconnect can't fix. I have noticed that sometimes the mouse will not wake from sleep. Not sure if this is an issue with my driver installation or the mouse itself. This is the second desktop wireless mouse I have purchased. The first being an older mx revolution, which I hated. I would recommend this to anyone looking to purchase a new wireless gaming mouse.
