Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:Not exactly cheap

Pros:Phenominal Sound Quality, X-Fi Without the Creative Garbage
Comment:
I was very hesitant buying this card. I used kX Drivers with my Audigy for years having never found a card that could match it for sound clarity... until now. Makes my Z-5500's sound phenomenal running DDL. Highly recommended from an extreme audiophile.

Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:I cant find any so far. I wish the opamps would be used when using optical out as well, not just analog out.

Pros:Amazing sound card, worth every penny. Makes music sound better then before.
Comment:
I just got it, first sight I wasn't very happy. But then realized my computer specs were low. I plugged the card into my stronger pc. And I was WOW worth every penny, music never sounded so good. I don't even have good receiver or speakers and still sounds amazing.Best sound card ever. Next step try different opamps. Get better speakers.Highly recommend it.

Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:Weak MIC Input. Drivers not finalized yet

Pros:DDL, EAX5.0, Audio creation mode
Comment:
All in all, great card. I'll be even happier when I get DTS and the drivers get out of RC and into final versions. The mic thing I overcame by cranking all mic volumes to max and enabling +20dB option but would prefer having some room on there.

Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:-Drivers are still not complete-Stock drivers off CD didn't work-Could have more outputs

Pros:-Good build quality, solid capacitors-Amazing sound quality, Clear crisp audio-Dolby Digital Live support combined with Creative EAX post processing-Soon to have support for DTS Interactive, DTS Neo:PC
Comment:
I upgraded to this card from my Creative X-FI Platinum. It does sound better, and has support higher end features like DDL encoding, something that the creative cards lacked. It blends the ability to EAX post process with DDL encoding very well. Only thing is that its drivers are not complete as of this review. Pre RC5-1 drivers had DDL instability, but it seems to be fixed now. Once drivers have been finalized this will be a great card.

Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:Lack of drivers updates.

Pros:Crispier sounds, more ambient sounds, high quality components, dobly and eax 5.0, Xram (for games that supports it).
Comment:
Great card. I've bought it because it was on a special deal. It took me long time to choose between Sound Blaster X-FI and this one (tough it's the same chipset). I've always been on SB since the old SB pro series (good old isa slots). I don't reget it. Big difference between my other card SB X-FI extreme music and this one. A must!

Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:bad driver, known mic problems, $

Pros:optical connection, sounds amazing
Comment:
am ugrading from an audgiy2 zs and sound blaster 5.1 surround sound system to an auzentech prelude and logitech z5500'sfrom the very cheap looking manufacturers cdrom, the drivers initialize, go through the motions then fail. attempted a few times and they still fail. I then download the newer drivers from the auz website and they work no prob. on all background reading for this sound card I've yet to hear that so it comes as a surprise...but, my mic works. a nice upgrade from the audigy2zs. a wee pricey but am happy

Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:Daughter card port does not work, but didn't plan on using it.

Pros:Great sound, Easy to switch modes, Great for games
Comment:
Best of both worlds, X-Fi and EAX 5 of CLabs and quality components and Dolby of AuzenTech. Using same speakers, sounds warmer and fuller than friend's Xtreme Gamer card. Much better than onboard audio. Bioshock and Hellgate and particularly great. The card was a bit snug getting into my ASUS A8N-SLI Premium's PCI slot, but easy to install overall. Highly recommended!!

Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:Cost

Pros:Excellent Sound QualityDolby Digital Live EncodingSuperior Components and Build Quality
Comment:
Best sound card I have ever purchased. I would recommend that if you are going to purchase this sound card pair it up with a speaker system like the Logitech 5500 or an older set like the Z680's or a set that can decode Dolby Digital. Use the optical cable(or COAX digital) and in the software select "Enable Dolby Digital Live Encoding" the card, in real time will encode the output to 5.1 digital sound, including video games. SOUNDS AMAZING, took my speakers to the next level. Would recommend this card to anyone who can afford it.

Roland Prelude Portable Keyboard
Cons:none so far

Pros:Excellent sounds quality, easy install, DDL is now supported
Comment:
Great sounding card compared to my Audigy 2 ZS platinum. All the features work great and no pop/hisses so far. Comes with a optical cable and adapters to allow you to plug it into the card but make sure you remove the protective covers from the adapters (looks like a little nub on the end) or they won't fit in the card.
