Moves a fantastic quantity of air. I can really feel it from this fan about a foot away from the back of my case. Place it in appropriate below the video card-dropped temps on it about 4C none Ive only had it for a couple days so nicely see how long it lasts, but it appears sturdy.

Rosewill RFX-100 Case Fan
Comment:
Seems to be a great excellent develop. The plastic does not feel flimsy at all and general I get a robust impression that this fan will last me a fantastic whilst. This is probably the most significant point in a fan of this nature, but I can't actually rate substantially on this till I've had it a lot longer due to the fact all I know is that it Seems good. Somewhat smaller fan (or at least a smaller opening.)Has a design that isn't actually entirely favorable towards allowing one particular to turn the fan over (they all can detach the metal plate, but it doesn't hold as well as soon as you do given that it wasn't created for this.) I'm mainly neutral on this general. On the a single hand it appears fairly durable and I believe it will final a fantastic though. On the other hand, the fan intake (and I presume the fan as well even though I didn't look very challenging because the intake largely determines the CFM even if it can construct up a lot of pressure) and I worry a bit that when I turned the metal plate more than so it will pull from the bottom of the case rather than pulling the air straight from the INTAKE of my video card cooling that it could be in a position to come loose. I'm quite positive it can't although, so I assume it will be ok.Overall I'm basically neutral about this. With this sort of fan not a lot is seriously needed anyway, so it most likely doesn't even matter.

I use an Asus EAX1950PRO and an Asus M2N-E Socket AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 Ultra. The northbridge on motherboards can run quite hot and my Asus card laid suitable above the primary element of the northbridge which brought on my card to heat up really a bit, not fantastic. I placed 1 of these below my card and it greatly enhanced the efficiency by sucking all that hot air away from my graphics card. Heat is a computers worst enemy. None, did what it was supposed to do.

Lowered my temps by about 5C. Effortless to install. Excellent costs. Rapid shipping. None. Newegg is the ONLY location for me. I was pleasantly surprised at how little space it took up in my case.

Does its job, and runs quietly. Moves a bit of air, and tends to make a noticeable distinction. None. It's only held in by one screw, but it seems to be sufficient. I just like issues to be a bit more secure then this.

Expels hot air, High density fan. Not recomended for SLI. The video cards are squishing the cooler in my mid tower Thermaltake Soprano lowering the expulsion of the hot air to a crawl. My temp siren isnt going off but which is superior cause thats what i got it for but i'm nonetheless testing under load 90 degree which is nearly hot enough to boil water. Possibly if you use it on a full size tower with a special SLI configuration exactly where there is far more room between the video cards this would really operate insanely nicely.

Rosewill RFX-100 Case Fan
Comment:
Quieter than anticipated, so this will not likely be heard above other case fans or heatsinks. Volume of air is fairly good as well. Casing is no bigger than the fan to keep from obstructing other objects. The value makes it a fantastic bargain. The case is thick, so it won't fit in all slot places and most likely won't fit suitable subsequent to one more card or heatsink. Given that most individuals use few expansion slots, this is an effortless obtain to incorporate and throw at the bottom of a case.

uncomplicated to install i know my whole video card has a shield about it but the intake vent of this item is right where the hottest portion of my video card is, this thing doest push as substantially air as the other testimonials are saying.. it did even so the temp .five of a degree... not really worth the perform of installing it to me. based on what the layout is of what you are trying to cool this item might really work better then it did for me.

Outstanding. Quiet cool running and inexpensive. Excellent Fan. A little big. Could be an issue if you have a lot of expansion cards or a limited number of slots.

* Moves a lot of air* Relatively quiet* Molex connector * ShortThe distance in between the exhaust of this fan and its intake is rather short. It doesn't make sense to use this (in the standard way) to cool a graphics card because the graphics card pumps all of its exhaust air to the front of the case, even though this PCI fan pulls air largely from the back of the case. To use this fan much more successfully, mount it in the front of your case on the floor, and get rid of your front USB-panel. Set it up to exhaust out the front of the case, and you'll heat your space with your graphics card's hot air. :)

HD Fans, Expels large volumes of air via the vents. Not for SLI configuration unless inside a full tower. I ended up obtaining artifacts whilst gaming, thats what i was afraid of. So i opened up my case and unmounted the fan cards and positioned them pointing the air from up with the vents toward the two video cards.. Now i am obtaining really superior outcomes. 66 degrees at full load.. just before i was acquiring pretty much 100 degree

Normally this fan is very easily adapted to just about any case with a free expansion slot. It would be excellent for keeping a GPU cool. It isn't silent, but is not specially loud or noticeable in the application I applied it in. As has been stated, it uses an expansion slot. For most situations where you would be contemplating employing one of these fans, it most likely doesn't matter although. I applied this fan for some time in my SGI 320 workstation to assist keep my Celeron 1.2 on a slocket adapter cool. The fan was setup perfectly to do this. It moves more air than I initially realized, which is a excellent factor.

Cost for what it does...this little pci expansion slot exhaust fan works fantastic. In my PC case lowerd a 8800GTX core temp from 56C to 50C @ idle. None, so get 1. I use a 8800GTX and overclock it as substantially as possible, I installed this fan proper below the 8800GTX exhaust vent facing the openings in the 8800GTX so there are now two exhaust vents in the pci expansion slot area. Turn my GPU fan to 100% and with this helping it, I tripled the exhaust flow off my video card, and enabled me to get one more 36MHz GPU core clock improve from 632MHz to 658Mhz.I like to save money and 36MHz on a GPU core clock for 10 bucks is like a gift from the video game g o d...

Nice addition to a case. You can either use this to aid with air flow or use it directly on a particular card. (most people today use it for video cards) Doesn't really lock into the PCI slot, if you have a screwless case, you may possibly uncover it a bit challenging to get it in securely, but with sufficient effort it can be completed. If your overclocking, or if you just like to have a cool running program, this is a good accessory for your cooling system.
